The Darkening, the Phantasm, and the Possession

It is perfectly obvious that the minds of the vast majority of beings do not function optimally, err in interpretation and response, and generate false notions and concepts.

We have already said that this inefficiency is traditionally attributed to “obscuration”, by the presence of destructive elements of different nature and origin.

Indeed, despite the fact that the nature of mind is clear light, it can become entangled in self-identifications and generate within itself distorted matrices, which leads to reduced efficiency. At the same time, none of the localized streams of mind is completely free of such elements, since the first of them — the illusion of separateness — is the condition of the stream’s very isolation; which means that complete enlightenment of the mind signifies its exit from isolation and transcending manifestation. In other words, among beings, you cannot find beings entirely free from obscurations (with the exception of buddhas — Masters of Enlightenment, who are the “answer” of the Absolute to the aspiration of the isolated toward liberation); only their degree of obscuration differs.

And, unfortunately, most often this degree is considerable, and considering the general consumerist nature of manifested being, it also greatly benefits many inhabitants.

Upon the “basic” level of obscuration connected with the very nature of a separate stream of mind, most often many levels of “secondary” destructors accumulate, “raised” by predators and parasites interested in their proliferation.

We have already mentioned that depending on the degree to which the mind is enslaved by such destructive programs and matrices, several levels are identified:

– obscuration

– delusion

possession

obsession

– integration,

where obscuration is the lowest degree of the mind’s “corruption”, and “integration” is the last level before its final demonization.

At the same time, thanks to the counteraction of evolutive forces and beings, the frequency of these destructive levels decreases accordingly: all manifested beings are obscured; most of them experience delusions; a significant part is susceptible to possession; obsession occurs comparatively rarely, and integration is an even rarer phenomenon. And if “obscuration” is a product only of the inner destructive activity of the mind, then the subsequent levels develop under the influence of more or less independent predators. Accordingly, the part of the mind that “provokes” it to act inefficiently is called a “parasite”, “lamassu”, and is seen as a pathology, a kind of “cancer” of the mind itself; and the “external” influences that contribute to the dissipation of energy are “predators”.

In turn, by their influence on the mind, predators are usually divided into “hungry spirits”, which provoke energy losses mainly for the sake of their own nourishment, and “demons”, which not only “devour” activated pneuma, but also “spoil” the very fabric of the mind, obstructing its evolution and pushing it toward degradation.

It is clear that it is precisely demons that exert the most destructive influence on the mind, having many levers and techniques that facilitate their access to the resources of psychic (and sometimes — even vital) energy.

We have repeatedly said that one way or another all beings experience the influence of demons — both as “beings” and as “destructive matrices”, however, the extent of this influence can be very different.

At the same time, the most frequent mistake that allows a demon into the mind is ignoring the stage of delusion, which “opens” the gates to energy outflow. This is the stage of “sabotage of development”, an inner dead end, which is often not recognized by the mind and remains hidden from it. Although the nature of any delusion is separateness, it can manifest as any of the “usual” brakes on development — laziness, envy, anger, etc. — with the only difference that the very existence of this destructor is actively denied, and an attempt to “address” it causes outbursts of aggression. In other words, if a person experiences inexplicable irritation when trying to overcome some obstacle to development (or when this brake is pointed out by a Master or Guide), this likely indicates slightly opening certain gates of destruction in their mind. If this moment is missed, the predator gradually conditions the mind to obedience, “trains” it, leading it to the stage of possession, which usually is the target.

If not for the constant efforts of evolutive forces and beings, all free beings would exist only as producers of activated pneuma, devoid of goals and free will, enslaved and “herded” by demons of various kinds and levels. Accordingly, if at the stage of “obscuration” a being can cope with dead ends and obstacles only by its own will, then starting from the level of delusion it requires external help. Therefore, recognizing delusion — an “insurmountable dead end” — is extremely important for the possibility of development, not to mention its success.

If such a dead end is discovered (most often it manifests as a subtle “sabotage” of development, a carefully hidden — both from others and from oneself — unwillingness to develop), it requires enormous patience and firm cooperation between the person affected and the Guide, who is capable of indicating the direction of exit from the destructive matrix. Unfortunately, in practice such systems are formed very rarely and survive even less often; actual overcoming occurs only in isolated cases. However, only at the stage of delusion can the Gates still be reliably shut; a person who has experienced possession, or even more so — obsession, even with successful banishment, already remains for life a “spiritual invalid”, irreversibly traumatized by contact with evil and always at risk of being infected by it again.

In accordance with the nine “key” Gates, they usually speak of nine types of delusion — 9 basic “sins” — destructors that open up possibilities for the primary distortion of the mind. We discussed these “dead ends” in detail in the book “New Lemegeton, volume 2”; now we will only note that correct diagnosis of the source of delusion makes it possible to build an effective therapeutic strategy, which may include Kabbalistic (“shemhamforash”) and theurgic (activation of corresponding constructive matrices) approaches.

In any case, only an honest and deep analysis of one’s own state will allow the wayfarer to determine the degree of their obscuration and the level of assistance required. In some cases, it may be a matter of one’s own practice, and in others — of a need for “external” guidance. And to neglect “external” help when it is necessary is as frivolous as to disdain a doctor’s help in healing a serious pathology of the body.

    • Yes, theoretically, this is possible, just like with all poisons. However, in practice, recognition and breaking free from dependency take much more energy than the predator provided.

  2. Master, tell me, though I probably ask a lot. After all, initially, as I see it, a person has energetic protection from invasion from birth? Received from parents or from a rite/ceremony? And all modern mass technologies are aimed at its destruction until the consciousness matures.

    • Yes, there is protection, or rather, immunity or resistance. However, by adolescence, there is almost nothing left of it…

Yes, of course, such things happen: https://enmerkar.com/en/myth/childrens-magic Children are more accessible, more receptive, and therefore can be good mediums, which, however, is not always positive, as such “mediumship” weakens one’s protective mental forces, and many children who had contact experiences with the other side carry this imprint for the rest of their lives. One should treat this as one would any extraordinary perception: it is permissible only if it is controlled.
