Fairies: Transformations in the Interworld

We have already discussed that the palaeohistory preserved by the traditional schools of magic clearly indicates the “secondary” nature of humanity as we know it on both Lands.

The first “people” who inhabited those worlds long before us are today called the Magical People — “Tilvit Teg” or the Fairies.

We have already discussed that many “races” and “peoples” of the Fairies are known, but they all belong to two great Courts — the Beneficent (children of the Bright Goddess — Danu) and the Baneful (descendants of the Dark Mother — Domnu).

Only echoes of the vast and rich history of proto-humanity have reached us — with its periods of peace and war, invasions and assimilations — but the real shock for the fairies was the arrival of the people called Homo (or, in this context, the “Sons of Mil” or the goidels) — the ancestors of modern humanity.

Not only did humans divide the Earth into the worlds of Geb and Erd, introducing a schism into the established life of the fairies, but on the latter Land they made life for the Magical People unbearable, flooding it with unnatural products and poisoning it with their greed and consumerism.

Like all “ancient-aristocratic” houses, the fairies at first observed the bustle and scurrying of the goidels with haughty disdain, but when people and the products of their activities became too numerous, they realized the danger, put aside their own disputes, and tried to drive out the “Sons of Mil.” They failed, however, encountering humanity’s deep roots in matter, which proved resistant to the influences of energy-oriented proto-peoples.

Thus, sometime in the last centuries “before our era” the Great Exodus of the fairies began — almost all their peoples and races agreed to leave Erd and relocate — partly to the land of Geb, but largely to the Interworld.

The Exodus lasted almost a thousand years and ended around the 4th–5th centuries CE, and subsequent contacts between humans and fairies occurred only sporadically, as inhabitants of the Sid “visited” the Lands.

With advanced ‘alv’ magic, the fairies managed to appropriate significant stretches of the Interworld, building their ‘Magical Country’ there (the Sid). Most of them settled in the “cities” of the Elementals, serving their development and transformation, while other groups built their own towns and settlements.

At the same time, a significant portion of the lower fairies of the Baneful Court and a small number of the Children of Danu scattered across the Interworld and were partially assimilated into it.

As a result, by the present day, besides the “ordinary” fairies of both Courts, a great number of “mixed” peoples have arisen, and beings have also who have changed their “status” — having blended with elementals, elementaries, Epiklets and even Rephaim, taking on their nature.

However, almost all the fairies who moved into the Interworld faced the Interworld’s main problem — its instability and energy depletion — which not only brought them together in the search for and extraction of resources.

Only the “divine” Sids are able to draw life energy directly from the Great Flow and distribute it among the more “lower-born” fairies. Most inhabitants of the Sid, however, suffer a constant lack of pneuma, and so many do not hesitate to raid and steal energy either from the Elementers or from the Worlds, often following the predatory utukku and the pretas.

We have already discussed that the Enochian angels acted similarly; many of them were fairies who had joined the Epiklets.

In any case, adaptation to the meagre conditions of the Interworld forced many members of the Magical People to change their nature, changing both their diet and their feeding strategies. Largely the same fate befell many members of the “second” humanity, who were also trying to survive in the Interworld.

Therefore a contemporary Magus contacting the Magical Peoples should remember that very often their interaction will not be with the wise and playful creatures of fairy tales and lore, but with hungry (and frequently predatory) inhabitants of the Interworld, often already turned into Empty spirits or in the process of such a transformation. For that reason, especially in the the dark half of the year, special care and caution are required during such contacts.

  1. I probably have too many questions at once, well, maybe you’ll answer at least some of them… Can it be that ordinary people see or hear these worlds? Can these beings invade a person’s energetic space or physical body without the person’s consent? I.e., do they exist in the manner of parasitic bodies? And can magicians use these beings in their work as invaders or to cause harm? And if these beings are of human nature, do they also possess free will, and therefore can manipulate those who are of lower status? I.e., do these beings live in the same reality as modern humans and of the same status, just a different race? Can these beings mix with modern people?

    • 1. Yes, that can happen; 2. No, without our consent, no one can do anything to us. Consciousness is a microcosm, a self-perfect system; 3. They can if they deceitfully extract consent; 4. Not quite in the same reality. 5. Yes, such cases are described.

  2. Thank you for the interesting article. Much has become clear to me. Tell me, didn’t they know that there is no energy in the Between Worlds? How did they all leave without checking?! And now, in essence, they are completely degenerating.

    • Apparently, they knew, but made such a decision. The fairies freely visited the Between Worlds even before their departure, thus they were familiar with its features, and probably had time and opportunities to prepare for their relocation.

  3. Wonderful post. Peter, the author clearly writes in his blog that the Between Worlds are expanding, and I agree with him on this. Therefore, there can be no talk of complete degeneration now since the trend is completely opposite.

  4. Can ‘magical peoples’ return to the material plane of our world? Is it possible for the worlds to unite in the manner of merging soap bubbles when the membrane (the Between Worlds) collapses?

  5. I’ve observed these beings a bit. The weaker ones are still until there is free energy. The stronger ones induce terror and feed on fear. A question for the author: can consciousness remain in one of these lower worlds until it is completely devoured?

    • I found the answer to my own question on your site. I have been interested in your resource for a long time. But only now can I say that I understand most of your texts.

  6. If the Great Exodus of faeries led to their adaptation in the interworld and a change in their nature, does this mean that the very principles of their existence have also changed? Have they remained true to their original path of deep awareness, or, having faced a lack of energy, did they begin to lose their connection with this ideal? If the interworld changed their ways of existence, did this lead to the dilution of their spiritual essence? Perhaps, over time, they became something completely different from what they were in the past?

    • When a being changes its habitat, the environment inevitably changes it in response. Faeries who have left Erd and gone into the interworld could not remain who they once were. However, faeries have always been characterized by not separating themselves from the flow of existence. They existed as part of a single flow of life and magic. But since in the interworld any flow is weakened, disrupted, and unstable, the faeries, being beings that deeply feel energy, could not help but change, finding themselves in an environment where life force is dispersed, where everything constantly transforms, and stability is absent. This is why many faeries moved to a new model of existence. In worlds rich in life, they could draw energy naturally without destroying its sources. But in the interworld, where pneuma is rare, they had to find ways to retain energy, to accumulate and redistribute it. This led to the creation of settlements, to the dependent position of many faeries who could not sustain their power independently, to raids on human and elemental worlds. In the natural world, full of living energy, faeries could evolve in harmony, through experiencing and accumulating experience in one life. They were not striving for power or expansion – their evolution was internal growth, not a struggle for resources. But in the interworld, such conditions no longer exist. And of course, when beings face a shortage of life force, their consciousness changes. For many faeries, deep awareness became a luxury, available only to those at the top of their society – the Sidam, who could draw energy from the Great Flow. For the rest, survival became a priority. While some faeries truly lost their connection with the ancient ideal, becoming predatory, weakened, dependent on foreign energy, others remained connected to the Flow, even in these challenging conditions. They can no longer lead the natural, easy life they once did, but they consciously maintain their nature, despite the changes. Faeries have certainly changed; their ways of existence have transformed, and their society has become more rigid, dependent on energy, and structured. But this does not mean that their spiritual essence has been damaged or lost. Part of the Magical people, unfortunately, has descended into degradation, becoming beings that have lost awareness and become merely a pale shadow of their former glory. They are no longer the Magical people in the true sense but mere energy predators clinging to remnants of past power. On the other hand, some are engaged in seeking a new path, adapting without losing essence. These faeries have accepted the reality of the interworld but have not allowed it to destroy their inner wholeness. They have transformed their forms of magic, reinterpreted their path, but remain those who experience reality deeper than any human. The main question facing faeries today is whether they should continue to exist in a transformed state, preserving at least part of their strength, or seek a new world, a new way of being that will restore their lost integrity. Some are looking for ways back to the worlds of matter, striving to regain what was lost. Others have fully accepted the interworld but construct a new form of existence within it, so as not to drown in chaos. The third have nearly disappeared, dissolving into emptiness, losing themselves. But one thing can be said for sure: faeries have not vanished, nor have they completely lost themselves. They are still seeking. The principles of their existence have transformed, but their deep essence has not disappeared. It is merely waiting for a new way to unfold.
