The Nature of Hatred

Lately hatred — an extreme degree of distortion of the force of repulsion — is becoming more than a poison, but is closely intertwined with the human environment. Let’s examine how this, one of the most destructive states, develops.

We have already said that the first stage and necessary condition of self-definition of any system is the activation of repulsive forces within it, which make it possible to separate “I” from “not‑I,” one’s own from the alien, and thus to form the field of “oneself” and “one’s own.” This force manifests at the level of mind as its reflective activity, the capacity to “mirror” reality on the screen of the mind, and thus to create prerequisites for interaction with the “external,” for its awareness and internal reflection.

From the standpoint of a “physical” description of the world, one may say that mind, which causes the ‘collapse of the wave function’ and singles out from the uniform field of probabilities those that are to be realized, “repels” all the other probabilities — that is, it uses the energy of anger.

Moreover, any action, any realization that “chooses” one of the directions automatically “excludes,” in its reality, the others — that is, it also employs the energy of repulsion. Therefore, one can say that, in its pure basis, anger underlies any realization, the pure energy of activity.

At the same time, when the mind falls into ignorance, loses clarity of vision and sharpness of understanding, its mirroring surface becomes cloudy and repulsion loses its impartiality. As a result, an evaluative element appears, and it turns into anger. Thus, anger is the first stage of distortion of repulsion, when everything “one’s own” is not simply accepted but proclaimed “good,” and everything “alien” is not simply rejected but declared “bad.” If obscuration goes even deeper, the destructiveness of anger grows, and it turns into aggression. Now simply pushing away the alien will not suffice; it must be destroyed; it is not merely “foreign” — it is perceived as harmful and doomed to annihilation.

In the brain, hatred is associated with activation of several brain regions, including the frontal lobes, the amygdala, and the hypothalamus. The frontal lobes are involved in regulating emotions and behavior, while the amygdalar complex (amygdala) plays a key role in processing emotional information, including threats. The hypothalamus, in turn, participates in the regulation of emotional reactions and behavior, including aggression and fear. Neurotransmitter systems associated with hatred include norepinephrine, serotonin, and dopamine. Norepinephrine is involved in the regulation of attention and aggression; it directs attention to perceived threats that seem threatening, while serotonin is involved in regulating mood, sleep, and appetite. Thus, hatred captures all attention; it drains energy from other mental processes, becoming dominant. Dopamine is linked to pleasure, motivation, and decision-making. Hatred activates reinforcement systems so that harming “enemies” can be felt as pleasure. Activation of brain areas associated with hatred can raise norepinephrine levels and lower serotonin levels. This can contribute to the further development of aggressive behavior.

As obscuration deepens, the more distorted the energies become, the less manageable they become — and the more effort will be required to correct their transformation into their original form. In addition, they become ever less discriminating: if the original anger, the pure force of repulsion is aimed at choice, clearly distancing the system from elements that are uncharacteristic for it, then the distorted forms — anger, aggression, and especially hatred — may choose as their target a completely “random” factor, process, or being, and attack it with destructive force. That is why such energies become tools in the hands of manipulators, predators, and parasites of all levels and natures.

It is easy to “slip” a foreign object to an obscured being for aggression; it only needs to be presented as alien, assessed as harmful and subject to destruction — and the mind easily accepts such bait.

This is one of the main tools of Belial — the demon of false collectivity — who kindles the fire of hatred by dividing into “one’s own” and “alien,” with the “alien” invariably branded as “enemies,” worthy only of suffering and death. It is therefore not surprising that collectivities often define themselves less by their own qualities, not so much on the search for and development of their useful and constructive traits, but more by opposition to others, on closing in on themselves as the ‘only correct’ group — which, by and large, produces nothing but hatred, colossal volumes of which are, of course, consumed eagerly by predators. Prolonged dwelling in constant hatred is beneficial for the egregoric upper strata, who, skillfully feeding it, can manipulate collectives easily, and for infernal predators harvesting energetic ‘crops’.

It is clear that transforming such deeply entrenched distortions is not simple; it requires great strength, determination, and clarity of understanding. To reduce the level of hatred, one should:

  1. Accept that one experiences hatred, and that hatred is a poison for the mind. Denying or ignoring one’s emotions almost always worsens the problem, so it is important to acknowledge that the mind is gripped by hatred and to try to understand its causes.
  2. Try to understand the causes of one’s hatred. Often hatred stems from stereotypical thinking, which can be caused by insufficient understanding of others or cultural differences. Therefore, it can be useful to identify the trigger that sparks distorted anger, leading to the development of hatred toward someone or something.
  3. It is also useful to communicate with people with different views or cultural backgrounds. This helps better understand differences and reduce negative stereotypes. Usually, this is the hardest thing to do, since hatred greatly reduces tolerance and openness.
  4. Develop empathy. It is useful to try to put yourself in another’s shoes and imagine how your words and actions affect them. This can also help increase clarity of mind and reduce the level of hatred.
  5. Use meditation, contemplation, and mindfulness practices. They can help reduce stress and clarify one’s inner perspective.

In any case, overcoming hatred often requires substantial time and effort and may not be completely possible. Often this requires therapy or mystical rites, powerful experiences, and deep awareness. However, reducing hatred can improve quality of life, better relationships with the people around, and free energy for constructive purposes.

  1. The methods to reduce one’s hatred are almost flawless. But sometimes to understand, accept, and relax means to expend an intolerable amount of energy. With many opponents, it is even harder. Here, it is only about finding common points of contact at the level of universal human values and further unwinding the spiral of contradiction. So that the contradiction between unshakeable truths: children, family, do not kill, and functions of obscuration extinguishes and stops the emission.

  2. Honestly, I can’t imagine how one can cultivate hatred based on any cultural or racial differences. However, the behavioral algorithm: pain – offense – hatred – revenge is probably hardwired in the brain, in consciousness, as they say, “by default” somewhere at the level of the instinct for self-preservation. The enemy is one who causes you pain. And there are two ways to get rid of pain – forgive or take revenge. To forgive is in the best traditions of Jesus, but on the other hand, it is as if to acknowledge one’s weakness, to acknowledge oneself as a victim, a sufferer – and this is also embedded somewhere in basic behavioral algorithms. We are not used to forgiving, but we do not always have the opportunity to take revenge on those who cause pain, so hatred does not reach its peak and smolders like a peat bog – for a looooong time. It’s difficult to deal with this quickly. Over time, the pain dulls, and possibly the attention shifts to something else, like contemplation, meditation, as you write, or to other feelings for other people, but in any case, the psychological trauma is fixed in memory and influences future decision-making.

And what is happening in the world now is not spontaneous – it is someone’s intention. Something or someone is trying to reduce the number of people on Earth by any means. And given that the narrowness of consciousness or obscuration, as you say, prevails in the public mass, this intention manifests quite successfully.

  3. I will say – now even the positive is not quite kind, but it is what it is.
Indeed, negativity extinguishes the activity of consciousness. Therefore, a good practice is raising and spreading positivity. A more advanced one is raising positivity and cleansing one’s info while smoothing out the matrix.
People have the freedom of choice. What is happening in the world now is the inevitable sunset of the human race. Do you want to know the opinion of any forces? Ask them what they think of people?
I quote one of the Guardians: “even the Gods look at this world with apprehension.”
