Guards of the Interworld

the world’s Passive Medium, which constitutes the undifferentiated foundation of the Interworld, is highly sensitive to volitional impulses and changes accordingly.
Therefore, the Interworld itself, in its Telesmic aspect (which Madame Blavatsky called with the pretentious term ‘astral’) is highly unstable. What is particularly dangerous is that the mobility of the Interworld is often Qliphothic, and it is precisely through it that the inhabitants of demonic worlds penetrate the dreams and the reality of the Stream of Power’s inhabitants.

In order to keep the Stream of Power intact, a special group of beings dwell in the Interworld, the “original inhabitants” of the interspace, called Archons (Greek ἄρχων — “prince“, Hebrew nasirim, נסיכים) or Governing Spirits (Spiritus Directores).
The question of the Archons’ origin has no single answer; some traditions consider them primordial inhabitants of the interspace, prime beings comparable to the Hrimthurs of Norse mythology or the Giants of Greek mythology, while others trace them to younger tribes of gods or elves. Gnostics regarded the Archons as the product of error and described them as the creation of the “Blind God” — the demiurge Ialdabaoth — father of illusions and creator of delusions.
In any case, these beings are the Rulers of Involution, directing the densification of matter and the descent of mind into increasingly dense layers.
Moreover, it is the Archons who ensure proper disembodiment of a being, preventing it from turning into an utukku.
Gnostics saw the Archons as creators of the material cosmos and, at the same time, as the authors of the moral demiurgic law — a system of prohibitions and commandments that enslave humans to matter. And this is not surprising — for the Archons determine the fulfillment of desires; it is within their power to decide which of the disturbances in the World Medium will become real and which will remain dreams.

In their “planetary” aspect the Archons were studied by medieval Magi and were described by Agrippa under the names “Olympian spirits“, yet neither their specific functions nor their behavioral traits were clearly delineated in grimoiric literature.
The “Ethers” of Enochian Magic, the “Imperfect Heavens” of the Gnostics — these are descriptions of layers of the Interworld sustained by various Archons, which divide that space into separate “compartments” where one can partially control the eddies of the World Medium.
Archons are creators of reflections; they reconfigure the Passive Medium in accordance with a set of volitional impulses arriving from different worlds and interacting with one another. In Gnostic representations, the Archons are treated as ambivalent beings whose power, though it must be overcome by the “perfect” Gnostic, is nevertheless broadly harmonious with the designs of the Absolute. It is said that the Archons created the dense human body only to keep the pneuma, the divine “spark” that fell from heaven, in bondage. At the same time, the body, according to magical conceptions, is not only the prison of the soul but also its support, enabling the mind to develop through the overcoming of obstacles.
Therefore, it is precisely the Archons who help people go beyond the bounds of being. Nevertheless, the Archons are not friendly to humans, and even less so to the Magus, since they are interested in his influence on the Medium and, in a certain sense, depend on that influence.

Moreover, according to Epiphanius, the Gnostics
“say that the soul is food for the Archons and the Powers, and that it is necessary for their life, for it comes from the dew that falls from above and gives them strength”
It was thought that man, as the central point of the cosmos, is capable of exerting that decisive influence on the telesmic flows which the Archons so desperately need. After all, a person living on the border of dream and reality effectively lives in a world of reflections — the world of the Archons. And the “soul” which, according to the Gnostics, the Archons “feed on” are precisely the volitional impulses that agitate the Passive Medium. In other words, the Archons require external volitional influence, sources of will — energies that constitute the substrate of their activity, and therefore the meaning and justification of their existence. The Archons are interested in there being as many people as possible, and in their desires being as unfulfillable as possible; then the Dream-space is most saturated, and the Archons themselves most active.
In the language of Magic, a dream is any perception deprived of energy generation — a state in which there is no tuning of awareness to perceivable elements. In such a state, the mind creates virtual blocks of energy, extracting them from the overall field and grouping them arbitrarily. Tuning arises when a block of energy in the mind is brought into correspondence with a block of energies existing outside.
Any description inevitably includes a certain number of arbitrary elements — that is, it becomes a Myth. A myth is a map of dreaming, but the more elements it contains that can generate energy, the more effectively that Myth contributes to the accumulation of awareness.
Accordingly, by manipulating the contents of the mind, the Archons control the amount of energy flowing through the Interworld and, on one hand, protect it (and with it the worlds) from the demonic influences of the Qliphoth, but on the other hand keep embodied beings in their worlds as “generators of reality,” sources of a Power that does not exist in the Interworld — the power to attune awareness.
Therefore, the Archons are both guardians and jailers of our world, holding souls in the cage of limited embodiment, guided by considerations of energy balance; but for the Magus who seeks freedom, they are an obstacle he must overcome.
In this sense, the Magus has two tasks: on one hand, having accumulated power, to impart a magical quality to the soul that fortifies it, and perhaps even render it invisible to the keen eyes of the Archons (the realization of this aim can be secured by the practice of monitoring and avoiding attracting attention, so important for the Magus); on the other hand, to give the mind knowledge of how to pass through the Interworld (this was the aim pursued by the famous “Books of the Dead”). If he fails, the Magus will be cast back into the Gilgul, but if he manages to slip through the Interworld — cosmic prospects await him.

Judging by the description, it turns out that Archons are indeed the inorganic beings of the KK?
It’s interesting, given the fact that each of such religions as Judaism, Christianity, and Islam claims its exclusive monopoly on the Truth in the Final Instance (while Christianity constantly splits into various currents, each of which claims its understanding of Sacred Scripture to be the only true one, while others are delusions), did the Archons not have a hand in this? That is, is the confrontation of exoteric religions, the tension between them, an event that is beneficial for the Archons? And are the Archons not behind the imposition of various myths in both esoteric and pseudo-esoteric environments? Such as behind every message from the ‘Ascended Masters’? And hence the emergence of various Rerik societies, etc., with their paradigms – Shambhala and Teachers like El Morya, Koot Hoomi, Djwhal Khul, Saint Germain, etc. In other words, all phenomena, like the Rerik Society, etc., create the impression of imposing certain teachings that provide abundant information, load the minds of readers and listeners, but do not actually lead to the accumulation of Power (or even divert from it)? This is something reminiscent of what we learned about the twentieth ether during the summoning of it ‘http://oto-hr.narod.ru/mtex.htm’. That is, the provided information is often indistinguishable from the Truth, and it can be quite truthful, but completely not conducive to the accumulation of Power; similarly, various theosophical and pseudo-theosophical schools load entire tomes about the history of the Earth and Humanity, about races and their tasks, etc., but all of this lacks any keys to practical application. ‘Wait for the Teacher, and he will come when you are ready’, ‘Grow up, Vasya – you will learn what to do (in practical terms), and for now, read the ‘Secret Doctrine’ and ‘Agni Yoga’)’ And regarding everything that concerns practical applications of all that baggage of information, they say it is, so to speak, a great secret known only to Himalayan adepts, whom one must believe, and then, perhaps, one may eventually join their ranks.
Although the Archons are certainly keen on spreading barren myths that bring them a lot of empty hopes and aspirations of people, and thus adding life to the deserts of the Between-Worlds, I would not categorically assert that there are myths that give no Power to anyone at all. It is quite possible that someone will find those myths as Their Path, and their potential will be realized in the most complete way on that Path.
Allow me to disagree with you regarding the Ascended Masters and the teachings of Agni Yoga. At one time, I read Agni Yoga, and my opinion is that it is far from being an ’empty shell.’ This text awakens the SPIRIT. Therefore, its style of writing (abstractly ornate and lofty) and the lack of specific advice-instructions-cheat codes for the logical apparatus testify to this. This book is a source of inexhaustible wisdom; it stimulates the awakening of the seventh chakra. This book began my path of development. Although I am not a fan of Agni Yoga, as I am still VERY far from the level of awareness conducive to an adequate understanding of this work, I must give it due credit. And by the way, there are still some pieces of advice: specifically, ‘work on your three strongest shortcomings, avoid empty conversations, emotional expressions of a negative nature (like irritation)…’ and similar things that resonate strongly with what the author of this blog writes about. At this stage, I am fascinated by other self-development systems, but I feel that many of us might have to return to Agni Yoga, as Living Ethics is oriented towards those who are seriously preparing for Ascension.
By the way, is the saga about the ‘Watchers’ not a reflection of the concept of Archons in the consciousness of the author of this saga?
More about the Archons: I think a vivid example of the Archons’ activity is the creation of numerous sects, which are characterized by active eschatomania and eschatocentrism. Since how much energy is spilled into the Between-Worlds when hundreds of people simultaneously revolve all their thoughts, hopes, and aspirations around what may happen tomorrow, the day after tomorrow, in a month, in half a year, in a year, the Second Coming? I also believe that a banal advertisement serves as an important channel for the Archons, especially when it contains elements of eroticism. For example, there is a billboard. In the center of it is an attractive semi-naked woman and a cool plasma TV. Thousands of passersby walk by this billboard every day and in each of them, this advertisement awakens certain fantasies linked both to the TV that they cannot go and buy right now and to the woman they cannot go and possess right now (while simultaneously comparing her to their real partners and fretting about the fact that the latter fall short of this nameless model in external parameters). Women, in turn, compare themselves to her, recognize their flaws, and fret that they will never be as this model is. Certainly, there is an outflow of energy in the form of emotions, fantasies, and frustrations in this case. It is clear that actively supplying Power to the Archons are people with a Midlife Crisis, various ‘rotten Vanyas’ – ‘captains who will never become majors’, etc. One acquaintance of mine said that ‘the world presses a person with what is of paramount importance to them.’ That is, problems with the realization of desires arise specifically in the area that has primary importance for the subject. If for a person, career is paramount – they have issues with their career. If personal life – then in personal life. If money, then with money. If such a pattern exists, then it is evident that the Archons stand behind it. But in this case, the question arises – how to bypass them? I think here one can slightly deceive them by creating safety nets – that is, intentionally inventing some values that have no real significance but treating them as if they were meaningful. In general, having, say, the goal of achieving Knowledge and Conversation with SAH, one can fret about not having a motorcycle. Or the impossibility of sleeping with Madonna 🙂 Another possible option – to align oneself with the appropriate Egregor (corresponding to your desires) and to live completely and selflessly according to its concepts. Say, if you dream of a scientific career – merge with the egregor of science, casting aside everything else. Live entirely with science. Finally, perhaps the best option is to gain the support of powers that are hierarchically above the Archons. For example, the Gods. But in the last case, again, the problem arises – that is, the Archons, seeing that you are trying to achieve a direct connection with the Gods, will do everything to prevent the establishment of it. Perhaps, it seems to me, there is another factor. This is the Sense of Self-Importance. The less Self-Importance a person has, the less noticeable they are to the Archons. This way or that, I seem to feel that this is the case.
People’s desires do not come true because they want them TOO much; in other words, they do not know how to desire and depend on their desires. This topic is magnificently described by Zeland in Reality Transurfing and is called ‘excess potential.’ These potentials are created at the energy level, and therefore external masking, like ‘I will pretend that I’m worried about the motorcycle,’ won’t work here, since you are exactly inside yourself ‘being cold’ regarding the object of your desire. That is, to desire without fanaticism, acknowledging the possibility that you may never get what you wish for. Thus, it will be more of an intention (the process of achieving a goal), rather than desire (passive waiting, lust), and no archons will be able to stop you here.
Additionally. Perhaps this is my attempt to reduce everything to one single factor, but it seems to me that the same Archons somehow implant certain rules of morality into the world of people. And on the one hand, they instill in people that desiring money, women, and power is bad. But on the other hand, a person who thinks that desiring money/women/power is bad does not recognize these desires in themselves. They repress them into their Subconscious, and thus, without suspecting it, they become slaves to these desires. And the Archons, in fact, benefit from this situation. That is, creating a certain world order that generates a specific field of desires in people, they simultaneously condemn these very desires. And a person, believing that certain desires are ‘immoral and bad’, does not accept them within themselves, thus remaining enslaved by these desires.
Enmerkar, what exactly happens when consciousness is properly tuned to external energy blocks? Can we say that a closure of the energy flow circuit occurs and it ceases to be aimlessly scattered and consumed by Archons? What serves, even partially, as evidence that the external energy block is real? After all, energy generation, in my opinion, occurs even when creating a virtual block; what matters is how this energy is directed and where.
“Real” means energy-generating. That is, indeed, when consciousness tunes into an energy block, a certain excess of power arises, allowing further advancement.
By the way, could the currently popular genre of writing fantasy novels be ‘in favor’ of the Archons?
But after all, the same A. Crowley wrote novels, as did works of K.K. in a similar style, yet the presence of Power in them is evident.
Does this mean one can counteract Archons with their own weapon?
Fantasy novels can be conditionally divided into 2 types:
* those that draw energy from the reader into fantasy
* those that generate energy in fantasy and give it back to the reader. And even more so: they transfer energy into the real world.
For the most part, modern fantasy novels simply destabilize reality, because their authors are poorly aware and do not understand what they are doing and why.
An interesting point. In fantasy, in addition to nonsensical things, there are also grains of reality. What if fantasy is a kind of Easter egg from the Archons? Like a warning. And perhaps there one can find answers on how to break free from their influence. For example, in Max Frei..
“Practice of tracking and not attracting attention.” Tell me, master! What is the instrument of vision in the between world? I noticed that it differs from the ordinary human vision, capturing a ‘cone’ of space “in front” and often the sight is hindered by something like a veil or a translucent hood that can be brushed aside. Or is it all a game of consciousness?
Perception in the Interval occurs through the organs of the Body of life, which there is the main conduit. And, of course, these organs are different from the usual eyes of the physical body.
“The practice of tracking and not attracting attention”.
What is this practice? Let me know.
