Condensation of Mind

way

The primary task of the Magus and Magic is the “avalanche-like” realization of his mind’s potential, — a high-intensity existence leading to maximal actualization in the shortest possible time.

This means that the Magus does not live in the usual flabby, insubstantial state fit only for endless, dreary repetition of the same lessons, not in a “school for the mentally disabled,” which ordinary life essentially is, but in a tense “training center” where every minute, every action is meant to extract the maximum from the mind of what it can do, to develop and expand it as far as possible, to implement its inclinations and aspirations effectively.

In this way of life, the Magus has neither the time nor the opportunity to “spin his wheels,” to wallow in empty experience and accumulate mistake after mistake.

The use of that high degree of condensation characteristic of the “dense plane” is a unique opportunity to attain this high intensity, and no wonder they say

all gods dream of being born human, for only in human form is liberation possible“.

Magical activity“, rituals, incantations, the Magus’s quests — these are not mere trappings, games intended to make life “more interesting” or even “richer”; they are ways to increase the intensity of awareness, to push it beyond the limits imposed by upbringing and the forces behind it — the Archons, predators, parasites.

However, for these actions to truly perform their function and not turn into cheap farce and buffoonery, they must be, on the one hand, aware, and on the other — necessary.

We have already said many times, the key rule of Magic states: “you must do only what you cannot not do“, and all training, reflection and self-analysis are needed only to find those essential “anchor points of awareness,” those actions whose time has come and that can trigger the avalanche-like reaction of Enlightenment.

In fact, the Magus uses all his resources precisely to achieve that degree of tension, condensation, and intensity necessary to free the natural currents of his mind from blockages, husk, and barriers erected in it by destructive forces.

The Magus does not seek to make himself “better” or even “stronger.” These comparative categories apply only to evolutionary development, not to the revolution of the mind that Magic is. The Magus seeks not to become “more aware” but to become Aware; he seeks not to become “stronger” but to become Strong — not merely to climb another rung of development, but to realize himself fully. Without such striving, Magic becomes merely an interesting hobby, and the person remains a plaything in the hands of the forces that consume him.

The Magus must feel with his whole being that he is “forcing his way” through the very fabric of the world, going through the darkness — and out of the darkness.

Becoming face to face with the players hidden behind the veil of everyday life, the Magus can no longer pretend that “everything is fine” or that “everything is yet to come”. The reality he confronts is so merciless and terrifying that it cannot simply be ignored, and this creates a state in which the Magus “cannot not be a Magus.”

Magic begins when direct experience shows that there is no other way, one cannot pretend or stall, because the battle proves not to be a “concept” but living reality itself. Direct confrontation with the reality of the “First Noble Truth” can have no consequences other than an irresistible urge to change the situation — and thereafter the whole question is only where the mind prefers to move: toward the Primordial Waters, or toward Pleromic unity.

The Magus draws his runes, sings incantations, calls spirits, appeals to gods, and creates anchor points for one purpose only — to enter the Vertical Flow in such a way as to break out once and for all from the circle of mutual consumption, tear the chains that bind it, and restore the mind’s primordial dignity — as a mode of self-knowledge of the Great Spirit.

  1. “A Mage must feel with his entire being that he is ‘pushing through’ the very fabric of the world” – well said, the sensations are accurately described. However, such a movement disrupts the ‘calm,’ the ‘sleeping state’ of those around, i.e., it brings imbalance, sometimes very significant. It’s as if a ‘trail of imbalance’ and disturbance follows the Mage. One can certainly argue that this is beneficial for them, as it awakens them from slumber. But in reality, it turns out that no one particularly wants to change anything, and the imbalancing movement of the Mage, ‘tearing through the habitual fabric of the world,’ brings them nothing but pain and additional suffering from the suddenly manifested ‘other reality.’ So what to choose – leave society to avoid traumatizing anyone, or stay and ignore it, only thinking about one’s own path?

  2. Allow me to quote:
Despair is an extraordinary key to power, not just a key, but a pick that is capable of opening almost any lock… And typically, this is the only key available to man… Max Fry.

  3. Well written. I would add that the reason for the mage’s behavior is that he is completely immersed in the abyss. I cannot define it. It just comes to understanding that it’s only forward. My favorite saying by Castaneda fits here: The warrior is in the hands of power, and his only freedom is to lead an impeccable life.
