Being, above all, a person of action, the Magus seeks the fullest possible self-realization precisely through active interaction with the surrounding reality.
It is important to understand that such interaction is more complete the more direct it is and the less distorted.
It is characteristic of the human mind to replace direct experience — actual awareness — with engagement with its interpretations of that experience. The mind thereby does not contact external energies but its own reactions to those energies, and sometimes reactions to reactions. Living perception — the element of self-knowledge of the Great Spirit — is replaced by mind wandering generated by the knowing mind. In other words, the human mind is often unaware of what actually enters its field of perception; it forces experience into templates of perception formed by upbringing (which, in turn, have been shaped by predators and parasites) and thereafter operates on that reduced and transformed image (sometimes to the point of unrecognizability). This mode of functioning characterizes both the perception of macrocosmic processes and psychocosmic perception. A person usually sees neither the world they live in nor themselves.
Although it is extremely important for the Magus to have an adequate description of the perceived worldview, it is equally important not to replace perception with description.
Being in the direct Flow of energy, the Magus strives for the fullest possible interaction with that flow while nonetheless avoiding fusion with it.
This means that the Magus looks at the world with eyes wide open, striving to allow all available energies at the moment. On his journey through the world, the Magus tries to notice and be aware of everything he encounters. With his whole being, he feels the sway of grass in the meadow or the rustle of branches, the scuffle of a mouse in the leaves, and the flight of a bird in the heavens, and each phenomenon answers him with a deep echo in mind, resonating in the strings of his mind. How different this is from the usual half-asleep state of a person’s mind, living in virtual dreams!
As an element of Absolute Reality’s self-knowledge, the Magus’s developed mind must serve as an effective instrument of that self-knowledge, transforming energies and attaining full realization while achieving full individuation.
The distinction between subject and object of awareness, necessary to enable the process of knowing, must not shift focus of perceptual focus toward either pole — the mind must neither play with its images nor dissolve in the flow of being.
When it is said that the Magus must at every moment be here and now, it is precisely this immersion in awareness of the current moment that is meant.
This immersion is direct and immediate perception — a gaze with eyes wide open.
Every object that enters the Magus’s field of perception — every “external” object or being, as well as every thought or feeling manifesting in the Psychocosm — must first correspond in the mind — that is, be perceived — and only then be interpreted. This interpretation should be as unscripted as possible and as open as possible, intended to include the perceived element in the descriptive framework as harmoniously and naturally as possible. Only when such a perception opens a way for the further development of the mind, revealing new possibilities and paths, can it be considered truly grasped in awareness.
It is this freedom and breadth of perception that makes the Magus’s mind an element of the Great Spirit’s self-knowledge. Western consciousness is oriented toward dissolving the duality of subject and object of perception not by reuniting them in a state when questions and answers are not yet present, not by returning the mind to a pre-created state, but by finding answers to questions, by realizing all questions within their answers. And it is precisely for this that it strives to expand itself to the dimensions of Universal consciousness — not to merge with it, but to become it in a symphony of pleromic unity.
Oriented first and foremost to experience, yet not forgetting its correct — that is, harmonious and developmental — interpretation, the Magus is capable of finding the way to self-realization through all the thorns and obstacles that arise on his Way. And for an experience to be interpreted correctly, it must first be properly experienced — that is, fully perceived and worked through without distortion.
Hello! A practical question has come up, if I may – how to symbolically express the very striving for unclouded perception (for example, when making an amulet)? I see the rune Otila (as a symbol of a pure space and concentration within), how did the Mages express this?
Why can’t mages express this with a Rune? If it is about a vortex description – the purity of perception is described by the Seven-angled star.

Dear Enmerkar. You touched on a very interesting topic for me. “Immersion in the awareness of the present moment” is exactly what I have been doing for about 4 years. At first, it was incredibly challenging to pull myself out of that bundle-like state, which I previously called “waking,” when attention was literally consumed by the thought stream 100 percent. At this point, one can say that during the day the state of being here and now is continuously maintained. I did not become Superman (although I wanted to:)), but I will not return to my former state for any amount of treats. I am surprised that this “here and now” does not transition into sleep. Too early? Or is this transition not mandatory at all?
When you open the ability of pure perception, it does not displace the previous one (although the previous one changes a bit because you have removed many filters; for example, you have removed most of the imprints of the past – to clean yourself well from them takes years). You sit for years and remember past events, reliving them anew, thereby giving emotions to the predator, deceiving it. A person expects a negative reaction, a nervous spike from you, and instead, you genuinely laugh in their face or quietly walk away. They do not understand you; they are having a brainstorm in their head. They think you have gone crazy)))) You do not feed the predator because you see the essence of things, people, and situations. Your energy stays with you, and you begin to gradually accumulate it. BUT KNOW, EVEN in such a scenario, you are not insured against your former self, who has not known pure perception. The system throws situations at you, becomes more sophisticated, and drops unexpected bricks on your head. MR. SMITH is continuously watching you, trying to lead you away bit by bit from the True You. The latest achievements in physics suggest that a person is a discrete object moving in space and time and AT THE SAME TIME is a WAVE moving in timeless spacelessness. When this realization comes to you (not immediately, believe me, it comes), you begin to understand exactly how Mr. Smith manipulates you. HE controls you not HERE, where you are a discrete object, but HERE, where you are a Wave.
Being a Klippah, I had to shift the focus of perception into poles, and each transition and stay in one of the poles in time was stretched and ultimately pretended to dissolve in the flow. Understanding the absurdity of being destroyed means dissolving in the flow of being, becoming a Corrupted Klippah. To avoid destruction, I had to shift the focus of perception, violating the stability of being. By shifting my focus of perception, I automatically shifted the focus of perception of those who see me. This irritated the Watchers, the proper ones who automatically labeled me as Corrupted Klippah. Since the Watchers, the proper ones are MR. SMITH on the Tree of Klippot and they are also Klippah Leg ‘The Shining Husk’ in their hierarchy of the inverted tree. The Corrupted Klippah is located under the Tree of Klippot… there is no life, there is no knowledge… there is madness and the destruction of life.

The Tree of Klippot is located below the Lower Boundary, while we – people – are in the flow between the Lower and Upper Boundaries – IN MIDGARD. I previously considered all predators as external to me, including the parasite of consciousness. While studying the articles here in the blog, I realized that the parasite of consciousness indeed exists within me, in the psychocosmos, as I have never seen its external form.
