Chariot of Souls
The cosmic intent engendered by the Supreme Predator is the great cycle that ensures the continuous mutual exchange of the power of life and the power of awareness, thereby sustaining the Predator’s own existence.
Yet the original essence of this process, its hidden driving force, is the striving for self-knowledge of the Great Spirit; therefore, in any case, the circle is always a spiral, and movement along it constitutes the evolutionary path of the global collective.
In this spiral motion of the world process, two components can be distinguished: the horizontal movement — the “cycle,” which constantly attracts embodied beings and emphasizes the ‘meaninglessness’ of existence — and the vertical movement — the Merkavah — the “Chariot of the Most High.”
Together the two modes of movement form the vortex, the primary form of energy in motion.
However, for the quadripolar quaternary that underpins any vortex to acquire the capacity for horizontal movement, each of its poles must possess an inner driving impulse, and there must be a firm central axis at the center.
Let us consider both of these components.
Any stable element gains momentum when it has a dual nature. The potential difference between the poles of the binary creates that impulse — what matters is only that the poles of the binary do not neutralize one another.
For example, the energetic structure of any person always contains all four primordial elements. It is rare to find people in whose energy makeup a single element clearly dominates. If that person’s other elements are suppressed, their motion becomes poorly organized. However, if the element complementary to the dominant element is also distinctly present in that structure, the possibility of purposeful movement arises. For instance, a person dominated by air can move through water, and a person governed by fire needs support from earth. All that is required to set such a system in motion is an external impulse.
Yet a unified system is formed when all four variants of energetic structure come together: fire supported by earth, earth driven by fire, air moving over water, and water carried by the winds — together they form a quaternary of unprecedented vitality.
This is especially true if a Fifth element is added to this quaternary — spirit, resting on matter and binding and integrating all four elements. This axis supports the entire structure.
Such a formation has unbreakable solidity and boundless potential for movement. It is thus that the Chariot is formed, able to rush through all worlds, through darkness to any height.
In fact, any perfect magical action must have the structure of a perfect vortex — the Chariot. We have already considered how to create a perfect Vortex of realization — the Ritual action, the eight steps of which form the quadripolar quaternary, while the operator serves as the ‘Fifth element’ of the “Fifth element.”
No less promising is the formation, on this principle, of a group of magi — the “Magical Family.”
However, note that despite the stability and solidity of the Chariot itself, the initial impulse still comes from outside.
In the case of a Ritual, this initial impulse is typically provided by a Magical Sickle — a Pentacle, a Lamen, a spell, the presence of a master, or another traditional source of energy. Moreover, it is usually at this point that most difficulties arise: even a perfectly conceived and conducted Ritual can prove fruitless if there is no “spark” — the jolt that triggers the whole process.
In the case of a “family,” the energy must also come from outside, from the preceding link in the magical chain.
continuity of tradition, whose importance is often mentioned, has two vital tasks — first, it reduces the number of errors, and second, it can provide that impulse.
Therefore, for maximum effectiveness of the work, a magus must not only correctly form the Vortex but also find the right source of the vortex’s energy, its prime mover.
