People and Demons

Despite the magical myth’s insistence on the independence of the being and the impossibility of external influence without its consent (the microcosmic principle), Magic nevertheless recognises that such permissions are often granted — consciously or not — and, as a result, a person comes under the influence of various external forces.

It is also clear that many of those forces are hostile not only to the person but to the Cosmos as a whole.

We have already noted that losses of Power initiated from outside are caused either by destructive implants in the mind or by the predator’s direct control over the victim’s energy — possession.

Modern quasi‑magical movements, inclined toward psychological interpretations of events, often dismiss the possibility of one being directly devoured by another, treating “demons” as mere allegories.

Nevertheless, Traditional Magic has always included demonology as an important field not only for its ceremonial aspects but also because of the frequent need to defend.

Indeed, a careful look around shows that Qliphothic beings affect our world far more actively than is commonly recognised.

It is also quite common for them, through deception, to seize the minds of free beings.

It is not uncommon for people to give themselves over to predators (“sell their soul”), expecting reward or aid.

Besides the colossal losses of Power these phenomena cause, they carry another danger: a person who has given their life-force to a Demon, at the end of their incarnation, becomes a demon, since the bond established between predator and victim unites their energies.

There are many legends of people taken captive by Demons and turned into life‑eaters. For example, the famous Servants of Astaroth, it is said, were once human — children, innocent and clear‑minded — and the Demon managed to seduce them, drain their life, and force them to accompany him forever in his wanderings through the worlds.

No less well known are the legends of the Sumerian priest Dudu, who participated in the forging of the Sword of Nergal, became trapped in the Interworld, was seduced by Lilith and likewise for many years was transformed into a demonic utukku.

Since a person, as a free being, has the ability to draw Power from the Great Flow (which Demons lack), their union with a Demon leads to the latter acquiring an almost unlimited source of sustenance, and, of course, the Demon is extremely reluctant to release its quarry. The person is reduced to an appendage, supplying energy to a being with a stronger will, while the person’s own will is weakened to a dangerously low level.

The chief sign that a person is under the sway of a Qliphothic predator is the complete loss of the ability to love. Because the Qliphoth represents the extreme degree of fragmentation, these forces categorically oppose any forces of attraction — any manifestations of love and Eros. Nevertheless, love is replaced by active sexuality, so characteristic of the Qliphoth and, in essence, one of the modes of consumption.

Therefore the devaluation of love as a virtue, so widespread today, is a very convenient way to conceal the extent of people being consumed — passing off the absence of love as a natural phenomenon, even as a virtue to be proud of.

Every person who feels the fading of the ability to love in their heart must understand that this “shard of the troll’s mirror” can very well indicate that a predator is preying on them.

  1. Are there people who are not gnawed at by predators? (a question based on the last paragraph)

    • If we talk about predators in general – then no, there are no such people; if we talk about a specific way of “gnawing away” – then not all people give their life energy to the forces of klippot in large quantities. And in the last paragraph, it was precisely about such a method of “gnawing away” – a specific kind of predators and on significant scales.

  2. I have it so that I feed demons, predators, with the power of love that passes through me. Because of this, demons evolve.

  3. At this point in time, I am studying the topic of demons—I am looking for literature, people who have had similar experiences. Since I am currently relying only on my own experience, intuition, and vision. Based on this, I noticed that everything around me, when I am in certain states of consciousness, feeds on the power of love that passes through me. And this power affects everyone differently, but the essence remains the same—evolution, a transition to a higher level of development. This includes demons— the particle of light that they can hold transforms them, and over millennia they transmute, purify, and can embody in the human body. Since humans are freer, they aspire to be free and willful—there is also a moment of learning for humans to be free and distribute energies and wholeness. Demons, like everyone else, strive for the possession of luminosity—the power and energy, and the particle of the God of love, and in humans, this is in abundance compared to other inhabitants of the cosmos. By consuming luminosity through humans, they fill their worlds with power, and they live, and their inhabitants also evolve. And only through humans can they become free. In every human, there are demons; they are indeed important and needed, and it is significant to learn to track them, understand the meaning of their presence, and manage them with the power of love and nothing else. Possession by demons occurs due to significant mistakes made by a person; something needs to be corrected for them to heal so that the person’s spirit governs the demons. P.S. My creativity, if interesting:)) (http://live111.livejournal.com/)

  4. to: Oksana Your point of view is interesting and somewhat unconventional… some things resonate with my observations. If it’s not a secret—how long have you practiced communicating with “demons” in the way you described?

  5. Thank you) It has been seven years since I became aware of what I wrote, and the so-called “practice” is a byproduct of other practices related to self-knowledge and the construction of the cosmos.

  6. to: Oksana Seven years—now that is a period:)) I wish you favorable winds and good luck. P.S. I also have somewhat more sympathy for demons than the esteemed Enmerkar does:)

    • Like any magician with significant goetic experience, I indeed relate to demons without any romance. Not because I consider them “evil,” “dark,” etc., but because my experience shows that they are hungry predators willing to employ a miraculous amount of ingenuity, agility, and deception for sustenance; moreover, they are predators that have chosen such a method of feeding—extracting energy from other beings, and they extract it greedily and ruthlessly.

  7. And I have a distaste for people—they are greedy, proud, unable to see beyond their noses, lazy, envious, destroying their kind without any reason… and they have chosen such a path themselves. At the same time, among them, there are completely different people… So in the” lower Worlds” probably not all inhabitants will correspond to the characteristic of “just a hungry predator”. I do not in the least diminish the danger of contact between Man and Demon. Yes, it is dangerous. But there seem to be exceptions when a man is not quite a Man, and a Demon is not such a Demon after all…—then cooperation may be possible. At the same time, I will agree again with your opinion about the “miracles of ingenuity” and “ruthless energy extraction”—yes, that is often the case.

    • It seems that we are simply arguing over words and speaking about different demons. If we call any inhabitants of the Lower worlds “demons,” then of course you are right—among them, there are not only obligatory predators. But the Magical tradition names demons not all whose worlds are in the Flow “below” human, but those who enact the Descending Flow. And by definition, among them, there cannot be any “ready to collaborate”. It is their insatiable hunger that drives the Force Flow to strive downward, through all, including our worlds. Hunger and insatiability are in their nature, just as in angels’ nature is to hinder the Descending Flow. And if suddenly demons decided to “change,” the Force Flow would simply stop.

  8. And we return to the idea that everything in the world strives for harmony and balance. And we argue about the nature of things from the perspective of the duality of the World. And it is all simple—you make a choice, and with due courage and honesty towards yourself, you follow that choice. You chose “to consume,” “to be consumed,” or to be free. Something tells me that there is no such freedom of choice for anyone as there is for a human.

  9. Thank you for clarifying the terminology:) Indeed—the main problem of communication is the agreement on terms. Another question—”those enacting the Descending flow” and “those engaged in Destruction” are not the same thing, are they?

    • These are descriptions from different points of view. From a cosmological perspective, they are a necessary part of the cosmos, enacting the Descent of Force; but from the perspective of the inhabitants of worlds, their activities are destructive.

  10. Could you touch upon the difference between the descending flow of demons and the involution of angels?

    • Angels ensure involution – they regulate the Flow of Power, preventing its descent, ‘fall’, or absorption by the lower worlds. This is involution – a slow, gradual descent of Light. Demons, on the contrary, ‘attract’ Power by their hunger, ensuring the very possibility of the movement of Power downwards. Thus, these two hierarchies balance and complement each other.

      • Unfortunately, the blog does not open free space for comments, so I write here. It is warmer here.
I caught myself thinking that when I choose words to explain something to anyone, I began to think about the interpretation in order not to enhance the demonic in people. My vision of the dark on the consciousness is not very pleasing. Now I understand you, En.

  11. Since we are on the topic of angels… I’m interested; there are grimoires specifically aimed at working with Angels (for example, the same Heptameron). Naturally, working with them is quite different in its Essence, although it is largely similar in Form. How do you assess this aspect of magic? Again, there are Olympian Spirits and Planetary Geniuses with which work is extremely difficult to call Goetic… It would be great if you could write something on this topic in your blog.

  12. “I sometimes find it amusing when you pour more energy into a demon than it can handle, and it transforms into an angel ;-)”

  13. A demon can grant the power of awareness in exchange for the force of life, within the framework of a competitive ritual. It can grant the force of life, if we can call it life, and accordingly, awareness for the life of the Servant of Astaroth.

  14. What about physical strength? And generally, how strongly does a demon influence a person?

  15. The demon can grant physical strength to a person in the framework of manifesting ‘its’ attributes, qualities, and power in the Macrocosm. A person is utilized as an amplifier, a conduit of life, manifestations of possession of ‘its’ attributes, qualities. The demon influences the person in the volume, space, time in which the person allocated a place for it in their Psychocosmos.

  16. Hello! Is the obsession with clipotic entities distinct from the obsession with the Spirits of the Copper Jug? A cancerous tumor acts on the body similarly to clipot in relation to consciousness, seizing all its life resources. I’m unsure if such a parallel is appropriate?

    • Strictly speaking, clipotic “black” demons do not have direct access to the consciousness of a person who is in the Great Flow of Power since they are below the Threshold. However, they can create a strong attraction for “sucking” their energy, and for this energy to exit the Sefirot and flow downward, Gates are needed, which are actually the “Gray” spirits – Spirits of the Jug. Therefore, the destructive influence of clipot on consciousness is always mediated through these Gatekeepers.

    • Hello.
      Interesting parallel.
I have come to form a view:
      The organism (body) – consciousness.
      The cancerous tumor – unconsciousness.
      Viruses – spirits of clipot.
      (Viruses can cause cancer.)

      • Theo, cancer – it’s us, beings of Order. There is a certain pact that gives them nourishment. Specifically, they feed on the processed negativity and evil that comes from people. The angrier and more negative people are, the more they will die from cancer. Sorry. Negativity, as you see, increases every day, so it wouldn’t hurt for everyone to ponder their generated thoughts and desires.
P.S. This particularly concerns magicians and those close to the Forces.

        • Hi.
Did you find my funny entry about cancer?
Since then, a lot has been researched about it.
It is maximally interesting and voluminous – from what was written, in digitall-angell’s sections on the Fear Virus.
          ——————–
Regarding cancer, I will say this. It doesn’t only depend on the person. Some benefit from cancer – from inorganic beings. So yes, of course – the person can influence this with their thoughts and actions. And they “choose” to a large extent. But, unfortunately, even here, the earthly person is just a resource.. And those responsible for this, it seems, have not yet been removed.
..That we, as humanity – are cancer. To a certain extent – yes. It’s true. But the roots here go not to humanity itself. And “this all” did not start with humans.
Another matter is that people here do not know and do not understand this, although they are involved. And this will not be explained for quite some time. Everything is too twisted.

I will not add anything about demons/klippot. My Picture of the World has changed significantly. I operate with different categories. And in many ways, everything is not like that.
I cannot communicate in the language of Kabbalah; everything there is too contradictory.
And there’s no need to express oneself in metaphors. We already know who needed what and why.

(People here almost do not generate their desires. They lack the strength for this. Almost all their desires are controllable, one way or another. Magicians are a different matter. That is true.)

  17. Hello, Master! Tell me, what is the truth from the perspective of your myth? And why does it seem to be so disliked by the horned ones?

  18. Hello, is the information about Dudu and the servants of Astaroth a translation or is it written like that in legends? Where does the information come from, and what can be read about this?

  19. You also refer to ‘demonic utukku’ as something bad. It’s interesting what is wrong with being a demonic utukku from the perspective of a demonic utukku?
