Quantum Entanglement and Contagious Magic
The notion that the world is essentially, existentially, and ontologically one is a single organism in which every part is closely linked to every other lies at the foundation not only of the Magical but also of a number of other Myths.
At the same time, for the Magus the world is not merely unified in its being: it is a process, a flow in which its separate parts continuously and harmoniously assume a quasi-independent existence and dissolve again into its integrity. For the Magus the world is not an object but a process, as he himself is a process, a flow of being/awareness.
In other words, when we speak of creation, manifestation and the cognition of the world — we mean the same process.
We continuously, without beginning and without end create ourselves and the world with our mind, and this does not mean that the world is merely an illusion; it means that the being of the world and its awareness are two sides of a single process. Moreover, our existence as individual modes of mind is inextricably linked with the existence of the world and energies as particular modes of its being. One might even say that the single reality creates us as an instrument of self-knowledge and the world as the object of that self-knowledge within a single, indivisible process of being/awareness.
For the Magical myth the latter concept is not allegory or metaphor but a concrete fact implying a precise description of the direct process. Once again: to be aware is to realize, to create, and to create is to be aware. Only that which is made aware exists, and the process of awareness is identical to the process of creation. From this perspective, awareness is the selection from the infinite, potential, homogeneous and indistinguishable field of possibilities of a specific manifestation, and bringing that manifestation from the realm of possibility into the domain of concrete actions and interactions.
Viewed this way, karma, recompense, and causal links are expressions of universal interconnection and interdependence, not some “divine” forces. It is also clear that in a unified system it is impossible to perform a local act that affects only part of the system without affecting the whole. The slightest change in any parameter of the system immediately affects the entire cosmos. Thus no action or contact occurs in isolation; each brings with it a vast wake of consequences across all levels of existence.
As mentioned more than once, the expansion of mutual penetration between being and awareness, their integration and mutual dissolution, and their mutual realization can proceed from two sides — either from awareness or from being — which is reflected in two global currents of development: Eastern and Western. Moreover, within the Western Way — the Way of development through action — two modes of such action are distinguished: influence over the Foundation, the Logos, and influence over the interdependent manifestation, the realization. This distinction underlies two main approaches to magic — Nominative and Contagious. The first approach means acting on a process by affecting its causal field, its idea, its Logos; the second implies steering a flow by manipulating a linked, more accessible trigger.
In that sense, the flow a Magus works with can be regarded as a point of leverage for sweeping, avalanche-like change in the cosmos. Naturally, the choice of such a trigger is extremely important, and the method for acting on it must account for all possible branches and side-currents of reality’s alteration. For example, by driving pins into a voodoo doll a sorcerer acts upon the whole world, not only upon the person the doll ostensibly represents, and must be prepared for full responsibility for that action.
In establishing a link between objects, the Magus must also remember that such a link can never be fully severed, and therefore he must anticipate far-reaching consequences of his action.
The ideas of the world’s “unity,” its interconnection and mutual conditioning are not philosophical concepts for the Magus; they are a practical guide for action, concrete guidance on his Way of development. The Magus understands that he is not separable from the world, and this understanding for him is not an ethical principle but the very basis of his existence, the way he views and interacts with the world — interaction with himself. The Magus is a flow among flows, a gaze among gazes, a process among processes. And his self-awareness, self-identification and self-realization are at once an unfolding psychocosmic and macrocosmic process, a Way of becoming and a self-knowledge of the universality of reality that transcends the notion of reality.

A correct expression… I picked a flower, and a star trembled.
I wanted to add my two cents, but someone said it better. Here’s a quote: “My consciousness worked completely differently than before. It embraced everything all at once, for it had no concept of time or distance. A television. I mentally pictured an old broken television from my apartment. And I saw it from all sides at once. I knew everything about it from somewhere. As well as where it was constructed. I knew where the ore was mined, from which the metals used in the construction were melted. I knew which steelworker did this. I knew he was married, that he had problems with his mother-in-law. And I precisely knew which part was broken. Then, when I was resuscitated, that T-350 transistor was replaced, and the television worked… There was a sense of omnipotence of thought. I realized that I was being led by Someone omnipresent, who had no bounds. And He possessed unlimited capabilities, was omnipotent and full of love. I understood that it was He who was showing me phenomena and problems in the whole causal chain. And I knew that this was God”… And so on.
How does magic explain the principle of uncertainty of Heisenberg and the Pauli principle?
Magic is unlikely to need to explain these principles. 🙂 ….. I can tell you a fairy tale (if the author allows))… Somewhere between the eschatons and leptons, there are several stable layers with microparticles of different sizes, termed “microleptons” by one professor. No one has yet managed to catch them and observe them. These particles are many orders of magnitude smaller than atoms, and from the Heisenberg principle, the smaller the particle, the smaller the probability of its presence in a given point of space. Microleptons, as components of all molecular compounds, exist as field formations around objects. One professor created a device capable of photographing microlon fields, displaying them on film in the form of light. Thus, auras are photographed, for example. The smaller the particles, the farther they spread – hundreds, thousands of kilometers – while remaining an integral part of the source emitting them. – Thus thoughts are transmitted over huge distances – thus a person feels whom they love and can precisely describe their state…
Recently you mentioned the special sensitivity of shamans, and that they feel with their bodies. Based on this fairy tale, can what shamans feel be registered by any person? The particles are the same for all.
It is evident that a ping-pong ball is the same for everyone, yet not everyone can masterfully send it to the neighboring field, which is the same for all, with a racket, which is the same for everyone.
There is no need, of course. But it seems like she is also not capable of doing it. As well as much else. And your storyteller doesn’t know what the Heisenberg principle is and uses the phrase ‘much smaller’ for objects that lack geometric size, as the degree of localization depends on the energetic state. Moreover, he should know that so-called elementary particles are merely models for describing experimental data and are by no means particles. The professor created nothing, since there are no microleptons, and auras are formed by prana currents. Thoughts are not transmitted over distance, as geometric distance is a product of someone’s worldview. And how to relate to those who are limited to love for only one or a few and cannot love all?
Magic is not a way to explain anything at all, much less physical concepts and notions. Magic is the Path of action, the Path of self-knowledge and self-development. It is wonderful if someone’s consciousness develops in the knowledge of science. It is great if someone’s consciousness expands through art. Magic is where consciousness transcends its boundaries, and it doesn’t matter what we call it. In some cases, there are analogies between Magical and scientific Myths, in other cases – these analogies are not visible, but that is not important; what is important is for each Myth to be internally consistent and self-coherent, and to have specific practical consequences. And both of these Myths – the scientific and the Magical – are whole and consistent, and have consequences in the form of concrete images and lifestyles. And who finds which style suitable – each decides for themselves.
I’m curious, what does prana represent in the scientific myth, and of which known particles does it consist?
Well, prana cannot consist of particles at all; it is some kind of electromagnetic or gravitational interaction, in my humble opinion. Twisting fields to esoteric sites, in connection with subtle energies.
There is no need, of course. But it seems that it is also incapable of doing this. As well as much else. And your storyteller does not know what the Heisenberg principle is and uses the expression ‘much smaller’ for objects that have no geometric size, as the degree of localization depends on the energetic state. And even more so, he should know that the so-called elementary particles are merely models for describing the experimental data and are by no means particles. The professor created nothing, as there are no microleptons, and auras are formed by prana currents. Thoughts are not transmitted across distances, as geometric distance is a product of someone’s worldview. And how to relate to those who are limited by love for one or several, and cannot love all?
What about the idea that everything is reflections and our world is just a reflection? The so-called shadow in the shadow and our thoughts and ideas are just shadows?
Any idea filled with E becomes a myth (reality). From this arises the second question: how do changes in the myth affect the primordial Myth created by the Creator from which the beginnings arise?
I wrote a question about karma in one of your articles. But then it all got emotional… So here is an article directly about karma. As I understand it, if karma is essentially a reaction to a series of events, where the more emotionally, i.e., energetically bright and strong events form the subsequent event line, then on one hand, the balancing of all events leads to stagnation, and on the other hand, the extraction of specific necessary ones from the balanced line leads to the formation of the needed event line (well, it’s hard without tautology). I want to ask, if the event line is arranged in a certain order by strength, i.e., not fixating on one thing but forming a certain fraction or canvas, is this possible? Well, I am not a magician, I do not understand a lot, but logically it should work. If it works on one fraction, then why not create a canvas? Clearly, this is on the condition of having the strength to hold the picture in the desired form at least temporarily.
