Kolo of Svarog — Awakening Creative Activity
The third Kolo that the volkhv encounters during his development is the Kolo of Svarog.
On the macrocosmic level this Kolo signifies the cycle of the universe’s active existence; in the microcosm, an analogous act of creation.
Svarog — god of creative activity, Father of the gods and the active aspect of the Creator — gives existence to the cosmos in both its macro- and microcosmic aspects, and likewise establishes the laws of that existence.
Under Svarog’s dominion is the Heavenly Fire — the Creative Power of the Most High. Just as the Svarozhich Semargl rules the created fire, Svarog governs the Creative Fire.

Accordingly, the Kolo of Svarog as a ritual consists in awakening the inner creative forces, the Creative Fire of the Psychocosm. In fact, the processes that unfold during this Kolo are analogous to those that occur in the darkness between the Days of Svarog — the periods of creation.
The scheme of the Kolo is a development of Svarog’s sacred symbol — the so-called “Svastika of Iriy” — a graphic depiction of the rotational motion of the Creative impulse:
The Kolo as a Way arises from the Svastika as a cycle by closing it within the ternary system of the created world:
Since Svarog is the creator of the laws of the cosmos, his Kolo is tenfold, expressing the fullness of the manifestation of lawgiving.
Entering the Kolo passively, the traveler emerges from it full of creative power, whose source he draws from his depths.
Step 1. Thus, the Kolo begins with maximum passivity on the boundary between Earth and Water. This is a complete immersion into the primary, pre-creative layers of the cosmos, whose formation is yet to come. Therefore the first step of the Kolo of Svarog is the renunciation of former activity — the “the Night of Svarog”;
Step 2. In the depths of darkness inspiration arises, the potential for creative activity (the birth of the Storm from the ice of Elivagar); at this point the Psychocosm enters the element of Air — in it the possibility of movement arises;
Step 3. Inspiration requires manifestation in the form of creation. The mind enters the element of Fire, at this stage still tempered by Water, but already ready to manifest;
Step 4. The Fire neutralized by Water seeks an outlet — the mind seeks opportunities to manifest;
Step 5. To this end it turns inward, exploring its depths for ways to realize itself, and discovers within itself a truly boundless source of energy;
Step 6. This discovery brings renewed inspiration — the mind readies its powers to manifest and rejoices in the opening possibilities;
Step 7. This new, now well-founded inspiration demands creation, expression, actualization with renewed force;
Step 8. It understands that to apply its creative activity it needs raw material, a passive environment that serves as support for creativity;
Step 9. Discovering such a support — the transformation of potentials — the mind also finds the goal of the act of creation, the aim of realizing its activity;
Step 10. Having the possibility to create, the raw material for it, and understanding the goal — the traveler enters creative activity.
In general, these steps can be briefly expressed as passivity — inspiration — desire — search for opportunities — self-knowledge — inspiration — awakening — search for raw material — understanding the goal — emergence into activity.
A schematic representation of the Kolo and knowledge of the characteristics of each of its principles will help to orient oneself properly in its concrete content.
Thus, passing through the Kolo of Svarog carries the mind through the heights and depths of the Psychocosm, instilling possibility and desire for creative activity.

Is going through the rituals of different Circles one “global” movement throughout life or are quick passages in some specific processes, situations possible?
Both. A Mag goes through the Circles even if they do not know about their existence, just like, for example, they encounter Rune forces even if they have never heard about Runes. Specific Rituals with corresponding purposes occur according to the Circle scheme, as does the Path as global development.
There are vector relationships of consciousness with the cardinal points. But shifting consciousness in one of the directions, we get a shift of consciousness as a whole, which means it is necessary to create an anchor for consciousness (an axis) in which it remains and from which we will shift it for the purposes of change.
to put it briefly, as I feel them:
East – the aspiration for wisdom and understanding, dream, airiness, sentimentality, inspiration, beginning.
South – filling and realization, movement towards the goal, maturity.
West – completion, filtering the unnecessary, aging, completion of the cycle of fate, preparation for transition, movement downward.
North – the road to infinity, melancholy for the unfulfilled, elevation, sacredness, cold, mountains, death, aspiration upward, transition.
Sorry En, the first message was a question. I forgot to put a question mark. 🙂 Please explain the principle of movement itself, as I see it, but cannot fully grasp it.
I understand that our consciousness is an impulse that shifts in relation to common-world flows, but for everything to work it is essential to fix the changes. How?
Magical worldview does not separate consciousness from being, and does not consider changes in psychocosmos separately from changes in macrocosmos. In this regard, any Initiatory ritual takes place simultaneously in both cosmos and involves strong experiences along with strong actions. Accordingly, the changes aimed at by the Ritual are the result of this “combined” process. The transition of consciousness from one quarter of the Circle to the next means, from the side of consciousness, entering the flows characteristic of corresponding elements (which vary from Circle to Circle, but reduce to interacting with the elements of fire, air, water, and earth in one of their psychocosmic manifestations), and from the side of macrocosmos – interaction with analogous energies in the “external” world. As a result, mutual adjustment occurs, and further harmonization of consciousness based on it. Moving consciousness in a corresponding direction does not mean leaving the other flows, but – focusing attention on one of them, activating and “recasting” the corresponding flow. Of course, for such movement it is necessary to have strict centering of consciousness itself, with the core of consciousness being the seed of individuality, the search for which in any such Ritual is also given considerable attention. And only after passing each of the quarters is the final effect achieved, since consciousness, having gone through the cycle of decay/rebirth, returns to the starting coordinate of its integrity, but already in a new quality. Accordingly, an interrupted, unfinished circle does not conclude with “partial success”, but rather with a complete failure, as interrupting it at any stage leaves consciousness in a “molten”, destabilized state, prolonged or uncontrolled existence in which is fraught with significant losses of energy.
