Fatigue of the Mind
Since development along one’s Way is the natural state of the mind, its innate tendency, it is also the most harmonious condition for the individual — that is, it is accompanied by minimal Power losses with maximal intensity.
In other words, development (in the true sense of the word — that is, the unfolding and actualization of individuality) is the most balanced state of the mind, the state to which the mind always gravitates and in which it feels most comfortable. All other states are not so harmonious, and therefore a whole system of obfuscation is embedded in the mind, deceiving it and driving it from a more balanced and productive state into a less effective, more pathological state.
The above is summed up in the familiar notion that development confers Power. Moreover, this statement is true in both directions: on the one hand, the closer a given Way of development is to the mind’s natural state, the more Power it confers; conversely, the more Power a Way gives, the closer it is to the mind’s natural inclination.
The task of the Magus, constructing his Way, is precisely to thread the elements of that Way onto the thread of his life and strive for greater correspondence between that Way and his individual natural state — not only increasing the clarity of his vision and the adequacy of his actions, but also reducing energy dispersion.
At first, when the mind is still heavily disordered and conditioned to a victim mentality, removing foreign elements from it can be tiring and even painful. However, with proper guidance in development, understanding soon follows, and then the feeling that the attained state is not only more «correct» but also more natural for the mind, and the Way ceases to be tiring; on the contrary, it proves to be the most balanced state.
Accordingly, if a mind that believes it is developing remains for a long time in a fatigued state, in a deadlock or in depression, this is a sure sign that the direction of its movement has been chosen incorrectly. Of course, Obstacles on the Way are inevitable, and, of course, with increasing intensity they become higher and more dangerous, but overcoming these obstacles is no longer a tiresome necessity; on the contrary, it becomes as natural as the ascent to the peaks of realization itself. Tension and intensity, which are properties of the mind’s primordial fiery nature, do not fatigue the mind; on the contrary, they are natural to it, and what proves tiring is the withdrawal from them — the cooling and calming of the mind. If any Power acting on the mind leads to its prolonged, chronic fatigue, then that Power is certainly not constructive and does not lead in the right direction. Violence is destructive because it draws the mind away from its natural state toward artificial, externally imposed constructs, and is accompanied by the dispersion of Power and fatigue. At the same time, one must remember the other extreme: the illusion of pleasure may be produced both by the loss of Power and by contact with large external sources of it; however, this pleasure is draining — it is like a narcotic’s effect or intoxicating substances. Therefore it is very important for the Magus to examine his state from both perspectives: on the one hand, to check how harmonious his movement is, how natural it feels to him; and on the other, to determine whether his pleasure in movement is merely intoxication from Power’s flow, whether it leads to the genuine actualization of his potentials, to the real manifestation of individuality and a strengthening of self-identity. Having found the boundary between these extremes, the mind truly becomes capable of growth and its movement truly becomes creative, productive, and liberating.

Increasing power leads to increased responsibility due to increased influence on the consciousness of those around. Yes, that is somewhat burdensome, as it requires a reconsideration of one’s behavior and heightened control of thoughts and emotions. Obsessive thoughts related to fear are particularly destructive. Understanding that no one can make me be under their influence without my consent helps to extricate myself.
I watch modern clips, read statements. For some reason, many think that mindless imitation and copying beautifies them. This is not true. Only what is done and said from the heart beautifies and fills. Only this has power.
By the ‘Power,’ one can understand different states of energy. It is both accumulated energy power and the subjective state of each specific energy. For example, when we share poetry or thoughts, we amplify and generate energy of thoughts connected with the idea. The power here will be in the revelation and purity multiplied by the strength of Creativity.
I believe infants have more power than most adults. As they grow older, conditioning, adaptation to society, etc. occurs. According to Vedic knowledge, sexual life in young men in ancient civilizations began after about 21 years. Due to sexual energy, the development of subtle structures occurred. Today, the main preventive measure against fatigue, I consider informational posts. How many people, for example, have fallen into an emotional trap because of events in Ukraine? Too many predators are eager to feast on human flesh (that is, human energy). It’s better to stroll through the park sometimes than to stare at the TV zombie box.
A baby has less trash between consciousness and the Force. But at the same time, they have little knowledge of what to do with this Force. Small children love to run, jump; energy flows… and then society throws them trash that blocks the use of energy. Most children have no concept of “tired consciousness”!
In my opinion, an infant is not an ideal in terms of power. For if the world were so, it would be definitely somewhat different… Up to the theory that all we see – is done by infants with their power) In my opinion, they are carriers of individuality, which is often preserved in us in pre-personal structures. And it is this that one seeks to return to. Also, in my view, infants are expressions of the principle of receptivity. Here I can also add, as a person who remembers myself quite clearly from the earliest age – thoughts and people are then perceived specifically. A person carrying the idea of destruction, like a pressing energy on the head. And you cannot escape that or say no. To me, this roughly represents the mechanism of ‘evil eye’. And by this and many other indications, such as feral children raised by animals, we see that if a child is a bearer of individuality, he has almost no resources to preserve it.
