One’s Gift

From the discussion of Benedictums, with which Magi may be endowed, one might have formed the impression that these gifts are reserved for a select few.

At the same time, the notion of the Way, Orlög — a cornerstone of Western Magic — among other things is based on the conviction that every Wayfarer possesses a unique gift.

In other words, the Way is not merely a dreary march through a hostile world in a futile hope of liberation; it is the active realization of one’s potential, of one’s talents, including magical ones — benedictums.

A close examination shows that virtually everyone has a special ability that aids the flow of power through the world. The transcendent reality, seeking to assert itself in the world’s self-awareness, endows embodied beings with adaptations that aid their survival as individuated consciousnesses.

It is clear that the uncovering of such an ability, the discovery of one’s gift, is extremely undesirable for the Parasite of consciousness, and so it will do everything to instill in its host the belief that they are “just like everyone else.”

Mass culture, suppressing individuality in all its manifestations, constantly teaches that any deviation from the accepted standard is “abnormal,” carrying a strongly negative connotation, and — if not literally identical to “madness” — then at least close to it. Such an idea is intended not only to make it easier to control the faceless masses of semi-conscious individuals, but also to fundamentally prevent the possibility of the manifestation of such a powerful individuating factor as the benedictum.

Traditional Schools, Orders, and Brotherhoods have long actively sought people with benedictums valuable to magic and have assisted in the development and application of such gifts.

One such phenomenon is the institute of the Keepers of the Seals, which we discussed earlier, as well as congregations of Vow-Dispensers, Sin-Absorbers, or Exorcists found in the esoteric Catholic tradition.

The magical tradition also tends to form magical chains composed of bearers of identical or similar benedictums, which allows not only more effective use of these gifts but also their coordinated deployment.

It follows that every person, in addition to talents in music, literature, or visual arts, also possesses a certain “magical” ability — akin to a talent for teaching, the capacity to keep a Seal, to break oaths, to foresee the future, or to heal illnesses.

We emphasize: there are no people who are not magically gifted, just as there are no “untalented” people in the ordinary sense. But, as with “ordinary” abilities, benedictums require attention and development, without which they do not manifest, and it is quite possible that someone may live their whole life as an ordinary clerk never knowing they had the ability to “burn” sins or to expel demons.

Note that for successful development, it should not reveal itself either too quickly or too slowly. For example, if a person with the ability to open portals begins to use that ability without having learned to control it, the consequences of their actions can be catastrophic. At the same time, if a person who, for instance, can transform into an eagle never uses that ability, their Way will remain incomplete, and their incarnation will be less effective.

For the Magus embarking on the Way, the search for one’s gift is crucial for advancement, and the proper unveiling of a benedictum is one of the conditions for effective progress.

  1. Tell me, can a seeing mage determine another person’s benedictum or is this only possible for that person’s Teacher?

    • Seeing your gift is one of the components of self-awareness 🙂 In fact, everyone knows about their gift; we are just not given the opportunity to hear ourselves.

  2. By the way, how much can one rely on horoscopes in such situations? After all, a horoscope can determine preferred paths of activity. How suitable are they?

    • To be honest, I don’t understand astrology at all. But I think that from a well-compiled horoscope, you can obtain certain information in this direction as well.

  3. Enmerkar, how can a person correctly determine their benedictum, so as not to bang against the window like a butterfly, not seeing the open window? How can one find their Path, how to feel that you are on the right path, that this is yours and that development in this direction will bring you the most benefit? If it should be a meditation, then what theme should this meditation have?

    • Surely, many have told you about your gift – remember. You heard about it both in childhood and later, but you just didn’t pay attention.

  4. There aren’t too many good astrologers; it’s not easy to correctly draw a Natal chart. But the difficulty is also that practicing astrologers are often focused on practical questions such as health, money, career, family… so at best, they will only accurately indicate your ‘direction’ in a mundane/manifested sense… Look for an Astrologer-Mage – the insights will be broader and deeper 🙂

  5. Having a ‘gift,’ in my view, is a rather troublesome and responsible affair) After all, waking up on the wrong side of the bed with the controller, ‘daring’ to ask the ‘sorcerer’ for a ticket, one can scorch the whole train along with a part of the railway and their current incarnation. There are many trigger points for access to supernatural abilities, for example, at a minimum (bu-ha-ha))) a voluntary and conscious break with a big muffin or a phase of martyrdom… alas, or… and even that would be quite enough to become president, for instance, of the Americans, but ‘a mage’ – no)
    HowkatakakAmazemaynotbe…

  6. So how can one really manage to discover their magical gift (and worldly talent wouldn’t hurt either)? What SPECIAL techniques are there for this?

  7. For some reason, I mainly remember the bad things that were said about me from childhood, besides, I spent most of it in dreams and fantasies and remember little of reality. If there is anything resembling a gift, it can be attributed to general magical abilities. Perhaps the time hasn’t come yet to understand, or I need to continue searching?

    • Remember what you loved to do in your free time as a child. Sewing, drawing, counting… – use that energy as your starting point.

  8. In this context, the very word Gift does not quite fully describe the situation with innate Abilities/Talents. This Gift is not necessarily given as a gift 🙂 It can turn out (when and if you recognize it) that it is rather a Duty or, if you will, a Predestined Ability… Think about it – are you ready to search and learn so persistently?

  9. Unfortunately, not everyone is ready to take Responsibility and take on Duties… A Gift is precisely to have the ability where others would fare worse… or not succeed at all. If you are ready, then the knowledge of your “Ability” or “Direction” will come… or kind people will help… 🙂 I think this is a good topic for separate discussion on the forum of the new site. If interested – open a topic… we will continue there.

  10. “Unfortunately, not everyone is ready to take Responsibility and take on Duties…” Responsibility balances Freedom, and Duties are balanced by Rights. The first “binary” pair relates to the category Spirit, the second – to Ego. In the latter case, it is not so much about Responsibility as about Duty. Thus, the Freedom that interests the mage is more expedient to seek on the scale of Spirit, rather than of personality. At the same time, Talents belong to personality. Evolutionary benefit, however, talents bring when they are not appropriated by personal ego, but manifest through a person’s individuality. Talent is a natural Gift; it comes and “seeps” not from a specific person, but through (!) them it presents itself to the world as a Gift. The bearer of the Gift is responsible for bringing into the world what they are endowed with, and the world will fully thank them.

    • From the perspective of the Magical myth, freedom is not an antithesis, it is not balanced by responsibility, but it is an integral of the binomial responsibility – independence. Although, of course, it all depends on the definition of concepts. As for the “expediency” of seeking freedom – each mage decides for themselves at what scale they will search for it – in the form of undifferentiated spirit or in the form of differentiated individuality.

  11. Naturally, the self. This is a question of the range of manifestation. Differentiated individuality is fragmentary. In that range, individual freedom is always limited by the freedom of other differentiated individualities, which in turn will prompt the expansion of the range.

  12. Not at all necessary. The degree of manifestation depends not on the ego but on the degree of the embodied individuality accommodating the entire “fabric” of its being (the ego has rigid boundaries; it cuts off everything that it cannot accommodate). This is about refocusing individuality along the axis of Spirit (which is singular for the world), an animated, non-entropy manifestation. Centrocentrism in the ego narrows its range of manifestation (individual tasks of another order are realized).

    • We are simply speaking different languages. In the direction of Magic that I present, there is no concept of “Spirit”, there is no concept of “ego”, and “centering on individuality” is a key task; therefore, the conversation is generally subjectless.

  13. “centering on individuality” is a key task.

And what is the very individuality centered on? That is what I am asking.

  14. Could you provide examples of “Gifts”, what they can be, apart from extrasensory perception, healing, clairvoyance. Surely, there are also very “narrowly specialized” ones – they are harder to see, right?

    • Well, why “narrowly specialized”?! A Gift is a Gift; its breadth is not necessarily obvious. And as for examples – I have known people with the gift of seeing energies, opening and closing portals, distinguishing people from “non-people”, driving away demons and even langoliers… there are many options.

  15. What will you do when your gift reveals itself and you master it? Why do you need it?

  16. It is not scary to be different, and trials and lessons are necessary! It’s just that a person doesn’t always receive what they expect; I feel others’ emotions, and believe me, they are not always pleasant. If we consider the gift as an opportunity to stand out, a lot of surprises await you…

  17. Differentiating from others and striving to stand out is not the same. And life did not promise to be constantly pleasant. Apparently, one will have to figure out what to do with such a gift to avoid harming oneself.

  18. You say that power itself knocks and reminds of itself…
Maybe so, I was told more than once as a child not to meddle in magical affairs. And when I was taken to seers and healers. They all said the same – don’t meddle. Although abilities manifested and still do.
What could be a gift that no one really wants to see in use?

  19. I… I don’t know if I have a gift, but I really want to have one. I feel that I am different… help me… what should I do?

    • Everyone is different, and everyone has a gift. The only question is how to find and develop it. For this, one needs to achieve honesty with oneself.

      • Enmerkar, how to know what to do with my gift?
And do I need to do anything with it at all if there’s a feeling that I don’t understand why it was given to me, that I am on a path and must discover new aspects or my abilities? If people practice and earn money without having even a fractional part of what you can do. And you feel that the gift is just one of the possibilities for discovering something more important, but you need to grow before you get to that importance.
        Is this position correct?
And one more question if you allow.
If there is a sense that you are becoming a target not just for parasites, but for parasites that live well in other people, sorcerers. Is it possible to somehow avoid confrontations with them? No matter how you hide, they see you and provoke you to become their victim.
Is the wisest choice to ignore? But if it doesn’t work, if these parasites are practically imposing war on you, are there ways not to start a war, but to resolve such a problem by ‘peaceful’ means?
Thank you in advance for your answer.

        • Forgive me, I couldn’t resist 🙂
If you have made a request for Power, you will have to accept all the battles that follow it. Because to possess Power, one must be able to manage it. Ignoring ‘the imposition of war’ won’t work – Power tests you. Use your Gift if you accepted it. Win – you will become stronger!

          • Thank you for your response. Just the biggest problem is that I did not submit a request for Power. There was a moment when I tried to rid myself of it. If you knew how it changed, it’s a certainty. Now I am not just laughing, I am rolling on the ground with laughter.
Your advice is very good. Thank you.
Especially for the acknowledgment that Power tests you. I missed that point. Now I understand better what is happening.

          • Tavita Schauta, it’s not so straightforward. Not all imposed battles are truly yours, and sometimes it takes more strength to ‘ignore’ than to react in kind. A very great honesty with oneself and control are needed, so you don’t just charge in where you should remain aloof, and so that you aren’t passive where you should stand up for your opinion, defend yourself, your loved ones, and your Path. And predators will always try to swap one for another.

          • Ekhnakaran, ‘not rushing in with fists where you need to remain aloof’ does not mean ignoring the battle. In this case, the battle is fought inside you. A battle between your desire to thrust a blade into the fabric of occurring events and understanding that the wise choice is not to do so. 🙂

        • “Enmerkar, how to know what to do with my gift?”
In my opinion the best method is to watch, observe, and remain alert. Occasionally, moments happen when it feels like someone whispers in your ear ‘do this, this is your chance.’ This ‘whisper’, coming from within, has never let me down. If I let slip and missed such an opportunity, I always feel a sense of loss.

“If people practice and earn money without having even a fraction of what you can do. And you feel that the gift is simply one of the means to uncover something more important, but you still need to grow to reach that importance. Is this a correct position?”
It’s very possible. But the opposite could be true too — that one can let all chances slip away.

“The wisest choice is to ignore. But if it doesn’t work, if these parasites are practically imposing war on you. Are there still ways to resolve such a problem ‘peacefully’?”
Practice shows that ignoring is a wise choice only in cases of fleeting confrontations. When a confrontation drags on and you are forced to share space, ignoring starts working against you. It turns out that the opponent somehow starts to feel their power and the further it goes, the more they try to impose it, and consider you already defeated. A rather effective method is to demonstrate your strength to the opponent at a moment convenient for you, when its application is inevitable for you, so that the opponent gets snagged a little, or so that they become a spectator. Sometimes you have to wait a long time for such a moment, but typically the effect is worth it. 🙂

“Ekhnakaran, ‘not rushing in with fists where you need to remain aloof’ — does not mean ignoring the battle. In this case, the battle is fought inside you. A battle between your desire to thrust a blade into the fabric of occurring events and understanding that the wise choice is not to do so. :)”
You are correct. This described battle has the next level. I describe: the magician fully realizes the impossibility of entering the battle in a blatant manner and completely refuses this. Instead, they direct their energies elsewhere: carefully yet vividly sketching in their imagination the desired picture of how to resolve the battle in all possible details and directing it towards the necessary subjects. With sufficient focus and a sufficiently feasible opponent, it is possible to significantly influence the course of events.

  20. Good day! Tell me, do techniques that help a person reveal their gift exist, and is it possible to learn about them through books? Or is it only possible through meeting a magician mentor? Please guide us.

      • That’s correct. But for awareness to exist in the world, will is needed. Will teaches responsibility. There is a pervasive lack of will (absence of manifestation of one’s individuality), meaning there’s no responsibility.
A lot of forces are spent on the struggle for oneself. On learning to resist being sucked into the steel cube of standard thinking. It’s vital to learn how to preserve your flow.
Will is acquired like this – a step forward despite internal indecision, unwillingness, and laziness. Only thus, moving forward, without listening to any internal friends, negating self-pity. Felt a heartfelt impulse of Desire, accepted responsibility, and stepped forward. Only then can one feel the increasing inner strength of will, their internal core, and the growing vibration of their magical heart.

  21. Julia, Alena (if you come back to the site): while doing everyday things, track what causes you internal resistance (don’t do that) and what gives you emotional uplift, joy, and lightness when everything seems to happen on its own (this may be a pointer to your path and deserves more attention). Perhaps your interest in magic is the first step to becoming a great artist, a well-known politician, or a doctor; maybe you need to prepare to raise a child who will become a great person, or something else; first and foremost, listen to your heart’s voice. And remember, you can do anything you want if it does not harm anyone. P.S. An article about elves drew me to this site, and I was here relatively by chance.

  22. Sergiy. Your gift is by no means a curse. You are not the only one possessing such a gift. The fact that it brings you suffering is likely a consequence of your rejection.

  23. “to turn into an eagle” Enmerkar, please clarify what this means, if you don’t mind?

  24. The unpleasant side of the gift is that you have to develop it quietly from loved ones and, to some extent, hide it, and then learn to conceal it, but without lying. In general, having a fate-gift obliges one to lead a double life, without options.

  25. How important is it to accurately recognize and verbalize your gift? For example, I do something in my life that brings me inner satisfaction. I experience it as energy transmission, and myself as a tool for transforming this energy and its further transmission. I do this both in my profession and in life – for me, it is as natural as breathing. But at the same time, I do not fully understand exactly what I am doing. I know well that the most important thing is not to betray myself, not to allow it to break me. Is life mission, purpose, realization, gift – the same thing?

  26. 2 Maria Perhaps you are just starting to approach your Gift. A gift is a tool given for the realization of something. The better you recognize and study your Gift (Tool), the more effectively you will be able to use it. To answer your last question, one needs to clearly know what you mean by each of these terms. For example: – you have a Gift for the Realization of your Purpose. – your Life Mission is in the realization of your Gift.

  27. In childhood, they said that I was too kind… In my youth, all my girlfriends came to ‘cry on my shoulder’, and I helped, pulled them out, then fell into depression myself… I got tired of it… I ran away… I know I can pull someone out… But people do not want to change, a miracle is needed… :), that is, if this is a gift, one must act regardless of anything… What should I call it?, digging through someone else’s negativity…

  28. Shifting someone else’s dirt onto oneself is not a Gift, but rather foolishness (inexperience) 🙂 If a person clearly has a Pisces constellation, then it is simply their property – ‘to absorb dirt’. Changing people is a rarer attribute (skill). To be able to do this requires immense dedication and responsibility. And necessarily experience, so as not to cast pearls before swine:)

  29. Thank you, a very accurate remark, precisely because of the ‘pigs’ I practically do not engage in it now… Although I still feel the urge…:)

  30. Self-sacrifice and responsibility, sincerity and honesty are enough to begin experiments. One’s gift is hidden, usually found in a person’s shortcomings. Instead of cultivating these shortcomings, working with them, they are frozen or transformed through someone or something by the carrier. No one but the carrier of the shortcoming is interested in working with it. Predators need the inept. By cultivating one’s own shortcomings, one can unveil their gift. Offloading someone else’s dirt onto oneself is an art of cultivating someone else’s Gift.

    • I agree with you on the shortcomings. One can say a little differently about shortcomings, imho – shortcomings in a person are those qualities that are not illuminated by love in a person, unloved, forgotten. Therefore, during life these personal shortcomings remind a person of themselves in various situations, expressing themselves in problems, failures, and conflicts. And if a person is angry with themselves, with the world, blames and curses others, then in this way a person feeds those shortcomings with their energy, and they become more massive and transform into monsters that draw the person’s life force. Well, if on the contrary, in these situations one accepts oneself with love, with faith in the best, not stepping back even a step, then there comes one magical moment – these shortcomings are enveloped in love and the dark corners of their soul are illuminated, and thus those parts of the soul in a person begin to nourish them with their energy refined by the person themselves, making them stronger, more effective, and wiser.

  31. I REMEMBER MYSELF IN A CRIB AND THE OLDER CHILDREN COME TO LOOK AT ME AND HOW HAPPY I WAS, I LOVED THEM BEYOND MEASURE AND UNDERSTOOD EVERYTHING, AND MOM SENT THE CHILDREN: ‘GO AWAY, SHE DOESN’T UNDERSTAND ANYTHING.’ I FELT MOM FOR A VERY LONG TIME WITHOUT WORDS AND NEVER LIED – IT WAS A SHOCK WHEN THEY DIDN’T BELIEVE ME – I THOUGHT SHE FELT THE SAME WAY. AND I HAD A PLACE WHERE I FLEW AND THERE WAS A BRIGHT GREEN THING THAT I WAS HESITANT TO TAKE MULTIPLE TIMES – I WAS VERY AFRAID OF BECOMING AN EVIL WITCH. AT 4 YEARS OLD?!

  32. I started to discover my gift in childhood……..it always happened spontaneously……sometimes it is very necessary to solve some problem, and by known methods this cannot be done, and then I began to try to solve the problem using methods that came to me from within, sometimes even inadequate from the standpoint of common beliefs……in the end, I achieved the desired result…..it looked like a miracle……….and then over time it was forgotten and stopped being applied……….I think a push is needed, some acute necessity, a strong desire…….and then the solution to the problem is found……….and this unusual way is my Gift.

  33. Determining one’s gifts and more helps “Human Design,” section “Gene Keys,” but this doesn’t yield much benefit, since gifts are potential and are opened/manifested with the increase of awareness, wholeness, love and respect for oneself and others, reduction of selfishness, moving out of imposed behavioral patterns/habits; generally when what Buddhists call raising vibrations takes place. Achieving this, however, is a very individual process, there is no single instruction, no assurances, lots of traps, although there are general recommendations.

  34. It is worth considering when searching for your individual gift, that in childhood, available extrasensory sensitivity was manifested, i.e. I do not consider extrasensory abilities to be an individual gift. But in childhood, you can trace the boundaries of intention, i.e. the boundaries of the nature of the incarnate being, which is natural for them, while the gift I consider manifests within the framework of naturalness.
For example, I can give a situation from life. In my childhood, it was very difficult for close people to hide anything from me. I knew not only where to find it but also how to get it. My grandmother constantly scolded when she found the empty “feeder,” and my grandfather laughed at grandmother’s helplessness and at the fact that it was impossible to hide sweets from me. If grandmother tried to hide “treats” in different places, then my cousin tried to hide her “treasures” so that I couldn’t reach them. If she struggled to reach it from the chair, then even more so – she thought. However, I didn’t even need a chair; any furniture – chests, hangers, TV, shelves were steps of a staircase for me. The surprise of “how?” quickly morphed into scolding, tears, and fights, as what I found – either I ate or spoiled. But the most amazing thing is that despite the fact that I was climbing high on fragile things, I fell only once along with the hanger (the winter jackets softened the fall) and was sincerely upset about the broken item, I sat over it for 5 minutes, examining its broken loops, looking at the clothes, worried that I could have damaged something else. In other words, when I found and damaged something that was deliberately hidden from me, trying to preserve it, I was not upset in the slightest, despite the fact that the item was dear to a person, but when I accidentally damaged the hanger, it felt like a worldwide grief to me, and I was very surprised by my grandmother’s reaction when she simply scolded me for once again climbing everywhere, made sure I was okay, and waved her hand at the hanger saying, “nothing serious.” This is the threshold when a child accidentally steps on an ant, crushing it and for them it is a grief, while for the adult it is a trifle, and when a child intentionally kills a dog and however much adults hammer into them that it is bad – they will not feel compassion. But this threshold persists into adulthood; some can’t intentionally kill a chicken, while others gut people deliberately and do not feel nauseated. Of course, it is cruel, but it is certain limits of naturalness in which the being is embodied. For me, these specific boundaries are revealed in the manifestation of the feeling of “value”; no matter how hard I try to fit it to a standard, it still spills into unconscious harm to valuable and dear human weaknesses.
As for the “they said in childhood,” between the nature of a child and the template perception of an adult there is a chasm. Therefore, I tend to think that if one should perceive someone’s words from childhood, it is from people with abilities, magicians, people not subjected to stereotypes. I have not encountered such people. And if someone encountered such people in childhood, then I will tell you that it is truly worth paying attention to the magical path and knowing your magical gift, however, in such a case, you will still know it, for the path already exists. In other words, the gift and the path for me are inseparable; why do you need a gift if there is no path, and what kind of path is that if you do not know your gift?
I also want to add that it is worth treating what others say critically – even magicians, as there are those who put a person on their path (i.e. on that person’s path) and those who also put a person on their own path (but only on their own path, leading others away from the paths they need to follow).
As for the rest, including astrology, as it is known, “the stars suggest, but a person disposes.”

    • I remembered the conclusion of the story with the gift. Relatives sometimes asked me to help find things and were happy when I found them. But then frequent “find it” became a dog collar, and I searched out of inertia until I realized that they were telling me “find it” not because they couldn’t find it, but because they were too lazy to look. The thing wasn’t at hand, “find it”. “And why aren’t you looking yourself?” I started asking, to which I got the reply “you manage well anyway”. Which meant that you are obliged to wear the dog collar because we are weaker. And that was bitter… After that, I stopped looking – because I couldn’t find it, because I didn’t want to, because I was lazy. The gift was consumed by the Shadow… The gift does not disappear, but is “killed” by predators. And if they kill it… it means they are unworthy (their logic)… And the gift is found, like a treasure during a shadow passage… but the first thing you face is forgiveness. But you cannot forgive one bitterness and not forgive others. Moreover, some still need forgiveness… and that’s us ourselves. No matter how helpless we may be in such moments, we blame ourselves deep down for allowing it to happen…

  35. By the way, since this topic has come up) Do many think about their nature or act according to the external template “Light, Love, Peace”)) The world of the dark side, the world of power, the predatory world is much more individual, perhaps it is precisely in this world that this individual seed manifests that endows a person with something special. And as is known, one cannot get rid of the predator – it is part of our nature. And this world – is a world of diverse interactions of predators; they also learn, hunt, and develop. From the previous example, it follows that I can confidently be attributed to predators, however, within the framework of childish cruelty of “predation” I can say that I have worse examples. I find it difficult to take life; on the contrary, I tried to breed animals (mostly aquatic and reptiles), only this was without results – the next day they floated upside down. Especially I loved frogs – I put them in a jar of water, covered with a lid, so they wouldn’t jump away from me, and they later died due to lack of air. Paradoxical, how my desire to “preserve” turned out. There was a boy on our street one year older than me, and he easily killed animals, loved to cut open live frogs and show us how their heart beats separately from the body (maybe that’s why I wanted to “preserve” frogs), and later he killed a tortured baby crow that we girls were trying to save (and it’s unknown how many animals he killed in total). But once our interests – the interests of two predators intersected when our dogs fought and my dog won his dog. He seriously said he would kill my dog, and he intended to do it, and then I almost killed him, pounced on him and began to choke him until I realized what I was doing. After that, he was as quiet as a mouse, he disappeared without a trace, avoiding me, my dog, and didn’t touch her a finger, justifying himself by saying he was “joking.” And when we grew up and “normalized” by social standards, he recalled this incident and said that he was very scared of me and is still afraid. If you want predators to fear you, it means you must be stronger and more important. And to reach the level of God means to achieve the level of the main predator? The higher the branches, the deeper the roots penetrate. It turns out…
And if you refuse your nature, what will follow?

    • It is not necessary to view oneself from the perspective of Predator – Victim. The one who tries to play the role of executioner is often the one who fears attack………….. There is a difference between the skill to kill and the desire to kill. One person feels satisfaction and pleasure after an act of killing, while another does it out of necessity (for example, to kill the same chicken to later eat it), but does not feel any satisfaction, often even disgust, yet the skill remains a skill……………………………………. I stopped eating meat 4 years ago precisely because I experienced disgust towards the act of killing and devouring animals – it was just against my nature, although I can calmly grow, kill, butcher and prepare an animal if there is an acute necessity – but I still would not be able to eat it.

      • Tabita, “it is not necessary to consider yourself …” says that it is essential to examine yourself very carefully exactly where there is a diversion of gaze) We often do what is not inherent to our nature… However, nature is quite ambiguous. There is our nature – our strength, there is the surrounding nature and “must”, and there is also a third element, deformed – our weakness. Moreover, weakness exists both in darkness and in light, just like strength. If you have determined where whose nature is, then I am very happy for you.

        • I also want to add to my previous answer… strength can become a weakness, and weakness the flip side of strength. It is a matter of potential… What is, what was, what will be, but what is not manifested, a question of awareness, a question of non-dividing, a question that must grow into action, into reality and balance on the two-sided blade of a knife. A question of non-desire, a question of non-acceptance… Behind the ordinary suggestion and the simple question, much can be hidden.

          • You have not understood me. It’s not about a diversion of gaze, but about assertion. Here you assert, “If you want predators to fear you, it means you must be stronger and more significant.” – and I counter – It is not necessary to consider oneself from the perspective of predator. We are people, while predators are other – animals, demons, or someone else…… There are people who feed on the sun and continue to live – this means that it is not necessary to be a predator, perhaps one can feed on the light in its purest form, not mediated by the food chain: plants – herbivores – predators. The Predator-Victim binary is merely an Idea that we believe in and embody in life. If there are predators, then there are victims. If there are no predators, then there are no victims………. One can Choose to believe in another Idea……………………… One can examine themselves from the perspective of the binary Beauty – Ugliness…………………….. For you, for example, is killing beauty or ugliness?

          • Tabita, first ask yourself the question “who are you communicating with? Whom are you writing comments to?” I am not afraid of not understanding you, but your misunderstanding indicates that your inner predator reigns unchecked, and ignoring the predator-victim boundary in living nature would cost you your life. Initially, what caught your attention in my verbose address was the “killing of a chicken,” and I… when I wrote this – remembered you – I recently read that you spent 2 years in the village and how you tried to kill. This is only a small portion of information…. and it touched you, then what to say about someone who knows everything about you! Including what you are running from… And if you were to speak to that black mirror, or rather, try to see “beauty, love, peace” in its reflection – it would devour you, annihilate you, seeing in you that which you do not notice and refuse to accept. “When speaking of Light to others, do not forget about your inner Darkness, then your words will hold some power… power over Darkness”.
And know that another predator will simply not perceive your words, shifting the conversation into a “void” (or raising its own radiance – awareness, at your expense, but it will still smell of “emptiness”), while another may don a “sheep’s” disguise and pretend to be a victim, and that is the most dangerous. Even more so, to shift your focus onto such a victim, right into its open mouth along with your power, losing your center, losing the ability to listen to yourself. The predators have an interesting selfish saying in this regard, “how can you help me if you cannot help yourself? Help yourself!” There are many predators on this site; I have already crossed paths with two (… how many are there actually here?), so for them, you are a very good treat, despite the fact that you have odds on your side, and the world is “as hostile as it is friendly.”

          • It’s like how I tried to save the frogs, but they still died. If “…at the very core of yourself, there is a Completely Different Nature (I have no doubt about this – for I know this division), in which there is no predation…,” then why didn’t you stay in that core, and why do the laws of this world continue to apply to you?

          • Tabita 🙂 I will write my thoughts without waiting for Enmerkar and the publication of your responses. It’s even more interesting))… to respond to already written uncertainty. It happened that I drew you into the game of reflection (but I think not without a reason). Everything I said to you was me trying to shout out to myself) I was not writing to you, I was writing to myself… The question “who am I communicating with?” was also directed at me. But it seems to me that this question was written to you because… you were also communicating only with yourself (more precisely with your reality). “…I have a light side, leave your reality and go with me…” But the value of life is in not growing into someone else’s reality but crystallizing your own. What to do with such realities that want to go their own path, individualize it… And somehow suddenly you were brought on your path?) I agree that one can change the idea. However, it is worth considering another reality (the reality of the physical world, the social reality, reality in the minds of people). You may see yourself and others as fragrant flowers or energy lines, but others, if their reality balances on the binary predator-victim, will see you either as a victim or a predator… no matter what you see. Therefore, it is necessary to know how reality perceives you in front… I perceived you as a mirror)) And what kind of mirror – that is a different question)

          • . “…I have a light side, leave your reality and go with me…” – this is how you perceived what I was trying to say. Other people see it differently. Some consider me a predator and possessed by demons. _____ I do not believe in the absoluteness of anything. Everything is relative, though the Idea of the Absolute does not disappear 🙂

          • A person can be anyone, and this means that one should not plant roots in one’s realities either. Here is the paradox. Then a correction – it is worth pushing away not from reality, but from individuality. The individual way of perception of any reality. But if it is individual – will it be understood by others?

          • “…For you, for example, is murder beauty or monstrosity?…” It is a necessity – it can be both a monstrosity and beauty. If you haven’t noticed – we are all killing ourselves, ordinary people are killing themselves, magicians are killing themselves, you are killing yourself, I am killing myself – it looks very horrible, but everyone does it differently, in their own way, which can be quite beautiful. Killing oneself can be a true art, just like the art of Living. It is indivisible.

          • In my opinion, there is no need to kill oneself. The created form fades away on its own sooner or later.

There are plenty of ways to get rid of anything without resorting to killing.

          • Theo, there is such a multifaceted 13th arcana Death, which means not only death but also transformation. “To kill oneself properly” – to die so as not to sink into “form” into nothingness, to disappear, but to transform oneself into the immortal, to pass through the gates, to perish. To dare to do this while looking into the eyes of Death. Death is inevitable anyway. Following inertia, you do not think about what awaits you after death… The disappearance – does it suit you.

    • Here is the translated text in English:

“Among the родоверы (rodovers) there is a division: Kashchey – non-person – undead * live – person – human – As. And in abilities, Kashchey = As. They are different in sign but equal in power.

By refusing one’s nature, one can switch to another flow without losing the abilities, if, of course, they were one’s own.”

      • I think that in the process of socialization, growing up, we adopt the proposed templates and masks deemed as the only true and only possible by “wise adults” – however, these templates and masks, that we live by, meaning the Images of Life that we embody in our own actions, are NOT our nature, but were imposed on us long ago by someone unknown (by whoever preferred to stay in the shadows)……….but if a person finds WITHIN THEMSELVES the Strength to Tear Off Their Own Masks and Shatter Others’ Templates……….. then they discover within, at the very core of themselves a completely Different Nature, in which predation is absent, even the Main binary Life – Death gradually loses its absolute reality……………….

        • As if Different Levels of Being exist and the world of predators – is a level on which we first become self-aware in this embodiment, but Man has access to Other Levels of Being, – beyond predation, beyond the world of humans, to which we are conditioned from childhood…….

    • Here’s the translation to English:

      “I read it.

I’m reading about your childhood and I understand that mine was very sweet and innocent…
Though there were plenty of adventures.

We didn’t kill frogs, no one cut anyone…
We caught frogs, yes, out of curiosity. But we let them go. They then float on the water. Either they’re stressed, or overheating from human hands.

‘To reach the level of God means to reach the level of the main predator?’

The God of this world is the supreme predator, that’s a fact for me.
And predators understand only the language of force-destruction. All other forces for them are the forces of the victim.
The flip side is that predators are always dependent on the victim. They are passive towards it. And they always forget about that.”

    • “And if one were to renounce their nature, what would follow? For me, my own nature is my self-created nature. In my case, predation does not apply to it.”

  36. Milita, “Predators from this site” or from any others are easily treated. Just turn off the computer and redirect your attention to something else. Break, for example, the metaphorical black mirror and see behind it the Other Faces of the World, yet unknown… Perhaps those whom you consider predators are very nice people to those whom they love. Or maybe they are ill and desperately need psychiatric help from qualified specialists… The problem is not in them – The problem is in our heads. First, we create predators, attract them into the field of our attention, and then suffer from their predatory actions… I suggested you consider killing from the perspective of the binary Beauty-Ugliness because most people understand perfectly well, on a verbal level, on a non-verbal level – what Beauty is and how it differs from Ugliness… moreover, they understand it rather synchronously, i.e. a group of completely different people unanimously acknowledges the Beauty of sunset, dawn, the Beauty of the aroma of roses, and the Ugliness of the stench of a decomposing corpse… There are cases, for example, where a rather insensitive adult man emotionally cannot eat stew from a rabbit he held and petted a few hours ago, while this same man calmly eats meat from the shop. I think this Idea is easy to understand, but perhaps I am mistaken. The idea that there is no need to kill either a rabbit, or a chicken, or people who offended us. Murder is a matter of Choice or a matter of Addiction to murder, but not a matter of necessity. However, publicly recognizing the Beauty of murder means becoming an enemy of the human Lineage, because for the Lineage murder is Ugliness (that which lies with the Lineage, but is not in the Lineage)… here I want to emphasize that I am not thinking of you, but of the Ideas that lie at the roots of human actions. P.S. As for myself, from experience, from bitter experience, many years ago I concluded: Only standing at the grave of a defeated enemy do I understand that strength is Not in killing – Strength is in Forgiving, but how weak we are… I have seen how people have asked for forgiveness many years after they committed an act, while this request for forgiveness gives them neither benefit nor profit. They ask for forgiveness because they have matured, finally grown to the understanding that they acted wrongly and that the burden of guilt they have burdened their soul with can only be released through Forgiveness. And here it is not about morality, ethics, or religion. These are energetic facts, energetic interconnections, and interdependencies. By killing a pig and consuming its flesh, a person will carry inside him pieces of its genetic material for a long time, partially assimilating the energy of the pig – becoming like it, a pig. By killing an enemy, a person will remember his act for a lifetime, and 20 years later will ask himself: “was it necessary to kill”? We all reap our fruits. (written a month and a half ago))

    • Here’s the translation:

“That’s good. I understood that I just changed my perspective on death. I have a question: what do you think is hidden behind the idea of Death? Why do we need Death?”

      • “The idea of Death” – to frighten the living.
Death is the absence of the ability to describe – what ideas can there be in this context?!
A killer has no relation to death, only the victim does. The desire to get rid of excess energy and to experience a powerful emotion through the taking of another being’s life. “Killing oneself” – feeding the ego. Killing and Dying are phenomena from different “planes” of reality, and if we talk about their manifestation in a single being, they are not connected to each other in any way.
Try to allow something within yourself to die, and perhaps the understanding of the difference between killing and dying will come. The dying may want to be killed, but the killer will not wish to die.

        • Is death needed to scare the living? In the past, people faced death without fear; Scandinavian warriors sought to die in battle, yet they knew about death, it existed. So why is death needed? “Death is the absence of the ability to describe…” Are you, perhaps, writing from the afterlife right now, since you seem to lack ideas? If we apply logic (you might even recall some logic puzzles), the murderer and the victim are interconnected. If the victim relates to death, then the murderer… In what way does “killing oneself,” or rather the ego, feed into the narcissistic self-importance? It feeds on self-pity. Those who feel sorry for themselves in the face of death are very, very distant. The murderer and the dying one feel each other well during their interaction (though it’s not easy to understand who is who), in an internal war of opposites. Once the conflict is resolved, it can be a relief, a liberation, or the emergence of something new, but it can also lead to emptiness when a significant part of oneself is killed in the war.

          • “People used to live without fear… and so on. I understand (I’ve read) that there were different times, tribes… and there are still people who think differently now, but that is not an argument.

Self-importance can be fed not only by pity.
            Two questions:
            – Do you want to kill (take a life)?
            – Do you want to die?
If you felt the difference, then you understood what I wanted to say in my previous post about the difference between killing and dying.
Let me clarify: the ‘idea of Death’ (not Death itself) is to frighten the living.
I described how the idea (principle) of Death influences the people around me; people are afraid to die, and I am too.
Death itself is not an idea for me.”

          • Here is the translation to English:

“Ask these questions to your great-grandparents who participated in World War II. They did not want to kill or die, but they killed and died. Such is life. The enemy in this personal war is death itself – either it will defeat you, or you will defeat it… The fear of death is merely a perception; this fear arises from the instinct of self-preservation, a bodily level. But there are other levels of perception… The body is just a shell. It belongs to the earth. So, are you just a body?”

          • Germans are also people, and now they do not attack anyone. During Hitler’s time, these people were simply soldiers who executed orders. They did not make choices and did not reflect on the morality of their actions or the connection of their actions to their nature. Some of them accepted Hitler’s ideas on faith. They put on the ideas of Aryan racial superiority like clothing and became accustomed to them, justifying their actions with these ideas, while others followed orders because they feared death…………….. If the Germans had refused to kill, there would have been no World War II, you understand… and no, life is not like that. Such is the stupidity and ignorance of man, such is the weakness, subservience, and inability to think and make decisions independently, without looking back at rulers and the ideas they impose and present as the only truth.

          • If you want to talk about earthly wars, we could discuss the war in Syria… Although no matter how you try to avoid it… wars have happened, are happening, and will happen. But I was talking more about personal warfare and personal blindness. You see… how many times have I asked you the question “why is death given?”…?

          • “The enemy in the personal war is none other than Death itself.” I would add that people are also intimidated by death, made to see how terrible it is – it is the enemy of life. This deprives them of choice (people think they have no choice – is that really so?). This benefits the physical plane – the demiurge, so that people leave as much energy here as possible. As a result, blind people cannot look death in the eye; they do not see it. They fall into its hands like blind kittens, and when Death removes the support from under them, they do not know where to go and see nothing but darkness. Their entire lives, and even in the afterlife, they are guided by other forces.

          • “Death itself is not an idea for me,” so what is it for you…?
Why do I speak about Ideas? Because this is the first thing that appeared in the void. Ideas took on words, forms, and were embodied in the material. This is my myth. Life and Death emerged from the Idea that arose in the mind of God 🙂 What is this Idea?

          • “Although, it might be more appropriate to talk about desire… That would be more original.”

          • Death – it kills, transforms, purifies, destroys illusions… But I am talking about the idea. What is the reflection, sister, opposite of Death? Does no one know why we have death? 🙂 It means, friends, that you are not truly living…

          • Death comes on its own when it is time, and there is nothing appealing about it for the living… However, people can certainly justify their desire to kill with the “idea of death” – after all, everyone will die, right? – so today I will kill, and I will feel good – I will consume the body of the slain, take all their resources, home, land, etc., and the justification is ready. A good justification.

          • The question is not about adjectives, bad – good, attractive – ugly… Why is death given? Why does it exist in the universe?

          • Here is the translation to English:

“There is one original con in the universe. Everything that is not supported by attention dies.

Question: why kill something/someone? If you take attention away from something/someone, is it the same as letting it die?

            The sphere of ideas.”

          • “Will your colleague die if you stop paying attention to him? Will the idea disappear into the universe if you stop focusing on it? Death permeates all levels; you will resemble a pigeon that closes its eyes to make the cat beside it disappear.

So you, Theo, also do not know WHY DEATH IS GIVEN? It is an eternal companion on the spiritual path. Know that people die even on this path and not just once, yet they are alive and well… Surely, you agree that we are not just a body? And why is there such an expression as ‘the dance of life and death’…?”

    • “…The idea that there is no need to kill either a rabbit or a chicken…”. I have a question about consumption. I have another observation, Dear Tavita. In the necroworld, everything decomposes… down to the bones. The bones serve as a kind of foundation. Even dead sand is made up of tiny bone particles. And you should know that bones are micro-minerals that we need for life. We consume them every day. Particles of minerals that were once in the bones of dinosaurs, in the bones of some animal, a human… Bones, by the way, hold memories. In the necroworld, there exists a vast layer of memory. It’s no wonder that, because of such a tiny particle, we can remember ourselves as dinosaurs and decide that this is our past life)) And also, in this very moment, millions of cells are dying in your body – death is closer than you think)) It’s strange to see beautiful flowers and call this life, while not noticing the wilted buds with seeds) But about 7 years ago, I would have also said that the flowers that haven’t wilted are life, and the wilted ones are death. I don’t think that way anymore.

  37. Everything around is alive. The whole world (all worlds) is a complex energetic connection, which requires transformation for its development. One type of activity in the Direction of the Forces of Death is the distribution of resources that arise after the disruption of the symbiosis of the energies of beings. Look at the night sky. What do you think of such diversity? 🙂

    • “Everything around is alive”… I’ve already written about this here, but I’ll repeat myself. When you immerse your consciousness in the necroworld, everything around is dead. It’s quite strange, but the running children are perceived as the dead, the swaying leaves on the trees as compost, the soil everywhere is dead. This is not felt after death… mine, the children’s, etc., but during life. As if we exist in two worlds – the living and the dead. By the way, speaking of death, that’s why I discard adjectives – they simply don’t exist there, just like emotions; you don’t feel warmth, wind, or sunlight on your skin… the world seems gray. Colors and adjectives are the prerogative of life. I’ve also had dreams where I saw my deceased grandfather… He was doing his usual activities that he did in life. He lived in the same house where he lived during life, but when I asked him “where’s grandmother?”, he said that she had died. I was very frightened then, grandmother is alive, and here it was… Then there was another dream where I talked again with the dead and saw my father’s ghost. Even in that dream, my perception shifted – after all, I know that he is alive… We’re not absolutely alive, otherwise we wouldn’t age, but we’re also not absolutely dead, otherwise we wouldn’t move. It’s an exchange of energy – we accumulate it as we live, we expend it as we die, and this happens simultaneously. But I would like to hear your elaborate thoughts on this.
And yes, even though the necroworld is linked with death, it is not Death itself. The living world and the necroworld are like the right and left banks of a shore, where in the middle flows a black river – it is Death, but it is also a transition.

  38. If you have experience with the realms of death, then I find your questions a bit unclear, as you should know the exact answers. Regarding transition… You are absolutely correct. The symbiosis of a person consists of four main energies: the energy of the body, the soul, the info, and the transition. The transition is responsible for purification. The soul, as a resident of this world, remains here.

    • When I asked the question, Numen, I had a completely different answer in my mind, which I naturally doubted. And even now, I doubt that there is a precise answer regarding Death.
“Why is death necessary?” – “To know life.” That was the answer in my head. And life is given in order to understand Death. It followed that one who knows life is the one who has experienced death. And whoever has experienced death has experienced life. That is why I wrote, “If you do not know why death is given, then you do not live (you do not know why life is given).
… Later, when HELngo wrote his answer, the thought of the “dance of life and death” emerged. What dies is reborn – that is Life. We are used to thinking that we are this physical body. The body dies, and that is the end. But this is not true. This dance is similar to a waltz, where steps are rearranged. We die in one place and are reborn in another. And then the steps change again.
Tabitha… Tabitha did not really answer the question but continued with her theme of murders (the theme of predators, by the way, is resolved for me, and I will most likely write about it below). However, she also contributed her part. I seriously wrote that Death is an enemy, but at the same time I was writing to show that death is not an enemy. I did not even notice this play of perception. Something inside me considers death a terrible enemy, but what sparked this conversation does not and is above… this earthly concern. We are blind. Here is another problem of Death: when we die physically, we are spiritually blind.
And you, Numen, pleased me by hearing my question. An interesting answer. And honestly, I didn’t know how to respond to it, as I did not anticipate such an answer, even though it resembles what I hinted at above. My response is an attempt to synthesize it with my experience. How else can I explain your answer to myself? However, I have already mentioned that I do not consider the necromantic world to be Death, merely the other side of life.
And so… every answer has the right to exist. It all depends on the level.

  39. Milita

“Why is death given? Why does it exist in the universe?”

Do you wish to receive an answer? Really, do you? (Or did I get the impression that the answer is not so important to you?)
I can talk to you about the “idea of death,” about tarot, and about other things.

If you still wish to receive an answer, I will respond.
But first, please clarify: what do you (specifically you in this case) mean by death? Specifically.

    • Theo, I wanted to hear your views, but “I still doubt that there is a precise answer regarding Death…”
…What do you (specifically you in this case) mean by death? … That’s a good question 🙂 For me, death is a transition where the horizontal and vertical paths intersect. It’s hard to explain. I think it’s better to illustrate it visually. Here is the right bank – we call it life, where flowers bloom and so on, and here is the left bank – this is the necroworld, the dead, decay, decomposition. We call this world death. The necroworld, like the physical world, is also multi-layered, with different levels. Between them flows the river of the original, the black river, an abyss… a transition, which is also called death. Usually, people are trapped on Earth. The living world – necroworld – living world – necroworld, and so on. This path is horizontal. But at the moment of transition, a vertical path opens up. From cosmic fullness to original emptiness. In this sense, Death and Life are real. To put it even more simply, imagine a graph where the intersection of the x and y axes forms a cross. At their intersection is point O. This point zero is what I mean.

      • You mixed together several “deaths” and several completely different processes.

        • That’s right, Theo. After writing the message, I peeked into the necromancers’ forum. There, a user wrote that there is a lower necroworld – of decay, and a higher one – the original nothingness, true death. Necromancers are limited by death, and the only way to approach the divine is to pass through the higher necroworld. Can someone who plays with bones jump into the original solvent? If necromancers didn’t have a sense of self-preservation and a sense of boundaries, they would quickly dissipate on the physical plane. I know this feeling of withdrawal from experience; you start to physically wither away, and emotions are a whole different topic—ghosts can create emotional hell with their demonstration of their death and their pitiful “I don’t waaaant to diiiie.” But know this, Theo: I will share with you an observation that may be useful. You should respond to me when this dialogue is not needed or important for you, as you yourself indicated. The question of importance and necessity should be asked not of others but, first and foremost, of oneself… Then people won’t be able to use you. As it stands, I’m still having a dialogue with myself.

  40. Here’s the translation to English:

102 comments and it seems like it’s time to draw conclusions, as it’s becoming somewhat awkward that I write so much.

    1. Predators are victims.
“Can a spiritual person be a predator?” – No. To be a predator means to consciously release energy into the darkness, to scatter it aimlessly and to see enormous significance in this process for one’s existence. The significance of my life is in development, as well as in the accumulation of experience and energy. But the predator exists within us, and it is not a social system and so on; it is much closer. It is our body, which we actually call nature, its unconscious autonomous part… (instincts, physical heredity), the animal part. Thanks to this physical predator, we approach the gates of death blind. But a person is not only nature – the material; they are also spiritual. A person is always somewhere in between… They have the choice – to be a beast or a God. And this choice depends on the level of Consciousness.

    “Murder – beauty or ugliness?”
As I have already written, I perceive action, not the colors of perception. For some, daisies are beautiful, while others find them ugly compared to roses. Beauty and ugliness are merely comparisons.
Murder, as necessity. Wolves – they are predators, they kill because they see significance in this action – they need to live. How do they do it? In such a way that we consider them the sanitarians of the forest. Within the framework of nature, they do this harmoniously. But a human can kill for fun; they enjoy it, but it is not necessary… That is the difference between necessity and like – dislike. I did not want to discuss the clipotic drainage that enjoys killing. If we touch upon the question of like… I like it when people’s actions are directed toward spiritual resurrection.

“To kill oneself” – again, the question pertains to action. Our body (that is, we, since it is part of us) according to its nature kills itself… ages, loses energy; people contribute to this with their instincts, habits that are “harmful,” their unconsciousness. One can die like an unconscious beast and sink into non-existence, or one can die and be resurrected. One just needs to become aware of this inevitable process for the body, to realize that we (our nature) are killing ourselves, that the body dies and fades into the necro-world… To realize and to act. To die in such a way as to be resurrected. Conscious death is very different from unconscious death. You know what you need to be prepared for, including being ready for death itself.

“Predators and victims – change reality.” I have already written the answer. You can change reality, but one must consider how reality perceives you in return. Or avoid interactions altogether.

    2. The blind and the deaf.
To this question, who is deaf and blind to what degree – each answers for themselves.

    3. “What is the purpose of Death?” The answer is in the post above.

Thank you all for participating in the discussion. 🙂

If you need any further assistance, feel free to ask!

  41. Here is the translation to English:

“HELngo correctly responded to your idea of death.

The idea of death is a means to scare the living on earth and to impose control through the fear of death.

The second idea of death is to ‘give people mortal bodies and deprive them of immortality.’

I believe you will be able to handle the rest on your own.”
