The cow Audumbla, licking the stones, brings forth the first giant, Buri.
Ymir, a hermaphroditic being, appears simultaneously with Audumbla, destined to be the material of the universe, the space from which all things come into being.
The Rune Fehu yields to the Rune Uruz.
Uruz (Tur, Aurochs, sometimes called Okalina, meaning ‘rain’.) – the Rune of creative, life-forming forces.
And the rune’s very shape is the mighty back of the forest-dweller — the tur, the aurochs, the bear.
This rune represents the earth’s great power, not yet formed, uncultivated, or controlled — like a volcanic eruption, a hurricane, a tsunami, and similar events.
The semantic field of this rune also embraces the union of the masculine and the feminine, the generative forces and the birthing forces.

Hello! When using runes, is it mandatory for the primary visual-semiotic association of the symbol to correspond to the myth?
I practiced this rune together with Kenaz (sex) and Teyvaz (direction) – just magnificent results, physically tired after a month – lay down to recover for a day.
