Self-Identification

identification

In order to carry out “cosmization”, to bring order to one’s mind, one must first clearly separate the essential components of the mind from alien elements that permeate the Psychocosmos.

The main problem encountered on this road is the need to develop a set of criteria by which such selection will be made, complicated further by the fact that each personality currently dominant in a person’s mind, even at the earliest stages of its formation, already includes a large number of both essential and foreign elements.

A widely held view is that attributing the errors and delusions that arise in the mind to “demons“, “predators” and “parasites” removes some responsibility from the personality, and therefore is a sign of weakness and an attempt to excuse oneself. In truth, this is not always so. Of course, one can declare: “That wasn’t me, I was forced to act this way,” and play the innocent victim of hostile plots. But the key idea of the Magical myth is the categorical assertion that the mind, endowed with free will, cannot be compelled to anything unless it gives its consent, and we have already said more than once that very often the mind willingly agrees to be deceived.

But precisely here lies the path to the purification of the mind.

It is at the moment when the mind decides to include an alien element within itself that it sees that element most clearly, even though later it will pretend that it had nothing to do with it.

In other words, it is easiest and most convenient to “catch” a destructor at the phase of its implantation into the mind — in the process of the mind’s transformations and restructuring, in shifts of subpersonalities or when the mind moves to a new level (for example, during contemplation, summoning, or the search for a Power Animal). Various “hunts” in the mind are aimed at precisely this, such as the cyclic rites of the Kol.

When the mind is more or less stable, and it would be inadvisable to destabilize it for certain reasons, one must search manually, painstakingly and attentively sifting through the key ideas that underlie the personality and questioning their essential nature, to accept or reject them later.

There are two convenient criteria that allow one to identify an element of the mind as one’s own or as alien. One concerns intelligence, the other concerns feelings, and questioning both principles makes it possible, with a high degree of accuracy, to determine whether habitual ideas, models, and schemes by which the mind operates are either effective and genuinely one’s own or ineffective and “corrupted.”

First, a “foreign” element is inherently dissonant, and in order to hide that dissonance it requires strong protection and camouflage. This means that one should suspect an element is alien that requires defense and justification. If the mind keeps telling itself “I need this, this is good,” it may very well turn out that what it insists on is actually unnecessary and harmful, because what is truly needed and good brings a sense of inner comfort and harmony. Only if the mind is severely damaged by destructive forces will its own elements provoke anxiety and a longing for their original nature.

The second criterion is the capacity for love. Since all destructive elements are manifestations of the fragmentation of the cosmos, the key sign of “demonic” nature is the denial of the essential unity of being, of which love is the manifestation. Accordingly, the test to which an analyzed element of the mind must be subjected is an attempt to understand — or more precisely, to feel — whether that component fosters or obstructs love.

Thus, by subjecting itself to analysis by intellect and feeling, the mind asserts its right to govern the Psychocosmos, removing usurpers who force it to function inefficiently, and thereby takes the path of growth and development, the path of self-realization.

  1. The second criterion is clear – this compass will not deceive, but with the first… 0 about those in need of protection and justification is also clear. Stuck: ‘At that moment when consciousness decides to include a foreign element in its composition, it sees this element most clearly, although later it pretends that it is not involved’ – numen, does that mean my consciousness is not that universal?))) If it were so, it would be vigilant and see outsiders at the entrance. Instead, everything dresses up in the clothes of naivety, ‘as usual’ and so on.

    • Try to provoke ‘outsiders’ to show emotions. It’s easier to determine whether someone is an outsider or one of your own based on that.

  2. When a person understands their life task as the elevation of spirit and overcoming evil, they willingly engage with the parasites within themselves. But there are not many like that. What to do with the unself-aware consumer biomass, since they need nothing apart from bread and spectacles until the end of their days. Someone like V. Sinelnikov proposes simply to withdraw from communication with them, to cleanse, so to speak, one’s own space – but they exist and will. And they are precisely the ones who determine our slide into entropy. Somewhere the key has been lost. Perhaps the magician knows?

    • As I understand, setting order within is the minimum task. What does the Magician need Power for? Certainly not to withdraw. I have a feeling that things are changing, and the ‘consumer biomass’ is decreasing; everyone has already had their fill of jeans and Pepsi-Cola. I imagine a time when challenges like ‘finding your Path’, ‘identifying yourself’, and other amazing things will be taught in schools.

    • Of course, ‘they exist and will exist’. The question is, who will leave whom.

    • Try these keys.
Each element of biomass has its own face while in mass and does not show itself. Alone, it will reveal itself.
A bread maker gives strength to the one who eats. A presenter shows the viewer how to behave.
Everyone can bake bread and present a spectacle.

    • Many find it difficult to analyze themselves with reason and feelings while being in the thick of the World. Hermits retreat from the World to secluded places and gather Strength there until they reach a certain concentration of it. This is a period of complete solitude. And when Strength appears – pilgrims and laypeople start to come to the hermits with their problems, and each visitor is accepted by the hermit as another lesson, another chance to become stronger and hone their skills, increasing Strength.

  3. It is originally universal, just like all of humanity)). The trouble is that without controlling one’s desires and turning them into whims, everything can be distorted. There is a special art in finding the line. A rare quality is finding a person capable of not being afraid to reveal themselves, to draw out from the depths of their soul the fire of revelation and, by communicating with it, sharing pure sparks, you feel a hot whirlwind arising in your head… the fire of pure strength and purity. This is wonderful).

  4. The last two texts evoke so many emotions. And something needs to be done about it. ?? Off-topic, I took my letter to Ded Moroz, I wanted to see what desires, what needs, and what whims are there. I read it again – yes, all about the main thing, and immediately remembered a bunch of wishes for which there was not enough space at the moment of writing—about a car, about beads, about tulips in Istanbul. Strange, but wishes for things and events that are generally unnecessary doesn’t seem to me whims.

    • In general, can this self-identification be done quietly just with oneself? Or is it still necessary to have someone who will reflect back?

  5. I see the Mag’s task as pulling promising individuals out of the rut and working with them, not instructing and pointing, but constantly asking questions that can give a push to Consciousness.

  6. Sometimes the parasite of awareness produces a significant amount of doubts, bringing not only arguments but also feelings in favor of keeping the ‘foreign element.’ In this case, it is very good to use the very FIRST perception of the ‘foreign element’ that is stored in memory (the first encounter with it, when the assessment was intuitively unbiased).

And finally, in a number of cases, when the oscillations drag on for too long, one should decisively cut off the excess without thinking about the consequences. If harmony is restored in the process, then you were right. 🙂

  7. My assistant is the element. My friend is another form of consciousness. My spear is the intention. My truth is my tears. My strike is the Light. My territory is the Star.

  8. I wanted to thank you for the concept of “Psychocosmos.” I have been reading you for a long time, but only recently understood what psychocosmos is and how we are not the only inhabitants of our consciousness.

  9. Hello Enmerkar!
Could arrogance be such a distractor? If so, can I read somewhere about this feeling? Arrogance does not lead to love, quite the opposite, but it seems it can be useful as a protection against unwanted connections?
