Destructors and Loss of Power
Although the primary aim of the world-process is the increase of the Power of awareness, this increase does not come easily or quickly.
At first glance it seems there should be no delays: the world develops, awareness accumulates, perfection advances.
Nevertheless, experience shows that not everything is so rosy in this picture.
The magical myth assumes there is a fierce competition for power in the world, and that acquiring it is not as easy as it first appears.
To understand the causes of these difficulties, recall once more what the accumulation of power is based on. The Power of awareness arises as a result of the “inclusion” of the energies of the cosmos into the picture of the world formed by the Eidolon, when their interaction with existing energies expands the system’s capabilities. In other words, the Power of awareness is a set of possibilities open to a given being at its current stage of development.
If everything worked that way, then already by a fairly early stage of mental development its power would be considerable, its possibilities would be broad, and such a mind would develop exponentially, realizing its potencies and actualizing the monad ever faster.
And that, in turn, would mean that from an early stage of development any mind would be relatively self-sufficient, independent, and separated from other similarly evolving systems, and therefore would be unable to grasp the notion of fullness — that is, its development would be forever and hopelessly deficient.
The world principle of All-Unity, the Dionysian aspect of the cosmos, actively resists such a phenomenon, forcing beings to interact with one another and to exchange energy whether they desire it or not.
To make such exchange mandatory, the principle of predation and a world hierarchy of predators arose. Thus, predators are as necessary to the world-process as their “victims”; without predators the world would become a set of completely closed systems, the development of which, beyond a certain stage, would become meaningless.
In turn, the hierarchy of predators needs a mechanism that causes loss of power in other beings, since they are originally closed and separated from one another.
Such a mechanism took the form of parasites of the mind, forcing any mind to function inefficiently, and thus lose power.
But such a system, intended to ensure the circulation of Power, its living current, readily loses its balance and turns into a situation where losses of Power begin to outweigh its generation.
That system ceases to be normal. In fact, it turns out that the world has entered a state of mutual consumption, traditionally called the fall.
We will not analyze now the causes and mechanisms of this fall, but will speak of its consequences.
Summing up the foregoing, one can say that the mind loses Power in proportion to its disharmony.
But what mind would willingly construct an inherently vicious system? Clearly, in order to make a mind work for it, the parasite of the mind must create the impression of harmony and order, which, in fact, are not. Then the deceived mind will believe that it is functioning well and developing, while in reality it nourishes parasites and predators.
In other words, the mind must be “calmed,” and inherently disharmonious elements implanted in it, well disguised.
Such “holes” in awareness, causing it to lose Power, are traditionally called destructors.
The Magi long ago noticed that a whole range of beliefs and concepts within the human picture of the world actually make the mind weak and ineffective.
Moreover, these elements are usually presented as axiomatic, and the very thought of doubting them seems heretical. They are usually not even spoken of; they are implied, taken as self-evident.
The more dogmatic a mind is, the more destructors it contains, the less effective it becomes, and the more parasites and predators feed at its expense.
It turns out that the sole task of these “key” elements of the human picture of the world is to make it internally disharmonious, ineffective, and contradictory, and therefore to make its bearer a victim. A distinguishing feature of destructors is that, on close inspection, they prove to be unconnected to the rest of the mind’s system — not derived from it.
People accustomed to being food for parasites and predators are extremely reluctant to give up destructors, for their “masters” will not allow them to take even a step toward freedom, and these same people actively resist the eradication of destructors from other people’s minds.
By destroying stereotypes, leaving no stone unturned of explanations such as “this is so because that is the way the world is! (followed by a knowing roll of the eyes)” and arguments like “well, if one were to doubt that!… (followed by a meaningful pause),” the Magus gradually frees himself from the destructors that enslave his mind and learns to reduce power losses.

What you call “distractors” we have started to call “implants.” After removing these “things,” a person really experiences a decrease in energy loss/drain. The article describes very well the areas where efforts need to be applied in order to establish oneself in the World in a new status (with an increased level of Personal Energy/Power).
Please provide examples of dogmas that cause disharmony.
Most distractors are in the field of interpersonal relationships. A simple example: “If he (she) doesn’t call me, I won’t call him (her) either” – a typical distractor 🙂 All distractors are based on some significant idea, which, slightly distorted, turns into its opposite.
But on a larger scale? What representations of the world picture make consciousness weak? Please give me a substantial lead so I can develop this further myself? I mean an example of the distortion of some important idea….
Okay. An important idea: “everyone will die.” The distractor (as consciousness understands it): “everyone will die, except for me.” Understanding the first idea strengthens, while the second weakens.
Well, accepting the first idea is somehow uninspiring :)))) but if you are talking about physical death, but not spiritual, then I completely agree 🙂
I am talking about death. Just about death. Not about “physical” or “spiritual”, but about DEATH.
Thank you 🙂 You made me feel like a dogmatist ))))))
We spend half our lives tumbling without a body, that is, dead… when we sleep))) We all have colossal experience in this area) In “real” death, there is also nothing unusual – traffic accidents, head-on collisions, for example, time slows down a bit before, and you might even have a calm thought like “well, that’s it” and bam, darkness covers you. And then, ta-da!!! You swiftly and voicelessly, cursing, plunge again from the shining spheres into the ever-darkening boggy embraces of the beloved muck that is the muck of Mukhonislav))) Well, where to go from the underwater wheel of the wheel of samsara, which “does indeed spin”?))) Why do infants cry so desperately? Right – from hopeless grief))) IMHO))) Is this a distractor?
A distractor is the equal sign between sleep and death. Sleep is analogous (but still not identical) to dying, but not to death. And birth is the birth of a new person, not just a “rebirth” of the former.
And what if a strong fear emerges upon identifying a distractor. What does fear mean and what should be done with it?
Fear is a reaction to the unknown. Therefore – close your eyes and step forward 🙂
Tell me, does it make sense to replace the distractor “everyone will die except me” with “I can die at any moment”?
If this is not just a word replacement but an idea replacement, then such a replacement can be productive, although it may also be paralyzing – after all, if “I can die at any moment,” then why do anything, strive for anything. Therefore, it’s better to rephrase “I can die at any moment” as: “any minute could be the last, so I need to take from it the maximum of what it can provide.”
Thank you very much for the information; now I won’t make such a mistake.
Thank you! I noticed that such a step gives the feeling of moving from the new to the new. It’s like a little death, which is why such a transition always has a threshold of fear that must be crossed. After all, the fear of death is the strongest, maybe even the most basic of fears: the fear of losing control.
How to identify your distractors? What should you pay attention to? How to see your masked disharmonious elements?
Pay attention to what deprives you of freedom.
I would like to know your understanding of such an expression as “freedom.”
Freedom is the independence of choice.
It seems I understand. If the idea (which is suggested to a person to believe in and somehow make decisions and organize life around it) is generously spread with sweet cream and glaze (that is, believing in it is so pleasant, you can immediately relax, and the fact that many also believe seemingly helps convince oneself that yes, everything is really that tasty) – this is a distractor. And an idea that gives strength keeps a person in tone.
An excellent way to recognize and eliminate distractors is the path of the stalker described by Castaneda. The main techniques are recapitulation, fighting with the sense of one’s own importance, and death as an advisor.
In my opinion, since detractors mostly arise from human interaction, one must consciously avoid human communication, becoming somewhat of an outcast and cynic, completely refraining from analysis and not thinking that everything is good or bad, but instead training oneself to stop the mind everywhere, even in crowded places, even if one gets a headache or cannot fall asleep.
I knew that sooner or later I would have to read and learn all of this… this is the last article among all those that interested me… May the Light be with you.
Hello. First, I will quote from this article: ‘And this, in turn, would mean that from an early stage of its development, any consciousness would be relatively self-sufficient, independent, and SEPARATE from other such evolving systems…’ And here I have a fundamental question – Why do you believe that a self-sufficient being must be SEPARATE from others? Can’t it interact with all of them using all its tools of consciousness, so to speak, its power of awareness?
Hello. https://enmerkar.com/en/myth/individuality-and-separateness https://enmerkar.com/en/way/the-great-god-pan-overcoming-separateness
Good day! I have a similar question; your articles that you link to, in my opinion, leave room for thought.
If in each of the Monads, and in a person as a manifestation of a monad, there is the power of connection, then why is there a need for additional stimulus for exchange and interaction through parasites and predators? After all, different aspects of the Great Spirit remember their state before ‘birth’ and have an inherent drive toward unity.
If you allow, I have a few questions about the supreme predator and the main parasite.
In your opinion, what is their original nature and the primary cause of their emergence?
Hypothetical versions that come to mind:
– The process of differentiation and the emergence of multiplicities inflicted “birth pain” on individual consciousnesses. Some myths designate this as the primary cause, though limiting it only to the fact of embodiment in a human body, and the forgetting of the connection with God. Let me clarify, this is different from the idea of the fall in Christianity. Could such a primary cause have entered individual consciousnesses precisely at the moment of primordial creation and differentiation, long before consciousness gained earthly experience? Thus, the parasite of consciousness was born.
– The parasite formed as a byproduct of differentiating consciousnesses in the form of bits of energy, like scraps of fabric from a tailor. I understand this sounds somewhat silly.
– The parasite and the Supreme predator – a design of the Great Spirit (or God, the Creator in monotheistic mythologies) as evolutionary service powers. But degeneration occurred; instead of working towards the evolution of consciousness, they became a self-organizing and harmful force.
– One individual consciousness decided to detach from the Great Spirit and initiate its separate creation. The known character you mention, in Christianity, is called the rebellion against God when separating from the Universal flow. Consequently, any parasites and predators are its offspring.
– This force (the predator as macrocosm and the parasite as microcosm) was not present at the beginning of creation, but was brought by a wild wind from another realm, different from our Universe (the primordial chaos before creation, another Universe living under different laws, remnants of a former Universe, reborn during the current creation).
As I felt your personal myth, these “seeds” of evil cannot be removed; it remains to track and cease to nourish them, that is the path to freedom and the cleansing of consciousness.
I read many of your articles about predation and parasitism, but I do not fully understand: is the supreme predator, the main parasite, the parasites and predators – aspects of klippot or a self-sufficient force, even though destructive on the path of consciousness development?
Hello.
Klippot is neither a separate world nor a separate sphere.
If a vessel, while receiving Light, adopts the properties of that Light and becomes a Giver, then this vessel is a Sefira; If the vessel only seeks to receive Light, without adopting its properties, then this vessel is a “shell”, a “klippa“. Thus, klippot is a term designating the “own nature” of vessels, a viewpoint on them as an egoistic component of existence.
In a similar way, the Parasite is the “purely egoistic” aspect of any consciousness, its desire to “live for itself”, which results in an inability to form harmonious connections and leads only to empty dispersions of energy, as the Parasite cannot/does not want to “radiate” it purposefully.
The Supreme predator for the Universe has the same nature and performs the same function as the Lamassu for individual consciousness – it is the sum of all egoistic desires of the Universe.
Thank you for the clear answer.
The question remains about the origin of the egoistic part of consciousness, how it appeared in the Universe – is it a natural part of it or something alien and external that entered and became part of the general consciousness, rooted in it? Somewhere you wrote that it is an inevitable consequence of the division of the Spirit into separate monads. Did I read that correctly? Or are egoistic drives a kind of service function of the Great Spirit, for example, as I mentioned, to stimulate development, but egoism has grown too large?
I would also clarify the moment about the energy that the Parasite dissipates. In one of your articles, you wrote that energy is consumed and sent into non-being. But what about the law of conservation of energy? About dissipation, it is clearer: energy is eaten, and instead of forming a new form and harmonious energy exchange, it is scattered to the wind. The non-being is less clear, is it somewhat like a black hole?
To simplify, where did “pure egoism” come from in the Universe, where does the energy go that is absorbed by the “Egoistically-oriented”, do such consciousnesses have any motives beyond mere maintenance of their own lives?

New Age explains the nature of the Ego – as the illusion of separation from the Creator, the forgetting of consciousness about its nature of Light. And the entities that serve the Ego are victims of such an illusion. Does this resonate with your myth?
Thank you, before asking the question, I read all those articles to which you provided links. If the force of differentiation (individuality) and the force of unity (love), active and passive principles, are aimed at merging without mixing, that is, at mutual reflection, balancing and mutual penetration, then why is there such a force as Nahash and all that it generates in this elegant existence of the Universe? Was it intended by the Great Spirit, or is it a side effect of the highlighting of the Monads? A kind of disease? Why does separation and the very nature of individuality lead to forgetting about the unity of the Great Spirit and starts being considered separate? Where do the roots of obscuration come from? It’s also possible to understand the nature of this when consciousness descends into dense worlds, in our case on Earth. But such a similar illusion of separation besets the existence of higher levels as well.
The essence of the ego is in “geocentricity”. Any system, when it begins to realize itself, inevitably builds this realization on the “repulsion” of everything it does not consider itself, and constructs its worldview based on the connections of “not itself” with “itself”, so that any ego is inevitably the center of its universe. In other words, as the initial stage of self-awareness, separateness is unavoidable. Nahash arises as such a primary force of self-identification, which then “goes insane” and becomes “carried away” by its separateness. However, the system then has a choice – to begin constructing its worldview taking into account the existence of other beings and ultimately reach a feeling of pleroma or Unity in multiplicity, or – “get stuck” in opposition, and become mired in egoism. In other words, our separateness is a “bad habit” that we can overcome, or we can remain its slaves.
Thank you, yes, egoism is a disease of “growth”). Ontologically, the macrocosm reflects the microcosm – from an infantile fusion, then the feeling of separateness and the egoism of a three-year-old, the teenage rebellion, and maturity in unity while preserving uniqueness. However, only a few humans reach maturity 🙂
Thank you, your articles and especially comments resonate strongly with my feelings, which you have so clearly expressed in words!
“The parasite of consciousness must create the illusion of harmony and order, which are not real. Then the deceived consciousness will think it is working well, developing, while in reality – it will be feeding Parasites and Predators.” What happens in the opposite state, consciousness in the whirlwind of chaos? As Castaneda wrote in controlled stupidity? Is there an accumulation of power?
It all depends on the degree of controllability of this stupidity. Order is born from chaos, however, for this there must be a strong will center – spirit, Shiva, Logos.
