The Dance of Power
Imbuing potential being with the living light of consciousness — the flow of Power — has been described in many ways, more or less accurately reflecting the character of this movement.
Yet in all cultures one apt image of Power’s flow has been the notion of its universal Dance.
A dance is a form of movement in which the harmony of the current moment prevails over long-term goals; in other words — a dance is not movement from one place to another, but movement focused on itself, on its instantaneous beauty and harmony.
Since the Power, though it seeks to fill all vessels, is not centered on the flow of time but exists in the Eternal Present, its movement bears that moment-valuing quality proper to dance.
Put differently, the Power has no past and no future, since both past and future possess only potential existence, whereas the Power is wholly present.
Another important characteristic of dance as a form of the Power’s flow is rhythm.
The movement of Power — from creation to destruction and back to creation again — obeys the same rhythm on both macro- and microcosmic levels.
Accordingly, by entering the rhythm of the dance, a being comes into resonance with the world’s creative processes and energy movements.
Dance is an act of creation. It creates a new space around it and evokes in the dancer a new, higher sense of self. A dance can become cosmogonic if it awakens evolutionary energies dormant within a person.
It is therefore no surprise that, for example, Fairies constantly sing and dance — thus expressing their harmony with the Power’s universal dance.
Also, the great gods of various religions were often depicted dancing — the clearest example is Shiva’s dance — the cosmic cycle of creation and destruction, governed by the supreme harmony of being. Shiva is called the Cosmic Dancer, for his mission is fulfilled through dance: performing it, the god destroys all that is old and opens a new life cycle.
Sacred and magical dance has long been an integral part of the culture of every civilization. Shamans and priests, mystics and dervishes, through the music and rhythm of dance, entered states of trance and enlightenment. Such ritual dance was always a synthesis of spiritual movement and body movement. In many cases the participants embodied various forces of nature, entering into harmony with their rhythms.
It is therefore understandable that all movements in magical rituals are, in essence, of the nature of dance: the greater the emphasis on the present moment, the deeper the immersion in that present moment, the greater the ritual’s effectiveness.
Moreover, the more the very character of the Magus’s life movement resembles the smoothness and beauty of a dance, the more effective and harmonious his way. At the same time, energy awakening level depends on the level of participation and the meaning invested in the present movement. It must be remembered that every gesture and movement of the dance carries symbolic meaning. Accordingly, the more meaning and awareness invested in movement, the more Power enters the Magus’s life.

Dance as you act, act as you dance.
The article pleased me. After all, my creative pseudonym is ‘Dancer in Fire’)
+ Dancer… +
Through sparks and transparent colors
You will see Beauty, there is no end to It
It lay on everything where Light fell
It does not love places where there is no change
The Dancer enclosed energy into form
With graceful movement, He amazed us
He moved smoothly without repetitions
The genius of pure spontaneity enchanted us
He flowed easily, like flowing water
Beauty rushed like a crystal stream
With movement, He wanted to speak of Love
Burning in the Spiritual Fire again and again
There is no beginning here, just to catch
Then, effortlessly, just play
Merge, forget about yourself in silence,
What else does a forgotten Soul need?
