Liberation in a Single Life
One way or another, the mind only enters into a real struggle for its development when it understands that it is not free: not free from the limitations of embodiment, not free from suffering, not free in its choices.
Therefore the primary aim of any development is precisely liberation, understood as broadly as possible — as reducing them to a minimum, and ideally the complete overcoming, of all the limitations confronting the mind.
No effective realization is possible while a being remains a slave — a slave of illusions, a slave of distractors, a slave of predators and parasites.
At the same time one must clearly understand that some limitations can be overcome relatively easily, others — quite difficult, and still others require global restructuring of the mind’s very mode of existence.
According to legend, the Buddha said that to break out of the cycle of rebirths one needs thousands of lives filled with intensive work to overcome the limitations of the mind.
Magi must also acknowledge that often, even after a whole life of struggle, real liberation is comparatively small, which means many lives of strenuous effort are necessary in order to attain freedom and full realization.
Nevertheless, many Schools and Lines have managed to develop Ways, tricks, and stratagems by which the mind can approach significant freedom and realization already within a single life.
Note that the efforts required demand a level of existential intensity that ordinary people have never even imagined.
Understanding the total cosmic scope and grandeur of the tasks facing the mind is an important sobering factor, because it usually seems that spiritual realization is a task similar to attending university or taking a sewing course. One can find a host of resources seriously and earnestly discussing what to do after liberation from the Parasite of mind or after “passing through all the Gates of dreaming.”
Meanwhile, many people who expound at length on “evolution” after liberation can hardly give a coherent answer to the question: what are they doing right now for their development, what progress have they made today compared with yesterday.
Magic, as indeed all other paths of mental development, is not a hobby, not an ‘interest’; it is the primary content of life, and only then can these ways produce real progress.
The Parasite of mind is not simply a “black shadow”, and demons are not just scare stories in movies.
None of those who have achieved at least some real successes in liberation from them would lightly speculate about what to do “after” or even “besides” fighting them, because they understand how scant the chances are and how extraordinary the efforts required for that liberation.
Only such individual efforts — when everything is at stake, when there can be no goals more important than liberation, and not “tomorrow”, not “later”, but right here and now — can achieve any success.
All people — Magi, mystics, saints, and sages — who have made significant progress on the path of expanding their minds and realizing their potential did not spare time or energy in that struggle.
A fighting Magus has neither the time nor the resources for intolerance and judgment; he fights for his freedom, he fights for his perfection, and does not set himself up to scold or oppress others. His opponents are in his own mind, and as long as his mind remains unfree, he cannot afford to be distracted by anything else.
Only by fully immersing oneself in self-realization right here and now — regardless of the path this realization takes — whether in meditation or goetic operations, theurgy or divination, or simply in conscious daily routines, can one achieve success, reduce the degree of one’s bondage, and perhaps even be freed and realize themselves, becoming what one was meant to be from the beginning of time — a creative intelligence.
In connection with the article, I became interested – how here is it considered, should a developing mind cultivate in itself some emptiness, a deliberate detachment, a kind of feeling of a spectator in a theater? I say this because if a person does not live in a cave somewhere in Siberia, he is in contact, interacts, gives his energy and time to a whole bunch of miscellaneous egregores, everyone owes and depends on each other, heaps of ideas are discussed even when it is not important if we are ‘for’ or ‘against,’ they are in our thoughts, they are plentiful around and each continues to squeeze juices trying to hook into the living: television, the internet, and just human foolishness – everyone tries to occupy attention with themselves, making effectively slaves, and even the ‘struggle with the system’ is just another role in this game. Of course, refusing interactions is a stop in movement, and in time, it turns into cynicism, but in order to be here and now, one must not give their attention ‘to the left,’ which is extremely difficult to achieve, thus the concept of a kind of attention firewall or more accurately, a vacuum which, like in an incandescent lamp, casts off unnecessary interactions from the heating element, allowing it to glow, also leaves the light of our attention clean, untainted by external events.
Indeed, one of the favorite strategies of destructive influences on consciousness is to involve the being in activity, thoughts, ‘practices,’ connections, etc. In this case, consciousness becomes occupied not with realizing its own tendencies and potentials, but actually realizes someone else’s will, feeding someone else’s streams of energy. To avoid such inefficiency, a long time ago the approach of ‘apophatic motivation’ was developed: consciousness should not do what it can do without. It is only important to honestly ascertain whether a given type of activity of consciousness is necessary for it, or is it imposed from outside. I have already written several times that Magic is not the best and not the only Path, just as all other Paths are not. The one who can do without Magic should live without it, just as one who can do without religion, or without meditations, or without music – should not introduce unnecessary flows into their life. I repeat – the whole issue is in honesty. We should not engage in those affairs that we can engage in, but in those that we CANNOT but engage in. We should not walk down the paths we can walk down, but those that, WITHOUT which, we are not ourselves. We should not be with those people we can be with, but with those, WITHOUT whom we are not ourselves. Finding and highlighting such essential components of our lives will allow us to shed unnecessary energy flows, avoiding the maintenance of foreign flows and the realization of foreign desires. And for this, it is completely unnecessary to go to the desert or the taiga. For this, you simply need to be attentive to yourself and not replace your life with empty fuss. We are surrounded by a field of possibilities, and we should not narrow these possibilities but only find our trails and sources of Strength on this field.
I want to give an example (in no way do I claim that it is correct. It is correct only for me. Perhaps someone else’s example will help to draw an analogy, to compare it with their own) One of my gifts – is to take ‘impurity,’ illness from people. It brings me only pain. For years I fled from it. I wished not to take. But I cannot hide it. People know me better than I thought. They come by themselves to give their ‘impurity,’ illness. The witch came on the day of Archangel Michael and cunningly gave me an ‘offering’ – (yellow change collected and specially processed, saturated with her energies). When the offering has been taken by me, I begin to feel a slight headache, and after a few hours it becomes unbearable, my stomach stops, even if I haven’t eaten, and for 5-10 hours my body throws up to blood from my throat until all of the witch’s ‘offered impurity’ comes out of me. Medicines do not help; they do not relieve the spasm and pain. In my youth, by taking others’ illnesses, I accumulated them within me (did so – appropriating), until I realized that for illnesses to leave, they should not stay inside me – I must be clean. It’s simple. Like attracts like. When I am unclean, another’s impurity similar to me remains within me. When I am clean, another’s impurity is expelled from me because I am unlike it. I cannot refuse to take. This is my nature, my individuality. Being clean – I accept them, without appropriating. I agree, this is the Path of a woman. Along the way, I encountered people who wanted to have me as their personal ‘garbage collector.’ They called me to other cities, where they were willing to feed me, clothe me at their expense, and of course use me for my purpose))) In their words, this was called ‘To love.’ ‘To love’ in the world of people means ‘To possess’ – Amai-mon rules. But they didn’t succeed, I cannot do it under coercion or for payment, only of my own will, and if cunningly they force me to agree and take the ‘impurity,’ then I cannot be angry with them, I have unlearned. I accept my Fate as a Challenge.
A good hint on how to meet oneself.
In my opinion, you can fully meet yourself when meeting your opposite. It usually looks so unexpected that you want to just slap the person! Well, that’s standard; if you can’t recognize energy through love, a war begins. As a second form of close interaction. The post itself is a mix of the author’s view of a woman’s path, accepting without consuming, and a description of the author’s individual energy. Which, in general, is good; she clearly knows it. However, there is another and polar energy of this. I don’t really know if it divides men that way, but I, for example, unlike Tavita, can grow and manifest anything. And just like that, people are dragging me around to grow what they want. And I can’t help but do that, but doing only that, I reach the boundary of myself and understand that I need to learn what is described here. Not to live differently and discard everything but to learn this process as well. And both forms, by the way, have a shadow. For example, I can manifest anything, in the absence of normal desires, and weakly distinguished and could separate what actually needs to be cleaned. Regarding the author’s views on the feminine path. It’s obvious that it is conditioned. And it is the truth but not the ultimate truth since it only contains a viewpoint that can be called giving.

This morning I had an association of the path with the tale of Buratino. At first, you are a puppet… ‘the puppets are pulled by strings, they have smiles on their faces…’ (gr. Time Machine)
You do not see the world from the inside. You merely play the role assigned to you.
But here comes awareness in the face of Buratino (I apologize Enmerkar 🙂 ) and the flow in the form of a golden key. He peeks behind the scenes and begins to understand the world from the inside. He sees the gluttonous Karabas-Barabas. He gluttons because he is pleased and calm. You play the role as he deems necessary. He does not need you to know the roots of what caused this state of affairs. He does not need you to know that you can be free. That you can live wherever and however you want, and not waste your life on useless running with obstacles. And he doesn’t want this because he is afraid. If everyone understands all this, the system will collapse.
And then Buratino 🙂 finds the drawn hearth (the illusory world) and makes a hole in it. He leads all the puppets to behind the scenes.

However, not everything is so simple in determining what is needed and what is not, what you can do without and what you cannot. There is such a state as the Night of Apophis. At first, we engage in something with pleasure. Then this activity starts to invoke, at best, just laziness, and at worst – disgust. In such a state, it is easy to conclude that ‘This is not mine’. Eventually, a person can convince themselves about something that it is ‘not theirs’, simply finding themselves in conditions where it is impossible to do what they actually cannot do without and just, to soften the feeling of discontent, push it out of consciousness.
Of course, many people cheerfully live without that, without which they are not themselves, and easily get by without that, without which, in fact, they cannot do without. The irony is that a person easily relinquishes what they actually need for that which is not only unnecessary but even harmful. Yet, this is no reason to pretend that it should be this way, and those who choose self-destruction and death will go through these lessons until they truly feel WHAT they indeed need and what they do not. It is precisely for this clarification that that very thousand lives may be needed. But until the soul is truly hungry for its Path, no artificial exercises and practices will bring anywhere.
Why is the goal set as liberation? I mean, liberation itself is undoubtedly a good thing, but does freedom not conflict with purpose?
The freedom should be achieved only by the one who sees freedom as their purpose.
As far as I understand, it is possible to evolve by diving into the past into the states of the past and completing, encircling those states, bringing them into harmony with individuality, the path. This is diving into depth. The most terrible lack of freedom is surely worse than stone; to be a mummy. And another terrible lack of freedom is Cyber Ego, the attachment of being in the flow of life with negligible chances to find one’s path.

It’s internal, either one has it or not. All motives, desires, and goals gradually disappear, washed away by heavy, strange, prolonged situations until there is nothing left but mad eagerness to rise. And no one. The inability to make acquaintances, close relationships, careers, monetary and status attachments… Fences are everywhere. There is only one Path. And it is the only important one. This cannot be invented alone, cannot force oneself; for no one in their right mind would agree to condemn themselves to such a “preparation.” How quickly the movement goes, you cannot really say because you do not know who and with whom to compare. But every day is different, every hour is a new step. Every true moment is a gift.
