Support Within and Without

It is often assumed that practical successes achieved by an individual or a group confirm the truth or validity of that person’s or group’s system of beliefs.

A characteristic expression of this idea might be the following quotation: “…if at your summer cottage you use the biodynamic farming system advocated by anthroposophy, based on knowledge drawn from the spiritual world, and you see that your yields have risen sharply, pests have disappeared, then you have grounds to suppose that anthroposophy itself is not very far from Truth…“.

Notably, this logic is accepted by the majority of honest people.

At the same time, it is obvious that completely unrelated concepts are mixed: agricultural pests and the laws of the “spiritual” world, and on the basis of this combination of unrelated notions a pseudo-logical system is constructed that appears plausible.

From the start of humanity’s quest for power, various schools and movements embraced this approach; even for Christianity, the miracles performed by Christ are taken as proof of the truth of his moral and ethical teachings. Indeed, could the man who walked on water have been mistaken?!
Yet even the Gospels, in describing the calling of the Apostles, say that they followed Christ, not His miracles; they did not abandon Him when it seemed the whole world was against Him. They were drawn by something not found in worldly events and phenomena — He himself.
It was their hearts that compelled them to leave everything and follow their Master, their God.

This example shows that only someone who is unwilling or unaware to seek support within themselves looks outside for it.

And only the heart can tell each person whether the path they are on is truly theirs, and it may turn out that, even if that direction is necessary for the rest of the world’s people, they are the one whose way lies elsewhere. And that direction is toward harmonizing one’s being.

Instead of reasoning from external phenomena, by seeking inner support a person takes responsibility for his Way, stops following others’ ideas and blaming others for their failures; they become what they should be — a microcosm, a system that contains the meaning and purpose of its existence, which, nevertheless, does not close itself off but engages freely with other such systems, understanding the fundamental correspondence: the Microcosm is analogous to the Macrocosm, but only in its own way, and only the aggregate of such tones creates the symphony of the Universe. From this perspective, these notions dissolve, and the world is seen as a rich tapestry in which each thread is neither better nor worse than the others, differing only in the level of self-awareness.

major-fool

It becomes clear that what is true for one person, what produces impressive practical results for them, may prove not only useless but even destructive for another.

Thus, although the “biodynamic farming system” may succeed for various people, it does not follow that anthroposophy will benefit everyone.

Therefore, before trusting rational arguments and attractive systems, ask your heart whether it wants this. And if it does — go ahead, take the plunge, without dwelling on dangers or shrinking away, because only in this way can one find oneself.

  1. I think completeness of awareness is impossible without achieving synthesis (arcana 0 fits here), and at the highest level of synthesis, the “foreign, i.e., incomprehensible” cannot exist in principle… On the other hand, from a height to which he has climbed, a fool realizes that his path was not the only one, BUT the most suitable for his individuality.

  2. BEAUTIFUL!!! Is it a problem that I’m writing in Italian (or maybe not…) using Russian letters?)))

  3. As always, I magically land on those articles that I need at this stage of my journey. 🙂 Thank you very much for the wonderful article. For several months now, my heart has been choosing towards ‘my own’. And I am incredibly happy about that, as I’ve struggled throughout my life with the choice of ‘correct’ and ‘true’, but ‘foreign’.

  4. Alis: the main thing is to be, and the heart will react; it will find a suitable option. In the existing consumption by the predators of hearts and other internal supports of man, I asked one Mage at the beginning of my path.
    – What should I do with the klippoth?
    he replied.
    – Relax and enjoy.
The options for choice have been minimized by the Predators, both internal and external.
The balance of internal and external supports allows the heart to speak.

  5. What does the eye in the pyramid in the picture mean? I understand that the question is off-topic. I’ve seen the eye in the pyramid, but what did it mean?

    • It depends on what culture you live in. The symbol is called the ‘All-Seeing Eye’. Note that it’s the left eye.

      • I live in a culture seemingly unrelated to Egypt. Regarding magic – I study runes. And once I contemplated what is called OS, on the topic that there are needles in my blood and how they got there, appearing when a very fashionable video camera was stolen. I will say right away that I relate to everything reasonably and understand that my stories are mainly about me, and even if not, I can’t check it in any way. And checking it is meaningless because it changes nothing. What is worth understanding is the symbolism of this eye and what it can mean personally in my consciousness and what to do with it – return it to place or something else.

        • It’s an interesting idea to understand what to do with it. Thank you! If you just look at it, it can do something to you. :)) (I still don’t understand why almost every one of your posts, Maria, makes me smile. It’s probably related to your adequacy.) I completely agree that symbols have the meaning that one’s own consciousness gives to the interested. I said the same thing, but in a language that seems more suitable for Rozz. On the other hand, it is obvious to me that symbols influence us regardless of our awareness. Therefore, it is great to try to feel and understand what this symbol means to you before searching for information about it. As for the fact that our cultures are not related to Egypt – I doubt it. ‘there are needles in my blood and how they got there and they appeared when a very fashionable video camera was stolen’ = for me: the loss of the ability to closely track and remember what is happening presents a danger similar to death.

          • I actually love when people have fun. Truly. I worked for a long time as a business coach, and it was a fun coach; if we didn’t laugh during the training process, we would probably fight). Regarding symbols – I try to look closely because it’s not a fact that the ‘camera’ which is prominent in Egyptian myths is good and suitable for me right now. And it’s not a fact that the fact it was stolen is bad. Perhaps this is a way to grow, which is perceived as a tragedy. And I am very cautious about such choices and experiments because with the participation of forces, and for me, all of this is not just a logical quest but quite real, everything immediately reflects on me and my world.

          • By the way, an amusing point about having a relation – ‘the same but clearer.’ That’s a debate and an example of perception. An example of perception and projection is the statement hinting at possessing some secret knowledge in the right version. My story is that you can smile and perceive it as a debate and even think that you know something and think whatever you want about me. It doesn’t matter. Because I am currently at the stage of personal decision regarding this symbol. And I shared my experience. Which can easily be interpreted, for example, in the style of stories about the Anunnaki. But I don’t do that. Everything else you saw there is your personal affair. I don’t care if you like it or not, whether you agree or not, whether you argue or not. Of course, for finding an answer, it’s better to express yourself. And any interaction, in the end, is beneficial, whichever way you approach it. And the article and the symbol itself are about reliance on oneself.

          • )))))))))))))))))) These smiles are not from some of my ‘secret’ knowledge. They come from you, from the feelings you evoke. It’s like being on a road, and unexpectedly encountering a dandelion. Or sitting in a garden and suddenly getting a pigeon poop on your head. Of course, no one is arguing here – we exchange personal opinions without claims to ultimate correctness; this has been mentioned several times. For me, this left eye and the whole first picture is an illustration of reliance on the outside. This interaction is useful; as a result, I clarify my answers to the questions: are the interpretations of dream pictures really so important? Perhaps the main role of the pictures is to introduce us into a certain state, to experience a certain experience, and it doesn’t matter what they mean? If inside us, there is something that understands the meaning of these pictures without our reasoning, why should we spend time on understanding? I find your opinion interesting.

          • From my experience, I can say that all myths are within. That is, I first saw it and then read about it. Regarding the left eye, for example, from the ‘recent one’ – I was driving somewhere in a dream in a car that had no windows at all, except for a 10 cm gap on the left side, and everything was moving around. I made it there and learned something again. The only thing is, such wandering is also the result of certain actions up to that moment. And this is not studying lucid dreams – at first, this started happening, and then I looked into it. About confirmation from the outside – in my view, it’s certainly necessary, but I use it in such a way – as a secondary method, not as an impulse for seeking experience. And for me, this is always a separate quest, referring to other sources – to find out how the author lived, what their values were, because when reviewing a text, one needs to take into account its overlay and separate it out. Regarding the dream with the camera – I think it’s going to amuse again; I did what I wanted, no matter how strange it looked – for some reason, I went to a place named ‘White Pharmacy’ and bought several medical leeches. I honestly don’t know why I thought of that because I read various possible versions afterward. I bought them, and that means I attached them to take their needles away. I completely understand that this is a circus)) but that’s how it all happened to me.

          • Also, from what I have seen, since we touched on the subject of dreams – if one attempts to extract it as a skill, it turns out, why not – where attention is directed there it happens. Only people find themselves in their own heads in some sense and see all sorts of monsters and other special effects there. This is not directly related to our conversation; I just observe one process where they seem to teach this – working with dreams. And it’s not bad at all; it’s just possible to engage with reality first and not face one’s own shadows there, at least not in such quantities. Although perhaps the reverse is true. But for the most part, I’ve seen people who take what they see there as the only correct description of the world. That it is as such. It truly is as such in a standalone head. And at some stage, yes, and always, in my opinion, symbols are worth exploring with an impersonal view. I can’t articulate it yet; it’s just that in some cases, trusting dreams is fraught because we can dream anything ourselves. That is, if a person wishes to see, for example, the war of light and darkness, then they will see it. I can look fairly well because I genuinely wish to see it as it is, whatever it turns out to be.

    • Rozz, the pyramid is an energy accumulator. The pyramid is broken. At the top is the pyramid. At the bottom – it no longer exists. The eye – to see, to observe, to perceive. The eye is at the top. What might this mean?.. Look at the drawing as a whole; it suggests much. As a last resort – a Google query, it’s described in many places.

      • I found a description that the pyramid is a merging of souls. But that’s probably not quite it. I didn’t specifically see a pyramid; I saw a triangle, in which there was an eye of a person I know.

        • For me, your experience is very valuable) in my case, it was also about relationships and that first one must find their ‘camera’, but this will only be one ‘eye’. I understood much more from your statement than from the article and other discussions.

          • I think it is noticeable that I have a specific way of learning) I perceive life as a quest, and taking into account my current stage of development – I understand that at this level of consciousness I simply cannot imagine the next one and, accordingly, formulate a clear intent. But I can feel what I want or cunningly set an open goal. This symbol emerged and began to figure in my system of signs after a serious intention – to become the best possible version of myself and specific actions in that direction. Since the world unfolds gradually, and probably for each in its own way, so that it becomes clear to the person themselves, I can hardly state what this is at the moment. The quest still continues. The informational field of this sign for me is that we cannot independently become the best possible version of ourselves. And simply with any and every random person – we can’t either. And until we have become ourselves (not found our part of the camera)) – we also cannot very well. Your experience helped me as a symbol on my path of understanding this sign. Here is a person, and here is such an experience, and in my opinion, he talks about the same thing. After all, for me to receive such confirmation through the experience of another person – if I hadn’t heard you, I would have needed to live another life, for example, and gain that experience again. Therefore, I am grateful.

  6. “Therefore, before trusting logical constructs and beautiful systems, ask your heart – does it want this? And if it does – go ahead, dive in, without thinking about dangers and without fear, because only in this way can you find yourself.” You enter a system you like. You soak up like a sponge everything you need. In your spare time, you cleanse yourself of the unnecessary. You restructure what you need to your taste. You obtain your beauty. And then there is something to rejoice in, for someone else’s beauty is not your own and not what you need, no matter how magnificent it may be.
