Runes and the Mind

We have already discussed, since any living being, including a human, is a psychophysiological system, a stream of consciousness manifested in its body, in one or another body. Any effective approaches aimed at developing, expanding, and liberating the mind touch upon its foundations, and sufficiently intense and targeted manipulations of the body always affect the state of mind.

In other words, if it seems to us that we can control the mind while neglecting the body — we are mistaken; just as we are mistaken in believing that what we do with our body has nothing to do with our mind.

When it comes to ascetics who seemingly forget or even consciously mortify their body, yet achieve great success in ordering and refining the mind — it is important to understand that they do not neglect the mind’s support; they simply shift the focus of their attention from the “material,” “physical” level of existence of this support to its subtler, energetic or informational layers of manifestation. It is important to remember that, for example, Bodhidharma not only spent 9 years contemplating the wall of a cave but also developed a kung fu system, and Milarepa was an unsurpassed master of the yoga of inner fire — tummo.

We have already noted that one of the most effective systems for developing the mind, which, at the same time, is also a powerful reality-transforming approach, is Rune Magic — galdr.

At the same time, it should be clear that any interaction with Runic vectors always occurs on two levels — psychic and macrocosmic; any act of galdr is an inscribing of a rune simultaneously into the fabric of matter and mind.

At the same time, since Runes are elementary vectors, quanta of energy of reality’s becoming, their primary expression is always precisely energetic; they are always active and always demand and evoke surges of activity in the manifested world.

It is impossible to activate Runes in a weakened state of mind; it is impossible to be an Eril without a strong will; it is impossible to rely on the Vector of realization without having developed steadfast intention and indomitable desire.

Runic magic is always a path of action, a path of battle, a path of outward activity which, of course, rests upon equally intense inner processes.

In this regard, even when it comes to “inner” Runic work, it is first always clearly and substantially expressed outwardly, and second always requires a strong psychic energy and high libido. Simple “meditations on the Runes” and blissful “contemplation of the Runes” are alien to the Vectors of will; they often cause harm both to the mind and to its foundations because they always activate processes to which such a psyche is not ready, cannot, or does not want to respond adequately, and therefore, even if such dysfunction is ignored or denied, its effect sooner or later will become obvious.

Accordingly, before beginning work with the Runes, it is necessary to ensure body and mind are prepared for this work, to make sure they have the necessary tone and strength reserve that will allow them to withstand the pressure of Vedic energy.

Of all magical tools, Runes are least suited to weak practitioners, least compatible with mental sluggishness and a flabby body.

Neglect of such an understanding risks causing harm both to the operator and to their surroundings, since the energy of the Runes — vod — is a storm, a hurricane, a forest fire, which requires an iron will for its control, and without such control can destroy any careless traveler in its path.

  1. My acquaintance with the Runes began with the book ‘Runes and Vector Description of the World’. Huge gratitude to the author for this incredibly interesting work and for the inspiration.

It seems to me that the connection between a person and runes works in such a way that when a person carves runes, he changes the direction and intensity of world energies to the extent of his body’s abilities. Cutting a rune with the intention of healing from fever while thinking about a new pair of shoes, and then about the neighbor, her husband, etc., is dangerous for both the sick person and everyone mentioned.

  3. Saen Yes, that is clear. I meant the harm from using runes for a surrounding that has nothing to do with the process. For example, it is often said in the incantation “without harm to household pets.” The question is how and why this can be harmful, for example, for a cat.

  4. But how does a sick and physically exhausted person heal themselves with runes? I have read from experienced rune masters how they have experienced such states (after certain magical procedures or illnesses from magical attacks or just illnesses) and how they applied runes to themselves and it restored them.

    • Theoretically, the “reverse transformation” of energy is possible – the transition of the Energy of Awareness into Life energy. Magicians use this maneuver in extreme situations. Accordingly, Runes can facilitate and direct this transfer.

  6. Oh, yes… I want to add that for the successful realization of Eril, high neuromuscular conductivity is important – fast and precise movements, or slow and totally controlled ones. Sometimes a great physical strength and long endurance, sitting ability, wild trance, chaotic movement with the aim of gaining structure, sharp sight, hearing, breathing, smell, potency, and erection are needed. All this should be accompanied by the corresponding ‘biochemistry’ – hormones and their feelings, the presence of nutrients in the body and in the blood, control over what is already present and how to ‘inject’ the necessary ‘constructs’ – corresponding substances (it’s not necessary to know all this in detail, although it wouldn’t hurt; it’s possible to create just on ‘instincts,’ ‘intuition’).
    Nutrition should ideally be of natural origin with high ‘elementality,’ but also sports nutrition, dietary supplements (creatine, vitamins, herbs, adaptogens, etc.) mixed with the main food also go well together.
    There should be a high threshold of excitability and the ability (skill) to also execute rapid braking, fixing the psychophysical state to the ‘+/-‘ initial condition that preceded the realization of galdra; otherwise, it can ‘seal up’ (neurosis, depression, fears, etc.).
    And of course, runic magic is not for ‘chips and cola’ and fantasies of obtaining results without realizing that by starting to cut runes, you are entering into a battle, in a struggle (ukr.).

  7. Good day. I am interested in runes. I’ve been irresistibly drawn to them for six months. I started to research and read articles online. I meditated on Scandinavian, Slavic, and Russian runes. Funny dancing little people. But that’s not the point. There is a master called Dobrynya, an expert with a runic mill. His explanations are accessible and clear to me as a newcomer in this field. So, it hasn’t been a month since he began to launch magical attacks on me and he has started to rudely pressure me into studying runes. In reality, I didn’t see any runic seals and the master turned out to be an ordinary wizard. There are many of them now online. They prey on those who are interested in spiritual development. From personal experience, I can compile a list of 10 names of these gurus. I really want to believe that the respected Enmerkar is not one of them. Can one safely enjoy reading articles? Thank you.
