The Interworld and Its Inhabitants

One fact on which most mythological systems agree is the existence of a peculiar “Space between the Worlds.” The crossroads of the Worlds in Norse mythology, the Shi of the Celts, the “subcelestial” worlds of Christianity — all of these describe this rather heterogeneous, yet continuous space.
To begin, let’s clarify what is at issue. The point is that not every descriptive element can harmoniously coexist with every other. In other words, not everything that exists can be assigned to one of the worlds.

When attention, the dynamic aspect of the mind, cannot assemble from the energies entering its focus a stable picture of the world, it attempts to “fill” the logical and energetic gaps in that description with its own resources, to “fill them in,” and as a result creates an unstable space of perception that is called the Interworld. In this state, the mind can remain for quite a long time (for some beings — their entire lives), forming an extensive geography of the Interworld.
All inhabitants of the Interworld, by virtue of its inherently unstable and energetically incomplete nature, share a certain incompleteness of their nature.
The first part of the Interworld is formed by the so-called Elements and the Elementals that inhabit them. The European Tradition (from Paracelsus onward) calls Elementals Salamanders, Sylphs, Undines, and Gnomes depending on which part of our world they are projections of. The Tradition calls the Principle of Burning (“Hot mobility“) the Principle of Fire, whose elementals are Salamanders,
the Principle of Lightness (“Cold Mobility”) the Principle of Air, whose elementals are Sylphs,
the Principle of Penetration (“Warm Passivity”) the Principle of Water, whose elementals are Undines,
and the Principle of Solidity (“Cold Passivity”) the Principle of Earth, whose elementals are Gnomes (often unjustifiably confused with the dwarfs of the “real world,” Svartalfheim).
Thus, Elementals are simply projections of the corresponding properties into the Elements; however, as with everything from the standpoint of the magical view of the world, they are vectorial wills — beings. Their limitation, their incompleteness, is manifested in the fact that each group of elementals contains none of the properties of the other groups.
The next kind of limitation that gives rise to a class of Interworld inhabitants is disembodiment. In other words, when an embodied being (that is, an inhabitant of one of the worlds) loses the ability to perceive its world in full (usually as a result of decay of the body — the mind’s vehicle in that world), its awareness moves into the Elements. The idea of such a “borderline” state between life and death is also widely known. This is both the “Purgatory” of Catholicism and the “Isles of the Blessed” of Celtic myth.
The Tradition calls such disembodied beings “Elementers.” They are the favored target of all kinds of necromancy. However, Elementers are not only rather morbid half-living beings. It was precisely such an extension of existence that the ancient Egyptians sought: their embalming tradition was aimed at slowing disembodiment and delaying (for as long as possible) a stay in the Elements. It was there that pharaohs went with their servants and treasure. It was there they built cities, believing that such a “half-life” was still better than death.

The third kind of limitation is the absence of free will in certain beings. This concerns the ministering spirits. The “Demons” of goetia, the “Inorganic beings” of Castaneda, the “subcelestial spirits” of St. Theodora — these are all likewise the so-called “grey” inhabitants of the Interworld. Tradition classifies them under the name “Elementaries.”

Finally, the fourth group of Interworld inhabitants consists of beings who populated it in prehistoric times — the so-called “enchanted peoples,” the Tuatha de Danaan and other Fairies, driven from our world by humans, and those who withdrew voluntarily (some — to Lessalfheim, to the homeland of their ancestors, others — into the Interworld, the Sid).
Thus, the Interworld is a highly heterogeneous assemblage of sentient beings. What unites them is precisely the absence of that distinct “coloration” characteristic of the “real” inhabitants of each of the worlds. Therefore, despite all its heterogeneity, the Interworld is perceived as a continuous space through which one can travel from any world to any other.
Moreover, any transition from world to world inevitably passes through the Interworld, because such a transition inevitably produces a state of awareness in which the mind can no longer form either a complete picture of the world it’s leaving or the world it’s entering. And that state is the Interworld.
Crowning the picture of the Interworld is the majestic figure of the Guardian of the Rift. Veles among the Slavs, Heimdall among the Scandinavians, this mighty god guards the worlds, for any mixing of the worlds and the Interworld could lead to the destruction of the cosmos and a return to primordial chaos.

Can we say that the interworld described here and the dream world are one and the same 🙂 ?
And how can one practically carry out journeys between worlds?
Not quite the same. The dream world is interworld refracted through the consciousness “based” in one of the worlds. If consciousness completely immerses in the “dream world” and loses contact with its world, then for it, the dream turns into an afterlife.
And what about contacts with inorganic beings in dreams?
If they do not belong to our subconscious, how can we contact them?
And also… who guards the boundaries of the dream world? Is it possible to overcome them, and will it be easier than in a normal state of consciousness?
The boundaries of the dream world are guarded by the same Guardian as the other Boundaries – Veles.
Regarding the “inorganic beings”, sorry, I don’t know anything. Any being is a system, an organism, thus it is organic…
Perhaps we are talking about either “serving” spirits or – elementals.
And contact with them is a contact of consciousness, relying on the appropriate conduit “the dream body”, but drawing energy from the “real” world.
🙂
quote
The third type of limitations is the lack of Free will among beings. This refers to the “Serving” spirits, “Demons” of goetia, “Inorganic beings” of Castaneda.
…
No matter what they are called… how is contact with them possible from the world of dreams?
Therion – perhaps I can answer your question, I know a little about Castaneda’s “inorganic beings” –
(from the primary source) KaKa writes that they come themselves to “get acquainted” 🙂
Here it is worth commenting that the author of “Journey to Ixtlan” and the author of all the books about non-organics are different people, and the latter is clearly not quite sane, in my humble opinion, of course. Behind the text, the author is always visible, and if this is not obvious to you, then there is no need to perceive the text as a guide to any actions, in this case, undoubtedly leading to pitfalls.
Thank you Misha 🙂 … in the “primary source” everything is more or less clear, although even there acquaintance happens with the help of the so-called “scouts” … and actually, the journey from the dream world to the world of inorganic beings (the interworld should be understood) is only possible through the use of that very scout, otherwise the guardian interferes.
But still, I agree with the blog author that dreaming is “the refracted consciousness of the interworld”, i.e., everything that did not fit into the conscious material world of events and sensations can be found in the “world of dreams”. However, the operator (the dreamer) does not cross the boundaries of worlds but simply dreams himself in unrealized aspects.
Therion,
I understood a bit differently:
“The world of inorganic beings” is a part of the interworld. And the “dream world” is indeed the entire interworld, just seen through the “eyes of the dreamer”. “Scouts” are the same “inorganics”, just their specification is such – spies/conduits. You can freely fall asleep – enter the dream world, which means the Guardian does not interfere. However, the “dream world” does not mix with the human world – that is the action of the Guardian.
The operator-dreamer precisely crosses the boundaries of worlds – from the human world to the “dream world”. And from there it’s not far to the “inorganics” if you are eager to go there 🙂
But to avoid a long discussion about KaKa’s creativity, I simply recommend rereading his books, as I think that’s always useful (especially regarding safety: “inorganics” of dreams are ordinary predators, hunting dreamers, which is why they come themselves to “get acquainted”).
And there are plenty of other strictly specialized “dream” resources where this topic can be discussed, but as for me – it’s better not to discuss but to refer to the primary source.
K.K. unfortunately does not provide clear answers to these questions… practice gives answers, and it shows that the “dream world” is not the interworld, as one cannot meet fairies there, nor pharaohs 🙂 Everything that exists there is the animated overlay of our consciousness… Regarding predators, I agree, but regarding the threshold transition, no, this transition is a rather serious matter (otherwise, why is there a Guardian?), and if it happens with a simple falling into a doze… no, I think that’s impossible.
Therion, allow me to disagree with you. Fairies and Pharaohs do not appear in “ordinary” dreams due to the habit of the sleeper. They do not contain enough of “our” components in their description to penetrate to them easily. And Veles is the Lord of Dreams, so there is always a Threshold, but it is not always noticed, in the sense of being unconscious of it.
What are “ordinary dreams”? ?? I know of dreams and visions, the difference between which lies in the level of awareness (for dreams this level approaches 0, while for visions it approaches the maximum)…
Besides, I probably was misunderstood since your answer only confirms my thoughts.
“Ordinary” dreams are spontaneously arising, without a specific intention to look for pharaohs 🙂 wherever it leads, and I believe I understood you correctly.
I read about the Between-Worlds. And regarding what I read, a question arises – where is the Between-Worlds located on the Kabbalistic Tree? Is it Yesod, or perhaps the Path Tau from Malkut to Yesod?
The interworld is meant to be interworld, so as not to be a channel (cinnorot). It is the space between cinnorot and sephirot.
until a person has not conquered or tamed the beast within himself. The guardian of the threshold will not let him in, and the evil hunting dogs will guard the threshold not allowing you in, but as soon as you conquer it, the Guardian of the Threshold becomes your friend and guide.
And is the between-worlds perceived more as emptiness or filled with various beings, light, sound, or does this depend on various circumstances?
If I understand correctly, a dream is the personal energy of the psycho-cosmos. In order to prevent the outpouring of this energy, as well as the invasion from the outside forces of the macrocosm, a threshold guardian is needed. This guardian is a differentiable force. And at the moment of opening the gates of power, we either assimilate this energy (make it non-differentiable), or neutralize it.
That is, if the gatekeeper allows, what happened in the interworld is dragged into the reality, the dream comes true. If the guardian does not wish, it remains just a dream.
I would like to clarify some concepts. “There is no death, there are just particles of “roots” which Romans later called “elements,” and they are the ones that disunite”… i.e. elementals are pure principles. So upon depersonalization, the breakdown into elements occurs. Why, then, does breakdown not occur in Elementaries? What is preventing the breakdown? What is their composition in such a case?
Elementaries are held if there is some support in this world – a mummified body, a strong postmortem impulse, or another anchoring point.
Numen: What prevents disintegration is the stability of the basis of matter, element, system. The basis is the root of the element. Systems are composed of elements. When a system is created during its evolution, embodiment it develops the roots of the elements from which it is created. Regarding elements and carriers, they are not pure principles. If there is a carrier of the element, he is able to change under the influence on the carrier of the element or influence on the element. It is problematic to isolate the element in its pure form. The law is that the System, matter during disintegration inevitably retains the particles of its primal foundation, i.e., the “roots” of elements. And what exactly the System consists of and how many elements it has is a question of the “roots,” of the “root” in the case of the elemental and their carrier. The speed of evolution or disintegration of the system depends on the rate of change of the state of matter, the system’s influence on it. The more roots the system contains, the greater its chances of being destroyed. For this reason, most humanoid carriers tend to choose a minimal number of elements whenever possible. The carrier, element, and its interests are represented. This seems to be an easier and simpler way to live.
“Non-organics” are servile spirits, demons (disembodied beings). They usually lack form (or have an abstract form in their worlds). They possess consciousness and intellect but do not have human structures (soul and spirit).
For humans, they can either be neutral or behave like predators. Some may act as allies. Scouts are travelers between worlds, transport spirits. They can be used for movement between worlds (like a tram). Emissaries are spirits that serve as an interface for mediation (translators) between the language of spirits and humans. They act as translators, conveying details to a person with awakened consciousness in a dream (usually in a clear male voice)…
A couple of times I saw unusual beings in the forest. The first time, the creature was gray. With twig arms. With gray round eyes.
And the second time, in a small grove, there were two swirling, I don’t know how to describe them, greenish beings in green dresses.
So it wasn’t a glitch. That’s reassuring.
Dear Enmerkar, to what group of the Interworld do leshys and mermaids belong? For example, the leshy, if it is an element, belongs to the air, and its habitat is the forests and forest paths (but it’s hardly to be called an elf), moreover, it can also “play” with space and transform, which is similar to the god Veles. However, the Forest Master can also be a buried corpse, just like the mermaids were cursed drowned women, but it could also be a true force. If, for example, such a phenomenon as a domovoy, I considered as a concentrated energy formed by humans, then the leshy becomes the energetic field of the forest, and the cursed (unbaptized) people join its egregore? Then how is the forest egregore connected with Veles? I can’t understand what kind of force inhabits untouched taiga forests 🙂
Leshies and mermaids are not inhabitants of the Interworld) They are inhabitants of our world.
https://enmerkar.com/en/way/stikhials-lesser-gods
Thank you, dear Enmerkar. That’s how it is! 🙂 Just now more and more the forest “smells” of man and not of the forest, and rivers and water bodies are “dying.” Man is displacing the Junior Gods.
How so, mermaids are elementals; how did elementals manage to live again in our world, and based on legends, to ‘marry’ embodied beings?
Unfortunately, Milita, you are right. I will never forget the feelings when at the Seminar, in the Power places of Enmerkar, we crossed the boundary (the rocky ridge) of the “ordinary” world and the world filled with Forces. The difference is huge.
But lamenting human deeds is futile. A better option is to go into nature and populate it with those you consider appropriate. Create a guardian, entrust it to keep the order.
Action is a much better way.
“The wild man” Instead of herbs and flowers Highways. Instead of a starry sky Roofs. We lock beasts In cages, Breathing exhaust fumes. We pollute the rivers with waste, Unmercifully chop trees… And once our ancestors Addressed their prayers to them. They preserved every ear And link Of our Living Mother Nature. And now… metal roars louder, Exhausting forest species. And sitting on a lifeless Throne, Man disdainfully Snorts… He has grown so unaccustomed To nature, That he calls her Wild.(c)
Hello! Is there a projection of the Interim (the space of tex) onto the planisphere of Earth? What did Prometheus (Heracles) close with the Caucasus Mountains?
Hello. Yes, there is. Currently, the space of TEX corresponds to the area of St. Peter’s in Rome.
Veles does not guard the borders of the worlds. They are guarded by the god of borders, CHUR, and his servants. At each crossing of the Earth’s magnetic field lines, there is a passage. However, there are anomalous refractions that open portals on certain days. The guardian beings can easily kill, as they are not kind. They really dislike crossing doors and cannot pass through them. They also do not like windows. They prefer the corners of rooms and the center of the room in which they manifest. Those whom you call gnomes belong to many races. Mostly, they resemble bloated devils because to float, they accumulate gas in their bodies. The gas also serves as a narcotic, where they hide from predators and conceal portals. They emit a smell of sulfur. Portals are their protection from their world. Portals protect against entities that consume grace. These are various creatures in the form of intelligent shadows that suck all emotions and powers. Soul eaters, consciousness eaters. Each person has totems; by controlling them, one can travel between worlds. When you do not keep them under control, they simply live in the other world. But eventually, they will be killed there, and your life in this world will end. The worlds are interconnected. It becomes increasingly difficult to survive when your consciousness’s glow colors your totems in a different hue and makes them vulnerable to predators. The totems feed on your energy from this world. I have tried to instill totems in real beings, and they fully bend them to their will. I tried with a bird, a cat, and a dog. I have not experimented on humans, but people are the same vessels for management. In the spiritual world, when I called the totems just by thinking of them, they devoured all the ghosts and entities. It’s a feast for them to consume the entities of various magicians and larvae. Because of this, the totems solidify their materiality. They can even move objects. However, they need to return to their world because as long as they are here, their bodies are frozen there. And they may be devoured and killed there. Everywhere, there is natural selection and the absorption of beings by one another. However, they only consume those who approach the edge of their visibility out of curiosity. I also do not summon my totems from the other world because they consume totems from all surrounding people, and if they eat all, then people around will start falling ill and dying en masse. I originally had 21 totems. In this incarnation, I have only eight. Usually, people have 7 totems, each located at one of the chakras. Each chakra is a passage into a circle of the other world where this totem resides. During life, totems can come and go, absorbing or replacing those lost from deceased relatives. Christians, other Satanists, and charlatans have buried the bodies of those like me for centuries so that we do not transmit knowledge about humanity, about all aspects of existence and formation of consciousnesses. Right now, there are about 3,700 of us left on Earth out of 10,000. I mean those who remember. For me to fully regain my mind in the next life, my body needs to be burned, and all the bodies that have taken pieces of me materialized in this world should also be burned. Many wish to annihilate all of humanity to avoid waiting for an eternity, but I believe that one can recreate the original self peacefully. The real material world is also merely an intermediate condensed world. In the otherworld, the creator’s grace is scarce. Indeed, the creator’s grace is the fundamental element from which everything is made. I have caught various spirits in this world and experimented on them. I was curious about their composition. So, they consist of a rarefied cloud of bacteria and viruses combined into a single consciousness for the convenience of managing a symbiotic colony. It is for this reason that they fear silver, garlic, and penicillin. These are microparasites and viruses. Totems consist of your own viruses and parasites that seep through micro-cracks between realities. There are three condensed earths like ours. Insects fly between three material worlds. But people have not yet established a connection between Earth 1, Earth 2, and Earth 3, all of which are here. Besides, there are plenty of non-material lands too… I could talk for hours… I felt sorry for Veles. That’s why I wrote this comment. Veles does not guard the portals.
Brother, there is a lot here). One cannot tell everything. And there is no need.
