The tradition calls such a phenomenon, which opens the door for a person from the conditioned world to the creative world, the Call of Power.
It turns out that, as soon as a person reaches a certain level of development, as soon as they are ready to accept Power, Power begins to insist on entering them. This readiness does not necessarily mean awareness or desire for Power; on the contrary, usually a person feels compelled to reject Power, to resist it, because, having accepted Power, they cease to be easy prey.
Power can call a person at any moment in their life, appearing on their Way in the form of a Magus indicating a direction, a Vision, an Animal, or a Place of Power.
But in any case this Call is the starting point of development, and how Power called the person determines how it manifests in their life — that is, their Way.
In some cases the Call of Power is both a push and a loan, providing the opportunity to move; in others, the Call merely points to the need to move, to the fact that this person has been chosen by Power, whose loan they still must seek.
It often happens that a person ignores or misinterprets the Call of Power, and this usually costs them dearly.
In the case of a person’s deafness to the Call, usually provoked by the Parasite of mind, Power continues to knock at their door ever more insistently until it is heard. But, unfortunately, sometimes the persistent striving of Power to enter a person’s life, encountering their unwillingness to accept it, destroys them, and by the time they finally become ready to accept the inevitable, they are simply unable to do so — worn out from the struggle with their destiny — and perish, never having set foot on the Way.
It also happens that, having heard the Call of Power, a person misinterprets it, setting out on a Way that does not suit them. For example, hearing the Call of Nature, they begin to practice Ceremonial Magic, or, hearing the Call of the Spirits, take up healing. In this case the person faces failure and disappointment, and they may feel that Power has deceived them, Magic is not their Way, whereas in reality they have simply chosen the wrong direction, the wrong branch of Magic.
Therefore, it is very important not only to recognize the Call, not only to hear Power calling, but also to understand where the Spirit of the Way calls, and to find its Body — that is, the concrete Myth appropriate to this being at this stage of development.
Finally, there are often situations when the Call precedes the possibility of a loan of Power — that is, it occurs at a favorable time. And the danger of failing to hear the Call at that moment lies in missing that opportunity, since another opportunity to obtain a loan may not arise. In this case not only the Call itself matters, not only its direction, but also its timeliness. In other words, the earlier a person heeds the Call of Power, the greater their chances of deriving the maximum benefit from it.
Perhaps this blog or article might be the Call of Power for someone; that is why Magi strive to connect people with Power — and then the Call takes a concrete form in which it is easier to perceive, and thus the chances increase for those who are ready to stop being victims, to truly stop being victims.

If I may, I will add my “two cents.” The choice of direction (or sphere of magic) is not made based on the principle of “I want.” Each person is born with their own set of talents or predispositions. It creates a ‘pull to magic’ that can be confused with the call, but unlike the call, it is chronic and indefinite, and it is a zone of interest and comfort due to the achievements of past life. A simple example: in a past life, a person developed their magical abilities (mental capabilities), moved along the magical path, denied reality, spiritually ascended (as they believed), while unbeknownst to themselves, they fell into illusory idealization.
