When the Keepers Do Not Protect
Although, undoubtedly, the consciousness of an embodied being constantly teeters between the danger of being devoured and a strong desire for growth, the role of each pole of this binary differs markedly at different stages of its growth.
We have said many times that from the perspective of the Magical myth, the reality of the embodied world is such that its central fact is the brutal struggle for existence.
At the same time, theoretically a being can count on the support of both the Flow of Power itself and the protective powers of the Psychocosmos.
This means that a Magus entering the Flow of Power begins to feel the support of that Flow, and within the Magus the mechanisms that aid movement are activated.
This is well known in the Western tradition as “Conversations with the Holy Guardian Angel”.
However, despite the powerful enlightening impulse of such a manifestation, it is clear that the predators are also alert and, as usual, strive to extract from it a destructive element. And often they succeed – the Magus, inspired by the protective forces awakened in him, begins to feel protected and relaxes. He is sure that he is watched over by gods, angels, or guardian spirits, or even by his own Power.
But it is precisely at that moment that he becomes most vulnerable, and predators seldom miss such an opportunity to strike – therefore often the highest ascent is followed by the deepest fall.
So where has the protective activity gone? It seems that either the gods have turned away from the Magus, or the guardian spirits have fled, and the Magus falls into dejection and depression. But that is precisely what the enemies intended when they pushed him into the abyss.
When entering the Way of Magic, the traveler must abandon the confidence in his own invulnerability and in the reliability of various kinds of walls that guard him.
Even when Daemons watch over the Magus, and the gods favor him, the Magus nevertheless opposes the natural order of things, and he must be clearly aware that the forces opposed to him are far more powerful than those allied with him.
Gods, angels, and many other generally friendly forces are charged with upholding the natural cosmic order, while development, and far more so the liberation of consciousness by Magical means, is not part of that natural order. The world is a balance of food chains, a harmonious coexistence of predators, and a Magus who seeks to leave these chains appears as a breaker of order. Therefore the Magus is always alone in his battle; he must rely only on his own Power and Authority.

This is usually well understood by the “black” Magi and arrogantly ignored by the “white” ones. The former even have a custom of “grafting” a local predator onto the Magus to serve as a “guardian-spirit,” because predators best understand the strategies of other predators and help the Magus avoid many blows.
Clearly, for a Magus striving for freedom, such a solution is absolutely unacceptable, because it amounts to replacing one parasite with another.
Therefore for Magi who do not wish to become food for Qliphothic beings, the only way out is a sober awareness of the fact that no protection or divine favor makes him invulnerable, and the only reliable condition for effective advancement is his own integrity and the soundness of his choices.
The gods watch over the Magus, but his own efforts are more reliable; likewise, falls and defeats do not necessarily mean the gods have abandoned him — they can simply be the result of the enemy’s superior strength.

On the one hand, invulnerability is undoubtedly a very harmful illusion… on the other hand – when and if you go into battle, you need to know who supports you and why… and… believe in your invulnerability Here and Now. Yes, you can lose. But if you go into battle and feel ‘chills running down your spine’… then it’s better not to go 🙂
This concerns Tactics… and in planning Strategy – you need to know for sure that invulnerability does not exist:)
Besides the Parasite of awareness, I also have to observe the ‘Green Snake’ (I don’t know how else to call it), I really don’t want to fight it, but it regularly chips away (through emotions) pieces of power, what should I do? Just addressing prayers doesn’t seem to help…
As far as I understand, Elena, the only way out is not to indulge in the emotions imposed by the ‘Green Serpent’. The ‘green poop’ will eventually tire and crawl away to look for another victim.
Can you tell me a bit more about the vaccine? Is it like a personal demon on your shoulder that eats a stipulated 10% and no more, protecting the remaining 90% from competitors?
Yes, something like that.
> Where does the protective activity go in this case? It seems that either the gods have turned away from the mage or the guardian spirits have scattered…
So your answer to this question is that they, like they kept, still keep, just that “enemies are stronger”… or are there indeed situations when they truly leave?
Of course, there are situations where Guardians do leave – this happens in cases of breaking the “rules of the game” – if the mage (or person) violates any laws or rules necessary for the very existence of the connection between them and the Guardians. The gods can turn away from the mage, and the Power can abandon him if he breaks these rules. But this post was about those situations where the mage seems to have broken no rules, and yet the protection has disappeared. This means that an obstacle has arisen between him and the protective forces, preventing the gods (spirits, angels) from protecting the mage. And that is precisely the case being discussed in the phrase you quoted.
Hello. In your articles, an inner power is captured – it is immediately clear that you know what you are writing about. Impeccability is the only path to freedom. Simple and complex, because on the one hand, each of us knows how to be impeccable at every moment of our lives, but most do not realize this. The world is one in its diversity – it turns out that each part of it always has access to the experience of all other parts. It turns out that the world plays with itself, and this blog, including you, is a conversation with oneself, i.e., part of this myth. Don Juan told KK that he is just dust on his road, arising as part of his “dream.”
Tell me, does everyone who has embarked on the path have guardians or patrons or do some go completely alone?
I will say that everyone who has embarked on the path has an Image, Images, streams, a stream in the Macrocosm, which is the guiding star for the Microcosm of the traveler.
I completely agree with the article. A simple example – the loss of motivation and discipline. As soon as I show weakness, it immediately pulls me into the abyss of laziness and excuses for my beloved self.
As soon as you stop pitying yourself – vitality and the desire to move forward immediately appear.
Everything is in our heads. All limitations are within us. We are the masters of our own existence.
