Initiations and Consecrations

In the discussion of the energy of symbols we mentioned that amulets and talismans built using realization sigils are capable of changing reality, inducing changes in it consistent with their nature.
It is clear that such changes require a significant amount of energy, which most practitioners who make “working” artifacts do not possess (or would have to invest all of it).

Whatever mechanism an amulet or talisman uses — vortex or vector — first, a connection must be established between the object and the energy it concentrates/directs, and second, the artifact’s use of energy must not destabilize those processes in the universe, except for those at which the artifact’s action is directed.
Where, then, do such volumes of energy come from?
All processes of energizing Items of Power can be divided into two groups: “charging” and “consecration.”

By “charging” (Lat. arguere) is meant “attaching” to an artifact one vortex or another, or a flow possessing significant potential. This may be the operator’s own energy, a victim, a servitor spirit, a place, or another Item of Power, and so on. Namely, with this activation method, energy is redistributed and redirected, which to a greater or lesser degree leads to the depletion of “donor” beings or processes; that is, it can negatively affect the universe as a whole.
It is precisely “charging” that is the most common way of profane activation of artifacts in the occult environment. In practice it may not even require special actions, when the “charging” of an object can occur during its manufacture. Various “offerings” and “sacrifices” pursue the same goal, as does “blessing” amulets with blood, semen, and other energy-rich substances.

However, charging-based activation has two significant drawbacks:
first, it draws energy from another process or object, and somewhere an energy shortfall results, which may have far-reaching, subtle consequences;
second, such filling is unstable and short-lived; an artifact may discharge or even recharge over time, thereby losing or altering effectiveness.

By “consecration” (Lat. consecratio) is meant establishing a connection between the activated object and potential sources of energy not previously manifested in the world up to this moment. It is clear that such an action does not disturb or impoverish existing phenomena, and the resulting artifact becomes a new agent of influence, changing the fabric of the universe by the mechanism of transformation. That is, the energy of an artifact activated in the process of consecration comes from the Interval, i.e., from the potential medium of the universe.
By the same mechanism occurs the “extraction” of energy from the Interval, necessary for transcendence of the mind — opening new opportunities and perspectives during the processes of Initiations.

In the case of such transitions of mind, special, hierophantic luminar forces are activated in it, and similarly, the process of consecration of artifacts requires specific skills.
In order for an object to acquire additional energy, just as in order for the mind to move to the next level, entry into the ‘ideal’ scenario of the universe’s development is required, into that layer of potencies in which objects and beings are realized fully and to a perfect degree. In other words, one must perceive the ‘ideal nature’ of things and beings, their potential perfection — and to see it as an energetic fact, a scenario existing in the Interval’s potential space.

Therefore, a mystagogue leading the mind through the Veils in the mysteries and Rituals of Initiations can only be someone who clearly sees this “ideal nature” (hence the Eastern tradition of venerating Gurus, in whom they see that very Path to one’s absolute nature), and to “consecrate” objects — one who himself has a strong connection with the Pure Lights.
Even when it comes to “self-initiations,” the search and activation of the “Higher matrices” of mind, the same vision of the ideal scenario is required, which makes it possible to extract the corresponding potential from the Interval.
Thus, consecration-based activation, although more complex technically and ideologically, makes it possible to achieve much more stable and harmonious results than charging.

Accordingly, for a magus striving for efficient personal development and realizations, an important skill is the ability to see ideal scenarios and find opportunities to extract their energy.
To acquire this ability, of course, a high degree of perceptual purity is needed, and a special realization skill, a ‘sense of caution’ that does not allow building some structures to others’ detriment. One way or another, even in this seemingly purely practical field, general development and practical skills turn out to be closely connected and interdependent.

Hello! Can the consecration by elements be attributed to the first option or the second?
And such a question, for example, to create an amulet-protector for a soldier (naturally with the aim of returning alive and unharmed), how to sanctify it by the second method, as I understand it, it is more effective, that is, how to set up an amulet with a potential source of energy, not manifested before this moment in the world.
After all, it’s unknown, what if the soldier’s goal is to achieve some task at the cost of life? (Like Achilles in the Trojan War). Just for example.
The differences in activation types – are not in what is being activated, but in who is activating it. That is, ‘consecration by elements’ can be both charging and consecration, depending on the level of development of the activator.
As for the soldier – it depends on how and why he went to war. War is, in any case, obscuration and crime, and a personal ‘karma’ depends on the degree of deceit/self-deceit of the one participating in it.
Wars are always games of forces.
Enmerkar, good day! Could you tell me what does it mean ‘the ability to see ideal scenarios and find opportunities to extract their energy’? Is it not about what might be ideal or that you see a scenario for the future that has a chance of being realized, but rather that these are the seeds of many scenarios and the possibility of their development exists, but it is not important whether they are ultimately realized or not?
And how to understand ‘finding opportunities to extract energy’? Is this a technology? Is it such a tuning that the petition of this scenario is so enchanting that the mere thought of it generates energy? Or is it something else? Is only a magician capable of this?
Hello! ‘An ideal scenario’ is such a development of events in which a lawful goal is achieved as quickly, directly, and without dissipating energy or its drains/intersections as possible. Accordingly, the energy of such a scenario is the energy of the event itself, the impulse that triggered it, which simply does not dissipate and is not lost.
Thank you!
