Lilith and Lucifer

world

Viewing the world from a relative point of view, as the realization of the drive toward self-knowledge of a transreal realm, we understand that this self-knowledge takes place in a set of biners — dualities — subject-object pairs.

In other words, for the process of knowing, of reflection, to arise, a certain potential difference is necessary, and therefore the manifested reality is always dual.

However, although duality itself is an imperfection, in its ideal, harmonious form — when the poles of a biner strive for mutual reflection and interpenetration — it is a path leading to the realization of one of the potencies of the Absolute: His self-knowledge in the totality of His individual aspects.

At the same time, such a state of a biner, when its forces are ideally balanced, is exceedingly fragile and easily disrupted. The variant of self-knowledge that occurs in such an “ideal state” has no duration and no internal development of its own; it occurs instantaneously, outside of time.

Another potency, another possibility — a variant of self-knowledge in which this process is “unbalanced” and therefore “stretched out” — requires the concept of time and can be considered from an “inner”, relative point of view. From the standpoint of the relative individual mind, we see precisely this “fallen” variant of development, and therefore our description of the world is a description of the “disharmonious” Way of the development of self-knowledge. And although, from the perspective of the Absolute, all these possibilities are merely variants, potencies, equally existing and non‑existing, we look “from within” one of those possibilities, which we call “manifested being.”

the-creator

It is in this way that we see the cosmos — as a space of imbalanced biners, striving to balance themselves and to mutually reflect their poles.

And this cosmos is composed of biners of two kinds — “horizontal“, when the subject is opposed to the object, being opposed to consciousness, and “vertical“, when the harmonious mutual reflection of a biner’s poles is opposed to struggle and mutual negation as a mode of relation.

It is clear that the harmonious neutralization of “horizontal” biners — that is, the development and expansion of awareness, its “entry” into being — is obstructed precisely by “vertical” biners, as reflected in the magical concept of destructors and the Qliphoth.

As soon as the mind attempting to neutralize some biner within itself shifts into one of its poles and loses balance, a counterforce arises, and therefore additional impulses and causes draw it away from the initial awareness, disrupting and distorting it. In other words, as soon as the mind “allows” a “vertical” duality within itself, this opens the field to destructive influence.

biner

It follows that any “horizontal” biner in the manifested world contains an obstacle, the “Yetzer hara“, to its integration, balancing and harmonization — a distorting current of force within it. This idea is reflected in the concept of the “Tree of Qliphoth” and its two roots — the denial of unity and the denial of love.

The first root is the distorted notion of individuality, which results in the illusion of separateness. As a principle, this supreme destructor is expressed in the figure of Lucifer, the “father of evil”, born as a distortion, a “darkening” of the concept of Unity‑in‑multiplicity — the pleroma — and thus acting as the anti‑Logos of being. As a process, this distortion manifests as a repelling force — Naxash — establishing the “borders and limits” of the objective world. Yet overcoming this destructor would be comparatively simple if not for the second root of the Qliphoth. Indeed: mind striving for self‑reflection, for self‑knowledge, can relatively easily detect the relativity, conventionality and illusoriness of all boundaries, discover the unity behind multiplicity and thus, it would seem, overcome Lucifer’s power. A great many of the “attained” and “enlightened” are utterly convinced they have done so. However, the Tree of Qliphoth is not called “inverted” without reason; in it the “infinity of fragmentation” — Taumiel, the “infinitely small point” formed by Lucifer and opposed to Keter of the Sefirot — lies below, at the greatest distance from Keter.

loneless

“Above,” however, where the Qliphoth “touch” the Sefirot, is the Second root of evil — the Spirit of Possession, Lilith, the Black Mother of the cosmos.

And whereas the distortion of the Logos, Lucifer, is fairly “visible” in its influence, the distorted Shekhinah, manifesting as Nachemoth and Gamaliel, is far more “hidden” and therefore firmer in its power. This force does not “deny” love, unity, harmony directly; it substitutes them with consumption, possession, absorption.

If Taumiel is the sphere of the “point”, of “infinite fragmentation”, then Nachemoth is the sphere of “infinite space”, where darkness rules. And to “discover” this darkness, to acknowledge its influence and thereby take a step toward freeing oneself from its power, is far more difficult than simply seeing “unity”. The absence of love, so characteristic of many of the “enlightened“, is the obvious evidence of their immersion in Nachemoth.

Recall that the name “Lucifer”, “light‑bearer”, denotes fixation on the pole of ‘light’, i.e., fragmentation: a clear perception of distinctions, whereas the name “Lilith” is translated as “Night” and signifies immersion into the darkness of dissolution, of de‑identification. For the Magus, therefore, love is a condition of freedom. The Magus must not merely become aware of unity, nor even simply see it; the Magus must also awaken his heart, find within himself a living source of love and compassion.

Only then, having overcome the influence of both roots of the Qliphoth, will the Magus be able truly to accept his nature — the nature of pure light and unconditional love — and thus enter the harmonious, pleromic stream of the self-awareness of the Great Spirit.

  1. The paragraph is written very well, stating that love is a condition of freedom. Thank you.

  2. In my opinion, it would be very important to clarify the concept of love directly in the article or at least in the comments. This is a dangerous moment; very often people confuse love with something else, and in addition to the adherents of this ‘great love’, numerous innocent souls suffer. And bodies.
Must love have emotional expression, be accompanied by a special facial expression? Is constant blood-draining donor attention necessary? What is the difference between love and the craving for control of the consumed?

    • Maybe you can explain? – if you know exactly what genuine love differs from something else……….In my opinion, love cannot be expressed in words..

    • Is that addressed to me? Everything you listed is certainly not love. As for what love is, explaining it is useless. It “exists for those for whom it exists”. This is a benedictum, imho, a changed state of consciousness, a touch into the depth of feeling the world and your partner, so deeply that all words of love become unnecessary, inappropriate, like cologne in a garden full of flowers.

  3. I would characterize love as a state of light joy, the unburdening of existence 😉 and total acceptance, emanating from the Anahata chakra, provided it functions normally (absence of blockage).

  4. This state is beautifully practiced in solitude, in nature, somewhere in the mountains, in the forest, by the sea, lake, flowing spring, among people attuned to the same wave……………………………………………………….and then you descend into the mundane society with its rules and algorithms…..And where does all that unburdened and total acceptance go?……..An alien world opens its toothy maw to devour the enamored dervish……………………….I recall the final scene from Suskind’s Perfume – when he drenched himself in the Spirit of Love, and the people sitting by the fire nearby devoured him alive in a fit of ecstasy. They picked at his bones, expressing their total love and acceptance.

    • One can exist in society at two points:
      * the first – inside society, holding its states
      * the second – in the field on the vertical, which is interesting

we establish a potential difference between them, we conduct from 2 to 1 and then horizontally through all ‘foreign algorithms.’

      • Yes, Theo… you can become a cancer, a side, learn Tensegrity, split into points, swallow books by the shelf in search of the right words…. you might spend years on this….. only to finally realize in a mad frenzy that All Foreign Paths are Meaningless and Worthless.

        • I know almost nothing about Tensegrity, and I read very few books. I talked about a method that I’ve long used in my own practices when my state is incompatible with the state of my environment. About one of the methods.
(Publicly discussing the correctness of paths, whoever they belong to, I do not see any sense. And personally, judging by the lack of responses to letters, it seems you do not wish to, and that’s fine. I will try to react less to your entries that sound like requests for help.)

  5. I want to express a radical objection to the assertion that the goal of the absolute is self-knowledge. The Absolute is self-sufficient by definition, including in terms of knowing anything. The goal of the absolute is simply the desire to unite everything in the universe, and only that. This is its function in the Universe. The Universe is created for subjects to engage in Love. Each in their own way, and each as they interpret. All other properties, beauty, consciousness, evolution, purity, skills, strength, etc., are needed only to engage in Love as efficiently and continuously as possible. Self-knowledge is required by the dark lord Ildabaoth, who by nature is the darkness of ignorance and who can know himself only in the process of manifesting the dark (for example, matter) in order to make this darkness light (as he believes). This is the approach he preaches since he can do anything except Love. Considering himself the pinnacle of creation and believing himself absolute, above whom there is no one, he will inevitably set tasks for himself like: knowledge for the sake of knowledge, accumulation of power for the sake of having power, life for the sake of life. Hence it follows that magicians engaging in self-development do not know for what purpose this development is required since something will always be lacking. As self-knowledge develops, the questions will only multiply until the magician discovers that it is not love that is needed for the development of correct consciousness, but correct consciousness is required for engaging in love. The darker the consciousness, or the less strength, or parasites prevail, the harder it is to engage in love. Parasites do not need love; they are incapable of it, just like their leader; rather, they require the bliss that arises in the process of engaging in love. Or a consciousness that develops automatically when engaging in love without any magical techniques, which without engaging in love is an infinite striving for a goal that always runs away faster than consciousness can catch up with it. While you learn something one, the Universe produces a hundred times more new things, as personalities engaged in love manage to create an enormous variety of unique manifestations of Love. Love can be engaged in anywhere, by any means, and continuously. And this goal does not run away; it is always achieved the moment of engaging in Love. All creatures incapable of engaging in love only hinder and have no goals in this Universe at all as they ended up here from the past manvantara as a result of the actions of certain gods who engaged in creativity out of love instead of creatively engaging in Love.

    • Alexander, if the magical learning system is built correctly, it leads to understanding the importance of Love that you speak of, just not immediately. On the other hand, if everyone starts discussing Love each in their own understanding, without conscious development, the likely outcome will be not unification but a demographic explosion.

    • The Hymn of Love as the Absolute Force of Absolute Attraction. The force that compresses galaxies, stops Time, and again creates infinite worlds. And in whatever form (physical or “spiritual”) and with whatever intensity we may experience this Feeling, it is indeed the only “thing” worth pursuing.)
