Signs of Power
“The Lord God does nothing without first revealing his secret...”

The notion that every event begins with a prelude that manifests in the world and is observable goes back to ancient times. It is precisely this idea that forms the ideological basis of predictions, divinations, prophecies, and even superstitions such as the belief that a black cat brings misfortune or that an old woman carrying an empty bucket portends ill luck.
Every event preparing to pass from potential existence to actuality is accompanied by a preceding material disturbance, which involves a regrouping to receive the element. Since the manifested world is an integrated system in which every object is connected to every other by numerous links, the appearance of a new element requires the rearrangement of elements already present, and it is this rearrangement that has been called “Signs of Power.”
No matter how small or insignificant the event, it is always accompanied by such omens.
One often hears that reading signs is merely the fruit of developed intuition, i.e., the ability to perceive synthesis from thesis and antithesis. However, it is not entirely so. To perceive the Signs, calculation alone, such as a “capacity for foresight” based on experience, is insufficient; some Power is also required.
Of course, only that which already exists as a potential can be realized; yet the transition from potential existence to actuality requires a surge in the Flow of Power entering the new system of relations.
This is not a discussion of true prophecy built on an algorithmic principle — “if you do such-and-such, you will receive such-and-such; otherwise — you will receive something else” — but rather concerns the ability to see what is already ripe for manifestation.
Only in exceptional cases is the seer’s attention specifically drawn to a sign (for example, by angels or gods appearing to prophets); in most cases, however, the Signs may pass unnoticed. And this is not at all to say that the Magus must constantly read cards or examine the entrails of animals. The world is constantly full of signs, and one only needs to know how to see them. The world speaks to the Magus in every rustle of branches, the flight of birds, and the wind’s breath.
For the Magus, the ability to see signs is extremely important. Beyond attesting to his intimate relationship with Power, this ability helps him orient himself in a changing world, adapting his energy structure to impending changes, and thus protects him from power losses during cosmic regrouping. Therefore, the Magus must constantly look around, carefully assessing the world that speaks to him, without being distracted by extraneous stimuli; his harmony with Way and Power will peak.
I cannot say that I am a mage, but I have long thought about the vision of the phenomena of the world. Honestly, not just thought – in my life experience, I have encountered such signs, and I have started to take them more seriously. With respect, IZDRAVEL.
I agree with everything mentioned above, especially with the fact that the World constantly gives us Signs, and our task is not to miss them. Regarding my experience, particularly significant for me was the appearance of a clear image of the Inguz rune in the sky, and of negative signs, when financial problems arise, I’ve started to be ‘followed’ by garbage trucks. But I feel that even this can be used to my benefit, only I still cannot understand how to do it correctly.
About two years ago, I had a dream: twilight, I stand in a glade-rise, surrounded by a forest… Suddenly I hear a strange sound…, I raise my head and see a large gray owl. It sits on my head, but I am not afraid; on the contrary, I feel a sense of delight. I raise my right hand and stroke its feathers. Strangely, the owl causes me no pain, neither with its beak nor with its claws… It felt as if I had been marked…
I assume you’re talking about something like this. An example from life: I stand in front of an administrative building waiting for a person who is late. I ask Reality: What is happening with the person who is late, and will they come to the meeting? I start to notice a change in the usual flow of the surrounding space. I see a running man (I’m waiting for a woman), his bag falls from his shoulder, something breaks inside the bag and spills onto the pavement. An old lady tries to help him, but he’s already shaking out the contents of the bag that broke and spilled, jumps into the car waiting for him, and drives off. The old lady curses him as he leaves; he managed to dirty her with the bag’s contents. I conclude that my acquaintance was in a hurry and encountered problems related to water and something broken but managed to overcome it and will arrive soon.
It turned out approximately like that; she came over soon and told a heartbreaking story about an accident that her minibus got into, there was a lot of blood in the cabin, but she was unharmed, she didn’t wait for the continuation of the incident and left amidst general groans and curses.
For several years now, I have been closely observing everything happening around, and I can confidently agree that the world speaks. For example, the flying crow, the hidden kitten, the air whirlwind around the corner (to the south), the flock of doves suddenly taking flight, the overlapping leaves in the air. And all this in 10 minutes of walking. But how can I understand what the world is saying? Should I study books on symbolism? This happens constantly, but it seems I don’t know the “language”. Only in rare situations can I accurately say what a Sign means. But how can I understand what the world is saying? Should I study books on symbolism? Please tell me.
The same situation. I have known for a long time that Signs of Power are constantly around us. I can notice many things that can be perceived as Signs. However, I do not know how to interpret and understand them correctly.
The vision of so-called “signs” may pertain to the purely psychic sphere and be a result of a thinning perception, rather than an entry into the flow of Force. Ultimately, these “signs” are not really signs at all, but rather noise from the presence of the Force. We should not speak of signs (I mean signs as a path, not specific cases of warnings, such as the danger of death) that need to be interpreted, like indicators on a road, but rather of a Call that one must respond to by developing in that direction towards the Force.
In principle, even people who are psychically inclined, without a magical Path, can establish a dialogue with the Force. For this, it is enough to remember the expression “to get a specific answer, you must ask a specific question,” or at least recall this “specific question” as a situation and work in that direction, training one’s psychic perception and enhancing psychic potential. However, this one-sided development may have some not entirely positive consequences.
I had a similar situation. The pigeons in the sky flew in circles. I constantly stumble upon wild rose bushes 🙂
Sometimes strangers (passersby, fellow passengers in public transport, or those who approach intentionally) address me personally and communicate something, as if unexpectedly. Who are these people? Are they talking to themselves, or is someone speaking through them?
