Quantum Entanglement and the Causal Plane

We have already noted that, both in modern physics and in the Magical tradition, two objects that have interacted once remain connected indefinitely, regardless of the distance between them.

Physics calls such a connection “quantum entanglement”, explaining that any interaction disrupts “quantum superposition”, introducing an element of certainty into both interacting particles; in quantum physics, the process of “measuring” a property is identical to the process of “creating” that property. Specifically, the very fact of any interaction is a kind of “observation” that singles out, from the range of indeterminate potentials, a certain “reality” that becomes common to both systems.

Tradition says roughly the same thing, calling the world a product of description, and insisting that the creation of any object occurs in the process of its “naming” — that is, by describing it. From this point of view, description is the “embodiment” of a particular logos, the establishment of a connection between certain potencies of the medium and their “ideas”, the creation of duality, a potential difference between perceiver and perceived, that is, endowing possibilities with energy, the translation of potencies into reality.

At the same time, from the standpoint of Tradition, the bearer of “memory” of any interaction is an “imprint”, reshimo: any interaction is energy, an action; it, like all phenomena, has its own “model” — “Me”, which, after the interaction ends, naturally does not disappear (by the law of conservation of energy), but passes into a latent state and “imprints”, creates reshimo.

Namely, any system “remembers” all interactions into which it or its components have entered. At the same time, the system of reshimot, like the totality of logoi, is built hierarchically, so the imprints of each lower-level state of the system are “included” in the imprints of a higher level in such a way that at any moment in time one can speak of the universal “reshimo” of the universe, which includes (and can be decomposed into) infinite sets of “memories”. That is, the “memory” of the universe is not a “library”, not a “set” of “records” or “imprints” — but a single hierarchical system, built in the same way as the World Medium, and being one of the forms of its manifestation.

Such a level of existence has recently been called the “causal plane” (from the Latin causalis — causality), and, as is easy to understand, it is not some kind of “separate” reality or separate “world”, but only one perspective on a single reality.

At the same time, the same reasoning applies to the changes in any system over time over time. In this sense, the entire time of existence of any system can be represented as an “entangled history”, in which any of its previous states correlates with earlier states, and vice versa — the measurement of any given state determines the subsequent course.

In other words, the more precisely the “measurement instrument” is tuned to a given state of the system, the higher their “entanglement”, the more strongly the state of one participant in the interaction reflects (and is reflected by) the state of the other. The better the state of the system at a given moment is described, realized, and named — the more definite its “fate” is thereafter, and vice versa — the more “virtual” the description is, the less structured it is, the more variable the flow of probabilities.

From what has been said, a number of important practical conclusions can be drawn:

  • first, the more “rooted” in reality the mind is, the more structured and orderly it is, the higher its creative potential, the more accurately it matches flows of probabilities with scenarios (Me), and the more predictable (and safe) the world becomes;
  • second, it is clear that certain scenarios, leaving imprints of themselves in the unified causal field, tend to repeat if there is energy suitable for their realization. This fact, as we said, lies at the basis of the cycle of the world and the law of “karma”;
  • third, any description of a system or prediction of its further behavior is simultaneously an act of influence, changing the distribution of probabilities and the “scenarios” of its existence;
  • fourth, an influence on one component of an “entangled” pair simultaneously and inevitably affects the second component. This is what, as we have repeatedly noted, contagious magic is based on.
  • fifth, by selecting instruments of observation, description, and “measurement” of a system that are capable of forming “strongly entangled” systems with it, one can, with high probability, predict this system’s behavior.

Such “easily entangled” instruments include various predictive, divinatory systems — Tarot, Runes, I Ching, and others.

Therefore, to the question of who exactly is the Oracle in these systems — some spirit, demon, god, or the operator themselves — the answer will be: “no one”. An Oracle is such a system which, for the duration of the divinatory act, is capable of “entangling” with the system being studied, “flowing into” its causal plane so that reading one of the components of such a “pair” is simultaneously a “reading” of the second as well.

But in order to carry out such a “weaving-in”, a Predictor is needed, who, with their energy, “collides” two systems and “entangles” them.

Thus it is clear that the operator of a divinatory machine is not required to “sell their soul to the devil” or be born of a special “whispering granny”; they only need to ensure the contact of the systems and then have good skill and developed intuition to read the resulting reflection. In this sense, “fortune-telling” with special instruments is fundamentally different from “clairvoyance” or other techniques of “direct reading”, since in the latter case the “system being entangled” is the seer themselves, and, consequently, high receptivity, passivity, and suggestibility is required of them, which can be regarded both as a special gift and as a kind of “curse”.

Considering the universe from such a causal position, one can not only understand many mechanisms that lie at the basis of “magical” actions and processes, but also develop effective ways of interacting with reality, without leaving a significant ‘karmic trace’, i.e., not entangling chains of incarnation of a given stream of mind with too great a number of aggravating and enslaving factors.

  1. Divination is personally less interesting to me. If I may, a question about Scripts, Band-Runes. If the script is aimed at a specific outcome – it seems to confuse and create connections. The connections are strong (energy-saturated). Essentially, it either results in itself or is part of the process leading to the outcome. If that is the case, then it is unclear how to achieve a result without creating a connection. How to develop the most effective ways to interact? And how to evaluate the effectiveness itself? After all, the fact that it worked is not a criterion.

    • Rune-script is an implementable scenario; it must activate a set of potential models/me within the Environment. The driving force here is the energy of Inspiration (water), which ‘attaches’ the Runic vector to the activated scenario and thus ‘manifests’ it. In other words, Runic magic is always a product of inspiration; if there is enough of it, then the realization will be effective.

  2. Enmerkar, enough with the quantum physics analogies; it’s nonsense. All quantum physics is fake, remember that; it is promoted by Freemasons and their lackeys to explain the workings of the world, all of it is factually unprovable, all this non-Euclidean geometry. If you don’t believe it, summon demons with the help of Goetia and ask them; they will confirm. It just annoys me, you seem to be a smart guy yet believe in quantum physics.

  3. Is there a difference in what is used in ‘divination’ as a tool – the own body of ‘seers’ or tarot, those who are somehow the ‘operators’ and ensure the contact of systems? I.e., does the accuracy of information reading (creating reality?) ultimately not depend on the strength of the ‘seer’ (‘operator’)?

    • In both cases, developed intuition is required, but for clairvoyance, a special sensitivity is also needed, a kind of gift, which cannot simply be ‘developed’ without the predisposition to it. In other words, while anyone can become a ‘tarologist’ (who puts in enough effort), only those who have the inherent abilities can become clairvoyants. Accordingly, the ability to interpret what is seen also requires both intuition and development.

      • A Seeing person interprets the information seen (meaning the information is distorted through interpretation), while their vision through some source is determined by the level? (purity?) of that source? And if what was seen was drawn through a tool that belongs to a certain egregore (for example, the Tarot egregore), is the information distorted by the egregore? Is pure information entirely inaccessible to people?

        • ‘Pure information’ is just as much an abstraction as pure perception. Any real being is in interdependent relations with the environment, and therefore there is always a result of such interaction.

  4. Hello, Enmerkar. Am I correct in understanding that for an imprint to appear, physical contact of objects is not necessary, and even remote participation in significant events is sufficient?

    • Hello. Theoretically, physical contact is indeed not necessary if there is a possibility of ‘entanglement’ at a distance. However, in practice, such a degree of mutual adjustment that leads to ‘imprinting’ is very difficult to achieve without direct contact.

  5. How possible is it for a Magician to transfer Power to someone willing to accept it through distant mentoring and help in battle?

  6. The article is simply a holiday. Ad perpetranda miracula rei unius. Congratulations.

  7. Hello! Please tell me, how is it determined that the entanglement of the oracle and the system has been successful, and one can begin interpretation?

    • Hello. This is more a question of the correctly chosen instrument. Therefore, for example, different tarot readers choose different decks, feeling ‘kinship’ specifically with a certain symbolic flow, although the very foundation of all decks is the same.
